The guys just stared at the scene in shock. After a few seconds, that felt like years, have passed by they used their tired arms to lift their bodies, finally having enough strength to get up. Mafu was looking down at the ground, he didn't want to believe the sight in front of him.

"S-Soraru just got himself k...k-killed......why?!?" Luz shouted desperately.

"H-H-He can just reset right? Right?" Amatsuki said as the others remembered about that.

"But why hasn't he done so already?" Mafu said as he looked at them with a pained expression.

"......."

The guys were silent as they thought about a reason on why the raven-haired hadn't reseted. And he kept telling me not to do anything reckless. Urata thought as he realized why and just sighed.

"If he resets then we'd just go back to the beginning of the torture again. He and Sakata will end up under their control and this all would've been pointless."

"B-B-But....!"

"Urata is right, Soraru probably doesn't want to see us suffer." Kashitaro said as he grabbed his arm to cover a cut.

"And sacrificing himself also got Sorato killed so that his master won't be able to do anything now." Nqrse stated as the guys looked grim.

"W-Was this worth it?" Luz asked as the guys stayed silent.

They didn't know how to feel; happy that they stopped Mafu's granduncle from going back to change everything, sad that they lost two of their friends, angry that Soraru did something reckless for their sake. They just didn't know.

"G-Guess we'll just have to accept this outcome." Shima's voice shook a bit.

"At least now we don't have to suffer anymore." Kashitaro stated, though he began to think that it didn't matter anymore.

He then looked at the short brunette, who was covering his face with his hair as he hung his head low. Sakata was still in his arms.

"Poor Urata...." Senra said as he looked at the male with a sorrow expression.

"I'm sure he's the most hurt out of all of us." Nqrse stated.

"He did see his friend and lover die in front of him, just like how Soraru saw him die." Shima said as he looked at the green eyed brunette in pity.

"And the fact that for a long time Soraru was the only one that could see him." Amatsuki added as the others became distraught.

The guys had solemn expressions on their faces as they looked down at the ground. They just felt empty after what they had been though.

It had been a couple of weeks after the nightmare and torment. It was painful for them when they told the redhead's parents about Sakata's death. They couldn't look at them in the eyes at all.

It was the same for the raven-haired. Luz couldn't face Soraru's parents, he didn't want to see their distraught faces after learning that their son died. Of course the guys didn't exactly say how and made up a small, believable lie.

The green eyed brunette was staying at the albino's house, as he couldn't really return to Soraru or Luz's house. Urata had to stay behind, after all he was still considered dead and he couldn't change back into a ghost without Sakata.

The guys were in school, Mafu looked at the empty seat in front of him. The albino looked back down at his desk. The guys didn't even have the energy to be at school.

As the guys were writing down notes the bell rang signaling that it was now lunch. Mafu got up from his desk as he walked with Senra and Luz to the rooftop.

"Hey guys...." Amatsuki greeted them with a small voice once he saw them approaching.

"Hey." Senra said as he gave them a small smile.

They were trying to act normal like before, but it was hard when you can sense that two people were gone, especially when one of them was energetic.

"Wonder how Urata's been, he hasn't come back to the school yet even though weeks have passed by." Shima said, slightly worried about the short brunette's absence.

"Well, he did lose two people that he so badly cared for," Kashitaro said, "I mean in a way, he's depressed that Soraru and Sakata had left him."

"Maybe we should get him to finally come out, I'm worried he might do something." Senra stated.

"This shouldn't have happened...."

The guys turned their heads to look at the albino, who was hugging his knees. Small tears could be seen in the albino's eyes as he stared at the floor.

"Eh? What do you mean Mafu?" The red eyed brunette asked as the albino buried his face into his arms.

"I should've been the one to die, after all if I died then they wouldn't have been able to use my ability..."

"That's— actually true in a way.....b-but then Soraru would be upset with you dying!" Amatsuki tried to reason with his friend.

Mafu just stayed silent, he had lost all motivation to do anything. Any ounce of cheerfulness in the albino was gone, his mental health was slowly deteriorating more and more as he thought about it.

He wanted nothing more than to shut himself forever, but the others would get worried. I mean Urata's doing the same thing and they're ready to drag him out. The albino just listened to the guys talk as he closed his eyes, he felt like it was his fault that Soraru and Sakata died. If he hadn't met us, he wouldn't have had to suffer.....

A raven-haired male began to slowly open his eyes, they were adjusting to the area. Soraru then quickly sat up as he clenched his stomach, a short pain rushed through him. He let out a small cry before the pain subdued. The raven-haired lifted his head to look at his surroundings. It was pitch black, nothing could be seen around him.

I'm back here? Soraru stood up from the ground as he stared at his hands in confusion. Wait....but I'm suppose to be dead.... He decided to walk around, not having anything to do.

Despite it being quiet and empty, it felt calm, almost relaxing. Unlike last time were he was suffering and crying out for help.

The raven-haired felt like he had walked for hours, and he had seen nothing but pitch blackness. He then noticed something ahead of him. He widened his eyes before going into a sprint towards them.

Soraru got to the person, who was crouched down, hugging their knees. He felt relief when he saw who it was. He reached out to grab their shoulder in concern.

