Mafu looked up to see Sorato stare at them blankly. The short raven-haired simply snapped his fingers as the other two males began their usual routine.

"Stop this already!" Mafu cried out as he watched his friends get attacked again.

The albino couldn't do anything except watch each and every one of his friends fall to the ground. Sorato glanced at the albino with a bored look.

"Still not giving up? How boring~"

Mafu's vision began to get blurry as he looked up. The raven-haired was staring at him with cold eyes as his tattoo changed color.

And then it went back.

And so the cycle began again.

And again.......

And again...............

And again...................

Mafu had lost count of how many resets had been made. He lost count of how many times he saw his friends die. He lost count of how many times Sakata and Soraru had killed them.

Mafu didn't even want to look up, he knew the others were okay, for now. The albino just stared at the ground as he listened to the short raven-haired talk.

"You know, I would've thought that you'd give up at some point. Either you're that stubborn or you simply just enjoy seeing them die."

"He's not a fucking sick bastard like you to enjoy other's misery." Urata barked back as he glared at the male.

"How kind of you Urata." Sorato taunted as the green eyed brunette let out a pissed off huff.

"P-Please stop this!" Mafu tried to plead with the short raven-haired, who just shook his head.

"I'm not going to stop until my goal is done."

"Y-Y-You're not bored or tired from all of this?!?" Luz questioned the male.

"Oh trust me I am. But I have a task to complete and I will do so. No matter how long it takes."

"Nothing we've done seems to work at all." Senra said as Kashitaro nodded.

"Yeah, our only best bet would be to get Soraru and Sakata to snap out of their control."

"After all, that bastard is useless and weak without them." Urata stated as the guys looked at the short raven-haired.

"We know we need to get to Sorato but we can't even do so with Soraru and Sakata in the way." Nqrse said.

"And the only way we might be able to is to hurt them." Amatsuki said as he looked at them worriedly.

"We're not going to hurt them." Luz said as he gave the red eyed brunette a narrowed look.

"But what if that's our only option?"

"We can try restraining them. It kinda worked last time." Urata quietly said as the others looked at him with slight hesitation.

"True, as long as they don't have the weapons, we're good." Kashitaro said.

The guys nodded their heads and did the same as before. They were able to pin down Soraru, who couldn't reach the knife that Shima had thrown from his grasp.

Sakata was in an arms lock as his knife had fallen on the floor. Sorato just glared at them as he began to summon spikes, but just like before, Urata tackled him to the ground. The green eyed brunette wrapped his hands around the short raven-haired's throat and tried to strangle him.

"Just. Fucking. Die. Already."

Urata's voice showed no sign of emotion. It was completely cold, almost scaring Sorato, who just glared.

The short raven-haired just glared at Urata as he tried to pry the short brunette's hands off his throat.

Mafu watched the guys, a small bit of hope began to appear in his eyes. C-C-Can we actually stop this? The albino glanced to see Soraru and Sakata still being restrained by the others.

"You're all starting to piss me off." Sorato said between his clenched teeth as he glared at the green eyed brunette that was still trying to strangle him.

The short raven-haired's tattoo changed color, Urata just clicked his tongue in annoyance as he quickly got off the male, avoiding the spike that had appeared. Almost had it.

Sorata coughed as he got up, his tattoo changed color again as spikes appeared all over the ground. The guys just cursed as they moved away. Soraru and Sakata were free from their restraints.

"Just accept your fate and give up!" Sorato shouted in irritation as he glared daggers at them.

A knife appeared in Sakata's hand as Sorato used his ability to summon spikes again. The guys continued to move around, though they would still get hit sometimes.

By now most of the guys were on the floor, not dead but barely conscious. Mafu was on his knees as he tried to plead again.

"Y-Y-Yamete!"

Sorato didn't even bother to listen or make a snide comment, he summoned more spikes, killing the guys instantly. The short raven-haired then snapped his fingers as Soraru reseted time once more.

How much longer did Mafu have to suffer? He had seen his friends die too many times.

Each new reset just made him cry.

Each new reset just made him mentally weak.

Each new reset just made him wish that things were back to normal.

made him start to lose hope.

Mafu couldn't look up anymore, he had enough of seeing his friends die. The albino was covering his face with his hands as he cried.

The guys were all on the floor; bruises, scratches, scars, cuts and wounds can be seen all over their bodies. They weren't dead again, just barely conscious.

Sorato was standing in front of the crying albino. His lip was bleeding as bruises and wounds, caused by Urata, were visible on his face. The male just snickered as he watched the albino cry and cower.

"Pathetic. You can't even save your friends."

"Y...y.....yamete....." Mafu barely got said as he continued to cry.

