Chapter 5

I woke up with a constant, sharp pain in the front of my head. It was more annoying than painful. Looking around, I noticed that I was back in that horrid red padded room that I had been avoiding for so long. I was chained up, and a pair of empty wrist chains were at the other side if the room.

'Oh god. What have I done?! Derp is free, and I'm stuck in here again! At least he is cuffed.' I thought. After a while, I began to get worried. 'Seto hadn't put the glasses on Derp! What if Derp got out? What if all of the dude's are dead, all because of me?! What if-'

My thoughts were interrupted by the chains on the other side of the room stated to move, and a form began to melt into them. I was frozen in fear as the form lay on the floor. I stared at it, until I realised it was Derp! He soon awoke, and mumbled to himself, rubbing his head, until he saw me, and just stared right back at me.

After a good, long stare-down, I broke the silence and spoke. "D-derp?"

"Ian! Buddy! Long time no see!" Derp responded sqeakily, his voice breaking.

"What am I doing here? Shouldn't I have left this room when you came back?"

"Naw dude. Your friend up there, at first I found his reaction hilarious. He would just stare, but then he began to act all weird. He grabbed a pen and paper and began to either write or draw something, or maybe both, I dunno. I wasn't really paying alot of attention to him, mostly to the stupid handcuffs I was in. Then he looked back at me, and he -"

"What? Derp? What did Seto do?"

"It was really weird dude."

"What!" I yelled. Derp looked away, like he was afraid to tell what happened.

"He... he l-lifted his hand..."

"Aaaannnddd...?"

"He muttered something. At first I didn't pay much attention, mostly just on the cuffs still, but then I saw the light. I looked over at him, and he had this... this red-ish thing floating just above his hand. It had a faint glow to it, pulling me in, yet pushing me out. He looked me straight in the eyes, smiling then chucked it at me, and here I am." His voice was like sandpaper.

"W-wait, what? Do you expect me to believe that Seto is some sort of, sorcerer?!"

"Well, yah, 'cause It's the truth." Derp looked at me with his misdirected, icy blue eyes, trying to convince me of his honesty.

"That's crazy dude. Magic can't be re-AAAAUUURRRGGHHHH!!!"

I didn't have enough time to finish my sentence. I could feel myself being pulled away, out of myself, and back into reality. I was waking up.

"Goodbye, dude." Derp sighed. "It was nice being out, so enjoy it...

...while you can."