"Sakata?"

The redhead jolted at the touch and smacked the raven-haired's hand away. He was staring at him with wide eyes before seeing that it was Soraru and began to calm down. Sakata then hugged the raven-haired, Soraru could feel the redhead shake in slight fear.

"A-Are you okay?" Soraru asked, not knowing what to say.

Sakata nodded his head before letting go of the hug.

"I-I'm fine," his voice was quivering a bit, "j-just kinda scared of being here. I-I thought that I was here a-alone again."

"Again?" The raven-haired was confused by the redhead's words.

"Remember I said that I kept getting nightmares, well I was always here and...... was always getting tormented."

"So you've had a dream like that too..."

"Too?"

Now it was the redhead's turn to look at the raven-haired in confusion. Soraru simply nodded his head to answer the redhead's question.

"B-But why are we here again?" Sakata asked as he rubbed his arm nervously, "plus....w-w-we died right?"

Soraru just nodded his head again as the redhead let out a small weak laugh. He couldn't really believe the fact that he was dead. G-Guess I should try to accept it.

"Should we look around?" Sakata asked as he looked at the Soraru with a timid expression.

"I-I guess..."

Soraru wasn't even sure what they could possibly do now. They can't go back, at least unless they wanted to go back to being forced to kill their friends. Sakata then noticed that the angel wing tattoo was still on the raven-haired's arm.

"We still have our abilities?" Sakata questioned as he pointed at the raven-haired's tattoo.

Soraru turned his head to look at it, he was surprised and turned back to look at the redhead's tattoo. He then sighed as he responded to him.

"Probably."

"Though there's not much to do here...."

"Let's just walk around and hope we find something."

Soraru turned to walk back but stopped when he felt someone timidly link their arm with his. He looked to see Sakata looking around nervously.

The redhead didn't want to be here, it just made him think about all the nightmares and pain he suffered. He timidly looked at the raven-haired, Sakata didn't want to be left alone and felt more relaxed with someone close to him.

"S-Sorry, I'm just scared..."

Soraru thought the redhead looked like a small, lost puppy. He gave him a sympathetic smile as he began to walk, letting the redhead cling on his arm. It was a cling similar to what a child would do when they didn't want their parents to leave them.

They walked around the area, the only sound being heard were their footsteps and the small talk they had from time to time. The raven-haired then stopped walking, which caused the redhead to bump into him.

Soraru sheepishly apologized to him before looking in front of him. A screen can be seen, the two could see the guys all sitting in class. Soraru felt his heart break when he saw the albino's upset expression.

"They're really upset......" Sakata said as he noticed another screen.

It was showing Urata laying down on the bed in the albino's guest room. The green eyed brunette looked as if he was beginning to give up on life, his eyes were emotionless. Sakata felt himself become distraught at seeing the short brunette look like that.

"These screens show me what is happening in the real world."

Soraru and Sakata jumped at the sudden voice and turned around. A women with long white hair was walking towards them. A couple of pink and red of her hair were dyed. Her red eyes were staring at them with a mother-like warmth to them.

"Pardon me, I didn't mean to scare you. You can call me Akiza." The women said as she gave them a warm smile.

"E-Eh?"

Sakata and Soraru were confused at her calm and peaceful aura. The older women let out a small giggle at their puzzled expressions.

"Mafu sure has made some interesting friends."

The two then saw the white snake tattoo on her neck and realized who it was.

"So your Mafu's grandmother." Sakata said as the older women nodded her head.

"I'm sorry for everything, if I had realized what my brother's plan was before then I could've prevented this."

"It's okay, you didn't know," Sakata said as he gave her a smile, "but I'm curious on knowing why he did all of this?"

"Yeah same here." Soraru said as the medusa's expression changed to sorrow.

"My brother disliked humans. There were more of us back then but humans began to wipe them off. He had a strong grudge and hatred towards them and wanted to kill off every one of them and let our species live."

"So he wanted to use Mafu to go back in time to rule and kill off the humans that wiped your species." Soraru said as Akiza solemnly nodded her head.

"This isn't the first time he did so, he had tried before when we were still alive."

"Wait, he tried to make Mafu reset back then too?" Sakata asked.

"Yep, at first I had the ability and he killed Mafu to make me go back but I refused. I changed fate and gave Mafu the ability so he can live."

"That's why he has that ability." Soraru said as Akiza nodded her head.

"Yes, and then I trapped myself and my brother in this void to stop him, but as you can see he used my own plan against me."

"Wait is he still here?" Sakata asked as he then began to hide behind Soraru, he was traumatized and scared at the male because of everything he went through.

"He's gone now, he only managed to live because he had Sorato to keep him alive. Without him, my brother is completely incapable of doing anything to you guys."

"At least we stopped him before it was too late." Soraru said as he sighed in relief.

"I am grateful for your help, though I do feel guilty for having you to be involved in something that you shouldn't have been."

"It's fine."

Soraru and Sakata looked back at the screens, there were different ones showing the guys. They probably hate me now. But........ I hope you guys are finally happy. Soraru and Sakata smiled to themselves a bit, they were glad that the twisted, rigged game they were forced to play was finally over.

Though......is this really the end....?
