Chapter 2
"Wonyoung, this is Park Han Seo and his twin sister Mi Cha. Would you mind looking after them for a bit? They're bodyguard is also here to help supervise," Heeseung suddenly appeared at the door of her office with two adorable little kids in tow along with the guy she saw on the day of her interview.
"I don't mind at all! They look adorable!" Wonyoung smiled, standing up from her desk.
Heeseung breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank you so much. You're a star. I need to get going, ring me if you need anything or any help," And with a wave he disappeared in a hurry.
"Nice to see you again," The bodyguard bowed.
"You too! I take it these are the two kids you were looking for?" Wonyoung smiled at the two children who had their arms wrapped around his legs.
"Ah, yes," He laughed, "both a pair of troublemakers. I'm Nishimura Riki by the way, but everyone just calls me Niki." He introduced himself.
"I'm Jang Wonyoung, the new secretary," Wonyoung said.
"Hyung, I'm thirsty," The little boy gave a small tug at Niki's hand.
"What do you want to drink?" Niki asked, patting the boy on the head.
"Can we have milk and cookies? Pretty please!" Mi Cha exclaimed excitedly.
Niki nodded, smiling. "I'll be right back. Behave yourselves and don't cause trouble for Miss Jang," He said.
"We won't!" The two kids said in unison.
Niki disappeared, leaving the two kids in her care.
"Are you going to be our new babysitter?" Han Seo suddenly piped up, making himself comfortable on the couch nearby.
"Am I - what?" Wonyoung was taken aback with the question.
"Whenever daddy gets a new secretary, they always become our new babysitter. It's part of their work and stuff," Mi Cha said.
"What?!" Wonyoung just stood looking at them in shock.
"Our dad doesn't trust like, proper babysitters. He's very protective of us," Han Seo explained.
"So, part of my job is to take care of you?" Wonyoung slowly grasped the information.
Both kids nodded.
A look of realisation crossed her face. "You're both Mr Park Sunghoon's children?!" She gasped.
Both kids nodded again.
"Did Heeseung hyung not mention Sunghoon hyung's children?" Niki asked, reappearing.
Wonyoung shook her head.
Niki looked at her in sympathy. "You two take your milk and cookies and play quietly," He instructed them before sitting down opposite her.
"I take it you didn't read the contract properly?" He guessed.
Wonyoung sighed and shook her head. "No wonder Mr Lee asked me at the end if I was good with kids!" She said, "and they're the CEO's kids too."
Niki silently analysed her face, looking for any signs of panic, stress, or annoyance. All he could see was confusion.
"I don't know if I have the right to tell you anything, but," Niki started slowly, "Mr Park has never trusted proper babysitters since he was a child. Babysitter firms or independent hires, it didn't matter. He just doesn't trust them."
"He has, trust issues?" Wonyoung processed the information.
"I guess you could put it that way. I can't tell you anything else as it's not my story to tell, but, please be patient with hyung. I've known him for years, which is why I'm trusted to guard the two troublemakers," Niki said.
"Thank you, for telling me," Wonyoung smiled, "I have nothing against looking after them, it's just that, all this new information is sudden."
"Patience is a key thing to have when applying to be his secretary. The longer you know him for, though, the more you'll understand him," Niki gave his advice.
Wonyoung nodded, looking at the two children lying on the floor with their colouring books.
"You'd best get back to your work, I'll join the two," Niki said.
"Thank you," Wonyoung smiled.

The ringing of the telephone woke the two kids who had fallen fast asleep on the couch.
"Hello? Mr Park Sunghoon's office, how may I help you?" Wonyoung said, answering the phone.
"Hi, Miss Jang, it's me, Mr Lee," The voice came through.
"Oh, hi," Wonyoung said, "Is there something you need help with?"
"Not for me, for the CEO," Heeseung said, "his bodyguard has just called in to request you and the two children up on the landing pad along with Niki. Just bring your work iPad with you."
"Oh, okay. Do you know what for?"
"Nope, only that it's business related," And with that, he hanged up.
"Um, Niki?" Wonyoung stood up and packed her iPad into her bag, "Mr Lee said something about me, you and the two kids going up to the landing pad?"
"The CEO wants to bring them with him at this hour of the evening? He must really want a mood lift," Niki quickly packed the kids' things into their backpacks and got them ready.
"I'll go get my coat," Wonyoung said, running into a separate room to get her stuff.
"Oppa, where are we going?" Mi-Cha asked, yawning.
"Your dad's coming to pick us up," Niki said, buttoning up her coat.
Mi-Cha's face lit up. "Really?!" She exclaimed, excited as she began to bounce in her feet, all tiredness leaving her.
"Hey wait a minute! Stay still, I'm not done!" Niki protested, struggling to finish up her buttons.
Han Seo had also forgotten his tiredness as he yanked his coat on and began to button them up.
"Here, let me help," Wonyoung placed her bag down as she knelt on the floor to help him.
"Thank you!" Han Seo beamed.
Once they made sure they had everything, Niki led them up to the top of the building where there were a couple of landing pads.
It was windy and Wonyoung wrapped her coat tighter around her. Two little gloved hands slipped into hers.
"Daddy is going to pick us up in his helicopter!" Mi-Cha excitedly hopped.
"Look!" Han Seo pointed with his free hand at the approaching helicopter.
Wonyoung, looked up in the sky to see a sleek black, luxurious helicopter, obviously bulletproof, nearing the landing pads.
"When they land, wait for the blades to stop. Then just follow instructions," Niki yelled over the noise to be heard.
Wonyoung nodded as she drew the children closer to her to shield them from the wind and noise.
After a few minutes, the helicopter landed, and soon after, the blades came to a stop.
The doors opened and Park Sunghoon and his bodyguard stepped out.
"Dad!"
"Daddy!"
Both kids let go of Wonyoung's hands and ran towards their father.
Sunghoon bent down, arms wide as he wrapped them in a huge hug.
Wonyoung smiled as she watched from afar. It was a very sweet moment, seeing the two kids excited to see their father after a long day.
"Come on," Niki gave her a small tug on her sleeve towards the helicopter.
"You must be the new secretary," The bodyguard smiled, "I'm Jake, nice to meet you."
"Jang Wonyoung, nice to meet you too," Wonyoung smiled back.
"So you're my new secretary? Sorry I haven't been able to meet you properly over the last couple of days, I've been caught up in work," Sunghoon nodded.
"Don't worry about," Wonyoung bowed.
"Unnie took great care of us! Can she come over and play soon!" Mi-Cha smiled up at her father, giving his hand a tiny tug.
Sunghoon looked down at her smiled softly. "Soon," He promised.
"Hyung!" Han Seo tackled Jake next, wrapping his arms round the older guy's legs.
"Hello Han Seo! Ready to go for a ride?" Jake chuckled, picking the boy up and swinging him around.
"Yeah!" Han Seo nodded.
Sunghoon, along with Jake and Niki, helped the two kids up into the helicopter. Sunghoon followed them, then Niki. Jake helped Wonyoung up before he joined them and shut the door.
In the helicopter there were four seat together and then two separate chairs opposite. Mi-Cha sat next to the window, he father beside her, while Han Seo was seated between him and Niki.
Jake and Wonyoung took the chairs opposite, buckling up tightly.
"Daddy! Unnie played hide and seek with us earlier!" Mi-Cha said as her father fixed the headset over her ears.
"Did you have fun?" Sunghoon asked.
"Yeah!" Mi-Cha nodded.
"About an hour till we reach Busan, sir," Jake said.
Sunghoon nodded. "We'll go straight to the company building. The kids can sleep in my office."
