Tsuya

"Mhmm" I groaned as I opened my eyes my body scrunched up in my usual sleeping position, I tried to turn over but I felt a pang of pain on my right side and instantly got up. "Oww!" I yelped almost falling off my bed, did I get stabbed or something?

"Oh look who's awake, goodmorning sunshine~" Izaak cooed from the open door in front of the kitchen.

"Wh-what happene-" And then I suddenly realized, Well Fuck; I thought. I bolted up from my bed but my body just didn't respond and I fell to the floor, but before I hit the ground I felt Izaaks strong arms take hold of me and gently place me on the wooden floor.

"You're not in the mind to go now-" I cut him off.

"They could be in trouble, Yaku could be hurt! And what the heck did you give me?" I tried to pry myself off him.

"You're hurt Tsuya, I gave some anesthesia, you had lost too much blood" He spoke in a pitiful way.

"I've been in worse" I retaliated. Why won't he just let me go. He didn't answer back, he just sighed and helped me up from the floor.

"You need to be careful" He warned. "You get into trouble like that again one of you can get killed" His tone was low and cold.

"I know, but this is one of those mission's where someone can get hurt, I took the risk"

"I just want you to be safe" He started to help me patch myself up again. "You know you mean a lot to me" he said in barely a whisper. I slipped a baggy black hoodie on, and wrapped Kuroo's plaid shirt around my waist, thankfully it wasn't ripped or filled with blood. "Oh and don't forget these" Izaak smirked as he pulled out my guns from the waist of his belt. "You'll be needing them"

"Hopefully not" I say in a tired tone. "Go back to your apartment Izaak, thank you. I cant risk you blowing your cover either" I say as I walked out the door.

--

"Kuroo!!" I yelled as I bang his apartment door a few times, being impatient I started to pick the lock. I opened the door and It was the as empty as a church on the week-days. I cursed under my breath, where would they have gone than, I checked my phone to see quite a few missed calls and a messages. I checked the message to see kuroo had written a name ...

"Kenma"

--

Kuroo

After I had heard Tsuya's que I had grabbed Yaku and ran, I ran as fast as I could to the closest place that would be safe; Kenma's house. It was around a 5 minute run to the Kenma residence and also neighboring to where my old house was, before my parents had to move to miyagi because of grampa. I put Yaku down against the window of the house and looked around the neighborhood to see if anyone had followed them. Thats a good start, we're  not being followed ...

"Dingg, dongg" The bell's sound clearly through the house.

"Kon'nichiwa?" A semi tall male opened the door that looked very much like Kenma, except without the dyed hair that is.

"Kaito-san-"

"Ah- Kuroo, Yaku What happened" He asked as he helped me carry Yaku inside, onto the couch.

"We uh- We got jumped at the convenience store" I spoke out of breath as I sat down onto the floor close to yaku. Blood stained against my shoulder and my hands.

"I'll get the first aid kit- Kozume!" He yelled towards the stairs.

"Yes Oni-san" hearing a muffled voice from upstairs. And all his older brother replied was with;

"Kuroo's here!" Kenma stomped down the stairs wearing a grey t-shirt and his volleyball sweat pants.

"Ano! What happened" Kenma asked in a low voice coming close to Yaku and noticing the blood, he swallowed a lump in his throat. He then looked at me with scared and worried eyes.

"We g-got jumped at the convenience store" I swallowed back whatever just dared to come out.

"Go get cleaned up, I'll watch over him" I nodded. I had spelt over at Kenma's multiple times, it was like a second house to me since I had grown up in this exact place. I went up to the bathroom and tried calling Tsuya but to no avail, she didn't answer or reply. Now I was worried, I washed up and taken one of Kenma's older brothers shirts from the laundry, where I was instructed. I sighed, it had been a hectic day, I was about to text Tsuya that we were okay and at Kenma's house until I heard Kenma squeak, and a loud groan from Yaku. I texted what i could and ran down.

"Hey guys" Yaku said in a raspy voice while the three of us just watched and made sure he was okay. Kaito had patched up his neck before he got up, however everyone was happy he was okay.

