Chapter 3
A/N: Okay, for the sake of the story, Robert and Andy kind of get along. Let's say that they somehow got over the whole Robert killing Katie/Andy getting Ross to shoot Robert thing and Robert and Andy are on good(ish) terms with each other.

Andy and Zoe arrived at The Woolpack after the five/ten minute walk from Andy's house. All the way to the pub, Zoe was looking around in awe, loving the adorable little village of Emmerdale. If only she knew about the not-so-adorable things that went on around here...
"Okay, you sit down and I'll go find Vic." Andy told his little sister. Zoe obliged and obediently sat down at a table, while Andy walked up to the bar.
"Hey, Andy, what can I get you?" Chas asked the muscular bloke.
"Um, do you know where Victoria is? I really need to talk to her." Andy said.
"She's in the kitchen at the moment." Chas replied.
"Can I please go and see her? It's important." Andy practically begged.
"Yeah, sure, go on through." She said. Andy thanked her, knowing people usually aren't allowed behind the bar or in the kitchen unless they're employees. Andy entered the pub's kitchen, relieved to see Victoria alone. Marlon must be on a break or something.
"Vic!" Andy said urgently, getting his sister's attention. She looked up from where she was peeling potatoes.
"Andy, what are you doing back here? What's wrong?" She asked. She couldn't think of any other reason he would be interrupting her work, so she assumed something bad had happened.
"Nothing. Well, it's not nothing, it's definitely not nothing, it's-"
"Andy, just tell me, you're starting to worry me!" Victoria snapped. Andy took a deep breath. How do you tell your twenty-one year old sister that your long lost fifteen year old sister has just turned up?
"Okay, um, well, do you remember, before she died, Mum had a little girl?" Andy started. Victoria was only about seven when Zoe was born, so she might not even know about her.
"Yeah, Dad put her up for adoption. Her name was Zoe, right?" She asked. It wasn't easy for either of them to talk about their late parents.
"Yeah, um, well, I was walking home from Debbie's after dropping Jack and Sarah off, and I saw this girl get hit by a car-"
"Oh my god, it was our sister, wasn't it?!" Victoria shrieked, already putting the pieces together. Andy nodded. "Is she okay?!"
"She's fine. She's actually here, she wanted to meet her other siblings." Andy said.
"Seriously?!" Victoria's mouth curved into a smile, as she dropped what she was doing and rushed out to the bar. She saw a teenage girl sat at a table in the corner and turned to Andy, "Is that her?"
"Yeah." Andy smiled. Victoria walked over to the table.
"Zoe?" She asked softly. Zoe jumped slightly and looked up.
"Y-yes?" She replied quietly.
"I'm Victoria, your sister." Victoria smiled warmly, taking a seat at the table. Zoe looked at the young woman in a chef's uniform and smiled.
"I've always wanted a sister." She muttered. She then glanced at Andy and as not to make him feel bad, she added, "And a brother."
"I've always wanted a sister too. I was so excited when Andy told me you were here." Victoria said. Zoe smiled softly. Victoria then smiled as she realised, "Is that my top?"
"Oh, uh, yeah, um, Andy said you wouldn't mind." Zoe stuttered, afraid of angering Victoria, "S-sorry if you didn't want me to, uh, wear your clothes."
"No, no, it's fine. They look better on you than they did on me, anyway." Victoria smiled. At that moment, Zoe witnessed a tall man with soft blonde hair enter the pub, as did Victoria, as she called him over, "Robert!"
He looked over and made his way towards his siblings.
"Hey, who's this?" He asked, looking at the young girl. He noticed how she looked a bit like Victoria.
"This is, um, Zoe." Andy said awkwardly. Robert's eyebrows furrowed slightly as he tried to remember where he'd heard that name before. But then it suddenly dawned on him and his eye widened.
"Zoe? As in..." He didn't even have to finish as Andy and Victoria nodded.
"Yep. Robert, this is our youngest sister, Zoe. Zoe, this is our oldest brother, Robert." Victoria gave them a quick introduction.
"Hi." Zoe murmured. Robert smiled slightly.
"Hiya." He replied as he sat down at their table. This felt pretty weird to him.
"I'd better get back to work before Marlon gets back from his break and tells me off." Victoria then said, glancing at her watch, "I'll see you soon, Zoe. Maybe I could take you shopping or something?"
"Uh, okay." Zoe replied timidly. Vic grinned, excited to do all the fun sister things she never got the chance to do. She was only seven when Zoe was put up for adoption, but she still remembers how disappointed she was when she found out she wouldn't be able to keep her little sister.
"I'm going to get a pint. You two want anything?" Andy asked, standing up.
"Uh, I'll have a pint as well please, Andy." Robert said.
"Zoe?" Andy asked the young teen.
"Uh, a water, please, if it's not too much?" She asked shyly.
"Coming right up." Andy smiled, as he walked up to the bar, leaving Zoe and Robert alone.
"I have to admit, it's quite strange seeing you after all these years." Robert said with a light chuckle. Zoe gave him a small smile.
"It's not exactly normal for me either." She said.
"So, how did you end up here?" Robert wondered how she found the small village that, to him and every other person resident, seemed so irrelevant to the rest of the big world.
"I kind of ran away from my foster family to find you guys." She explained awkwardly.
"Did you not like your foster family?" Robert questioned.
"Um, I guess you could say that." She muttered, looking down at the wooden table.
"Is something wrong?" Robert asked in concern, noticing how she closed up all of a sudden.
"My foster father, he... he didn't like me very much." She said quietly.
"What do you mean?" Robert was scared now. What had she been through?
"He hurt me... Emotionally and physically." She mumbled. Usually, she doesn't open up to anyone, but this time, she decided it was different. This was her real family, she felt she could trust them.
Robert just stared at the small girl in shock. Part of him was angry at his deceased father for putting her up for adoption and effectively putting her through this, but the other part of him was telling him to stay calm.
"I'm sorry, I-I shouldn't have dumped that on you." Zoe muttered, standing up, but Robert grabbed her wrist to stop her from walking away.
"No, don't be ridiculous. I'm glad you told me. Look, don't worry, you don't have to go back to him, you can stay here with us." He told her. He had an overwhelming urge to protect her, and he was sure Andy, and probably Victoria as well, felt the same.
"Really?" Zoe's eyes lit up at the thought of never having to face her monster of a foster father again.
