{Prologue}
"Oof!" The little boy with spiky hair fell down while climbing the tree. The other two sat and started looking for more beetles around the field.
"Iwa, please don't hurt yourself! We'll find more dung beetles in the forest over there." The shorter girl pointed out the forest a few miles away while playing with her bug catching net. The trio of children slowly walked towards the tall trees as the brown haired boy lowly hummed a tune by Beethoven. The girl beside him rocked side to side with the beat and the eldest strolled behind them dragging the cage which was half his size, but will soon be filled with little crawlers from the forest.
"Oikawa- Don't move," Iwaizumi eagerly uttered in a hushed voice as he finally found a beetle in a reachable location. Just as the the young boy was about to lunge at the bug, Tsuya had already caught it with her net and had secured her minuscule hands around it.
"Haha~ You owe me chocolate now, Iwa!" The youngest female giggled as she handed him the net, while the second oldest sat down beside the net looking at the sunset behind the trees, still humming his childhood song.
"That's not fair- I was about to get it!" He huffed, clearly disappointed with himself as he put the beetle in the cage, looking at it in astonishment. "This one is really cool; Tsuya, look at it's back! It's purple, and it's really shiny. What are we gonna name it?" The boy looked at his friends with a delighted look as he asked them his question.
"Hmm, I don't know..." The girl pondered with a shrug as both their eyes went to the boy sitting under the tree, dazing.
"Oi, Oikawa! What should we name this one, it's really cool!" The spiky haired boy waiting for his best friend to answer, stood up from a crouch and started looking at the sunset as well.
"Maybe you could use a hero's name... Maybe Aladdin?"
"Aladdin was a prince, Oikawa." The girl stood behind the two, stating her point matter-a-factly.
"That's not a bad idea! We'll name him Aladdin."

Walking back home, the trio went to the store close to buy some ice cream and chocolate, for all of them to share. The little girl had loved the two's company and they both went out to play or bug catch often. The girl's mother despised the two and their families, but Tsuya never understood why. Her mother told her not to go with them, and facing the rebel she was, the girl went anyway.
"Creek ..." Went the window as the three youngsters entered the female's home, trying to not make any noise possible so the don't get caught. They had left the bug cage at the Iwaizumi residence before their parents found out they were gone a few hours before their bedtime. The seven year-old's talked and played around in the big room which had been filled with posters of television shows and cartoons that the girl loved.
"Remember the time when Oikawa fell in the pound on the edge of the forest trying to get his Volleyball back?"
"Yeah! That was really fun-" Tsuya stopped as she saw the door slowly open and her father poke his head in and smile, looking at the three sitting down below the bed, on the carpet.
"Well look what we have here~" He said with delighted smile, which both enlightened the trio and also scared them. "Hello Hajime, hello Tooru. It's been a long time since I've seen you, hasn't it?" He asked with his piercing turquoise eyes, that are complementing his wavy black hair, the same as his daughters.
"Y-yes Mr. Kaori," Iwaizumi said and bowed with respect as he realized that both him and Oikawa have to get back home. Oikawa also stood to meet him and bowed.
"No need to be so kind, it's only me, after all. Did you three go bug catching today?" He asked, his voice as smooth as silk.
"Yeah! We went to the forest, too, and we found a really nice beetle that was purple-!" Tsuya beamed towards her father as she told him about her day with her friends excitedly, and he listened to her stories with all ears.
--
"Bye Oikawa! Bye Iwa!" The girl yelled as the two boys walked to their neighboring houses waving back at her as she stood next to her father who was always there beside her, but never did she realize that someday the years of her happiness would soon end.