"How are you feeling?" I said in a light voice.

"I'm okay, but how'd I get here?" He asked holding the temple, not daring to get up from his laying position on the sofa.

"Don't worry about that, just rest Yaku" I spoke as Kenma had brought him a glass of water.

"Here you go Yaku-senpai" He got up to drink until-

"Dingg dongg. Dingg dongg" The door bells sound went twice. Kenma's was about to get up and I pushed his shoulder back down.

"I'll get it" I walked over to the door and looked through, all I could see was a baggy black hoodie, I instantly tensed up, and got ready to open the door, or even maybe have another fist fight. I took a deep breath and pulled at the knob.

"Kuroo!" The hoodie came down and Tsuya tackled me with a big hug. "Oh god you're okay" She spoke into my ear and I sighed hugging her back, but at that she flinched at my touch.

"Are you okay?" I spoke in worry backing away and looking at her cloths, she seemed to look normal.

"Haha I'm fine" She laughed it off and walked right past me.

Tsuya

"Yaku!" I said in joy, he was up and okay. I hugged him gently. "I heard what happened, I just wanted to make sure you're okay"

"How'd you find out we were here?" Kenma asked in suspicion.

"I told her. I was going to go to the cafe with her but Yaku and I got jumped" Filling Tsuya as well as Kenma in with the story.

"Mhmm" I sighed, and looked at Yaku's patched up neck. "You guys should be more careful"

"Hello there?" Asked Kaito who had just walked back from the kitchen with a tray filled with food. "And you are?"

"She's a friend from school she just wanted to make sure they were okay" I looked at the man with confusion. "Oh and that's my older brother" Kenma clarified.

"Nice to meet you ...?" He raised his hand to greet me.

"Kaori Tsuya" I shook his hand.

"Oh I forgot the water, silly me" Said the one so 20 year old man.

"Oh I'll get it" said Kuroo from behind me, "Would you mind helping me Kaori?" He asked in a serious tone.

"Sure thing" We walked down the hall to the kitchen. Kuroo stopped and pushed me too the wall, his right arm on my shoulder and his left arm on my side.

"You're hurt." He stated looking into my eyes.

"No I'm not" He raised an eyebrow at my answer. He came closer slowly pressed his palm against my right hip making me groan in agony resulting in me pushing him back. His eyes widen.

"I told you, you're hurt" Awkward silence till he spoke lowly again. "Who where they? Why'd they go so far to hurt you?"

"Because I stopped them from kidnapping Yaku" I say in a stern voice, stating the obvious.

"What do they have against Yaku then?" Kuroo asks, threading his hand through his bed hair, trying to get his head around the situation. I sigh.

"I don't know" I lie to Kuroo. It's best if he doesn't know the truth, about Yaku or my cover. "Like I told you before, I'm just a girl that knows martial arts nothing else. I want my friends to be safe" Kuroo's eyes fall as do mine, he mutters a small apology and we keep walking.

"I'm sorry for getting you involved in this" He said lowly, whispering in my ear.

"It's not your fault, don't worry" We hurriedly get the water and head back to the living room. Kaito passed Kuroo a plate and offered me one.

"Thank you but I should get going, I just wanted to make sure Yaku was okay" I smile at them all. "I'll for sure see you two at practice tomorrow morning alright. Don't bother coming Yaku, rest up" and with that I left.

Kuroo

The clock struck 11:00 pm and we sat in Kenma's living room,Kenma and I were talking about the usual as Yaku was fast asleep on the couch, It was a good thing that Kenma's parents were out for the day or else this could have gotten out of hand. I realized that Yaku did tell me that his dad had gone for a business trip to somewhere in Thailand, and also that his mom had taken his little sister with her to their grandma's house in Yamagata ... Yaku's phone rang from inside my pocket. Shit, his mother would be here tonight. I picked up the phone.

"Hello?"

"Morisuke?"

"Oh no, this is Kuroo speaking, Yaku is with me"

"Ahh, Kuroo-san, I was wondering where he had gone, the door wasn't closed either, aish this child"

"I was wondering if you would let him sleep over today, He was pretty worn out from practice" I try to explain on the phone.

"At the apartment building, Sure, but he better be up early to get his sister as well he should know his responsibilities, may I speak with him?"

"Oh yes definitely" I look around to see Yaku glaring at me and I hand him his cell phone.

"Hello Kaa-san" Yaku continued to make excuses to stay at my place as I cleaned up the living room with Kenma.

"Thank you Kenma, for today"

"Your welcome" he says in a light voice. "You know you can tell me anything, right Kuro? You seem to be in your mind ..." He spoke as he patted me on the shoulder, the one person I knew I can definitely trust is Kenma. I honestly don't know what I would do without him.

"Yeah I know, I'll see you tomorrow okay, we should take our leave its dark"

"Ah, Oni-san can drop you guys off, just to be safe" He said and without hesitation ran to his brother to ask. I looked at how drained Yaku is ... this isn't safe why would someone want to kill an average high school teenager? It just doesn't make sense. The only thing is that only we know that his dad is a very high known man, but why yaku?

"Kuroo?" I hear Yaku call my name.

"Yeah? Watsup?"

"Did-" He stopped himself trying to find the right words. "Did you see any of those men's faces?" He looks as if he desperately needed answers. I sigh.

"I'm sorry Yaku. I don't ... I think you should tell your-" He cut me off.

"My parents. No. They will bring in unnecessary drama"

"Yaku this could be a serious matter"

"Than we'll just have to wait and see, neither of us has the answers were looking for. Don't worry Kuroo, You know I'm smarter than that" He smirks and nudges me towards Kenma. "Let's go".

Tsuya

I walk up to the door in our apartment building and yank it open only to see my partner in crime laying on the couch with gun, unbuilding and rebuilding it while looking at the rom-com tv serial on the screen. I scoff at his livelihood, It isn't even my own house and he's feeling at home.

"Hey there lovely stranger on my couch" I mourn sarcastically.

"Hey there ... Lovely lady?" He whips his head back wiggles his eyebrows at me.

"Oh kill yourself" I chuckle as I take off the hoodie and unhook my gun holster. I unlatch my gun, walking towards him. "Shall we declare war?" I wave my gun around in my left hand, speaking in probably the worst british accent I could muster.

"Oh it's on be-otch!" He yells while laughing we take our phones out and set them on the table on the timer. We put the guns on the table lying face front and our hand on our head.

"On the count of three ... One" I set my hand getting ready for battle.

"Two" He says as he looks at me with his eyes as if they were blood thirsty to win.

"Three!" we say in unison. The game was to un-build and rebuild the gun in a matter of seconds, the one to do so successfully in the lowest amount of time, wins.

"Beep .. Beep" The stopwatches made noise as we both click them in very close seconds behind each other.

"Auuggghh!!" I crumble to the floor as he stands on top the table dancing. "That was like 5 milliseconds" I complain.

"Well it was an exact 1 second behind, 28.4 seconds to 27.4 so in your face!" sticking his tongue he continues dancing.

"Hmphf" I admit he was always better at the CIA stuff, as if he was born to an agent, he always inspired me to do better.

"So, how was it?" He asked, falling back on the couch.

"Their okay. Did you get a visual on the suspect I ask him as I take my laptop out of the bag to do my search.

"Yeah I did and this is what I got on him" He took the computer right out of my hands and shined his own new file in my face, I roll my eyes at him. "I already know your password so chill ... this guy was one of the underdogs of that Japanese mafia apparently they also have a huge money laundering business".

"Money laundering, like dirty money? Here in Japan?" I asked shocked by the statistics in the file that I myself couldn't find.

"Yeah, in the means of casino's here in tokyo and the Kanto region. Which means they're most likely involved with the Yakuza ... Nice going Baka"

"Hmphf" I take the laptop out of his hand and start to think of my next move. Pouting I try to reach for the remote to turn off the dumb drama on the tv-. "Ah- ouch" I feel the bandage tear against my skin and my sudden reaction is to grip the wound, I fall off the couch and onto the floor.

"Tsuya? I forgot about your injury, damn" He leans down and tries to get me up but the pain is unbearable due to the recent stretch and pressure. On top of all the commotion the doorbell rang at that exact moment.

"H-hide, I'll get the door you can't be seen" I whisper yell at him.

"Why can't I be seen it's probably no one"

"I'll blow my cover!"

"Ugh- fine" I get up and see if I look okay, the door rings again.

"I coming!" I yell, looking at my attire. I'm wearing a white tank top which is sorta revealing ... Oh whatever. I hurriedly open the door and see a tired Kuroo at the door, scratching his neck.

"Hey ... Um I just wanted to ask if you're okay ... I- um" I chuckle.

"I'm fine Kuroo, don't worry" I try to reassure him but he stays persistent with his asking.

"Let me see the wound at least, Tsuya I'm licenced i've done First aid and CPR ... and anyways I want to become a doctor" He mumbles the last part, however he starts to move closer to me.

"Kuroo I'm definitely okay, is Yaku home?" I nervously ask.

"He's down stairs" He said simply coming even closer, his strides smooth and his voice clear as the night sky. I had unconsciously backed up towards the table behind me and with a single stride his body was inches from mine.

"Kuroo- um ... I-" I put a hand on his chest trying to stop him, however I start to feel his hand creeping up my side.

"Don't worry" He spoke into my ear. "I won't hurt you" I internally curse at myself because to my disadvantage, because Kuroo is actually a really good looking man. I was frozen and tired I felt weak in the knees and I couldn't push him back. He lifted my shirt from the area and I saw his eyes wide, He backed up from me with his hand covered in blood. "You- you need to be stitched, t-the wound is deep it-"

"The first-aid kit's in my room" I say taking a deep breath, he hurriedly goes to get it. I propel myself against the table and sit on top of it. I see a glimpse of Izaak in the curtain and he signals me 'No ... either he meant kissing or intimacy' but I get the point. I tell him to not worry, and hide back behind the curtain.

"L-lift your shirt for me" I could feel his nervousness all around the room as he starts to treat the wound. "It must've hurt. Your stitches were stretched out from their positions .. you should have gone to the hospital" He says in a small voice not looking me in the eyes after practically looking and touching the figure of my body, his face was still blushing. Well in his defense mine was too.

"It's fine. They might've asked about the cause of the wound anyway... what would I have told them they would've started to investigate?" I wince at the sudden needle and patch up job happening on the right hip.

"So you're not stupid" He scoffs under his breath.

"What does that means" I pout causing him to laugh.

"Well you're all patched up, kitten" He says putting the needle and cotton ball filled with blood into the trash can. "Come down stairs, me and Yaku were planning a movie night, and i'll also give you some medicine so you don't get an infection on that wound"

"I'll get it from you tomorrow, if it's okay with you i'm really tired" I say with all honesty.

"Oh, you're right, get some rest" He says, slightly disappointed.

"How about I take you to my favorite coffee shop tomorrow to pay you back for your help?" I ask as I come down from the table, but I end up bucking my knees and falling down again.

"Yeah- Woah there you better be careful" as he hold me around the waist, I see him smirk from the corner of my eye. He suddenly crouched down and picks me up from over his shoulder.

"Oi! Hey, put me down!" I try to stop him from being foolish and getting himself injured too. He gently puts me down onto my bed.

"Go to sleep I'll see you tomorrow" He says as he takes his leave, as I hear the door shut a few seconds later I hear slow clapping coming from the living room.

"Bravo, bravo Ms. right, that was quite the show" He enters my room laughing. "Gotta tell ya', way better than that rom-com I was watching earlier" Say's Izaak still gripping his stomach from all the laughter.

"Ha-Ha, very funny" I reply with dead sarcasm.

"No seriously, what a guy-" He starts to horribly imitate Kuroo's voice. "I'm licensed, I know first aid. Don't worry kitten I won't hurt you~"

"Oh please Izaak, he did a better stitch job than you'll ever do in your life" I tried to get him off my ass. "And anyways, i'm actually tired, goodnight!" I yell as I kick him out of my room. "Go home and go to sleep!"