Urata barely managed to get up, he was limping and holding his arm as he winced at the pain all over his body. The short brunette simply glared at the short raven-haired, not having much strength to say anything.

"Well, you still don't seem to give up. Guess I have to do this."

Sorato summoned a knife in the redhead's hand, he then grinned evilly towards the green eyed brunette. This is going to be interesting. Urata's hard expression slightly faltered at the look.

"I wonder how Urata will feel about this?" The short raven-haired mockingly asked as he snapped his fingers.

Sakata tackled the green eyed brunette and attempted to stab him. Urata stared at the redhead with wide eyes as he could only try to avoid and keep the knife away from him. He was extremely weak at each passing minute.

"How amusing~ you're going to die by the hands of your precious Sakata."

"S-S-Sakata! Cut it out! Listen to me!" Urata pleaded towards the redhead.

Sakata was silent, his eyes void of emotion as he still tried to stab him. The green eyed brunette was trying everything he could to get the redhead to break free from the control.

"P-Please! W-What happened to the naive and innocent idiot that would always annoy me?!"

"......."

"The idiot that still kept smiling even though he was bullied!

Urata winced a bit as the redhead managed to stab his shoulder for a brief second, leaving a small wound.

"........"

"The idiot that didn't even know I existed at all in the beginning!"

"......."

"The idiot that I fell in love with and still care about!"

Sakata lifted the knife to stab the green eyed brunette again. Mafu widened his eyes as he tried to plead, Urata stared at redhead in shock.

The short brunette felt a small wind pass the side of his face as the sound of the knife stabbing the ground was heard. He looked to see the redhead was staring at him, his eyes showed their usual red color as he looked at the short brunette with wide eyes.

"What?!?" Sorato shouted as he stared at the redhead in shock.

"N-No! That's impossible!!"

The redhead began to slouch forward as Urata quickly sat up to catch him. The short brunette struggled to hold the redhead a bit, but still did. Mafu sighed in relief, he was happy that Sakata was finally back.

"S-Sakata! Are you okay?!?" Urata asked as he looked at the redhead in concern.

Sakata could barely keep his eyes open as his head rested on the short brunette's shoulder. The green eyed brunette looked up to glare at the short raven-haired, his arms wrapped around Sakata defensively.

"Tch. How cheesy, for your love to somehow make him break from my master's control." Sorato said in disbelief and disgust.

The short raven-haired then became silent, it looked like he was listening to something, more like someone, before sighing. Sorato crossed his arms behind his head and looked at the males.

"Guess my master decided to stop using them."

He glanced towards the raven-haired, who suddenly fell to the ground. Soraru tried to catch his breath, he was drained of strength.

"S-S-Soraru!" Mafu shouted as the raven-haired laid on the ground.

"They're now weak because of how much my master has overworked them," Sorato stated as he tried to cover his snicker, "they barely have enough energy to stay conscious."

"They're back.....but why?" Urata asked, he was exhausted and his whole body was hurt.

The short brunette still kept his arms wrapped around the redhead, who was going in and out of consciousness.

"My master seems to have gotten bored of using them. After all, you're still not giving up." Sorato said before smiling wickedly.

"But my master just told me that there is one way to make you."

Sorato walked towards the raven-haired, who was trying to get up. The short raven-haired stepped on Soraru's neck, the raven-haired cried out at the force on his throat.

"Let's see how long you last seeing your precious boyfriend get injured."

"S-Stop!" Mafu shouted as he watched Soraru scream in pain.

Urata was about to use his ability to turn into a ghost to help Soraru before noticing that he couldn't. But Sakata's back to normal.

The green eyed brunette looked to see the redhead was slowly closing his eyes. Urata decided to just stay still and hold the redhead.

"Seems like my master's control over him has completely drained his life." Sorato grinned as he looked at the redhead and short brunette. Urata glared daggers at him.

Soraru barely had the strength to fight back, his body was sore and tired from being taken over. Mafu cried out in before finally shouting out desperately.

"Please stop! I don't care anymore!"

The guys all froze as Sorato grinned upon hearing the albino's words. He stopped crushing the raven-haired and walked towards the albino.

"So you finally give in?"

"........yes......I-I'm done with it all."

"M...Mafu.....d.....don't......" Amatsuki tried to say, but he was exhausted.

"M-Mafu...s-stop...." Nqrse managed to croak out.

Soraru weakly looked at the albino, who was hanging his head low, almost in shame. Soraru tried to call out towards the albino but was unable to find his voice.

This is an unfair, twisted game. It was rigged from the very beginning.

Soraru became confused at the sudden voice that appeared in his head.

None of you were suppose to suffer, yet he made you fall right into his trap and become his pieces on a board game. He played you guys as puppets.

But...do you really want to let them win?

Soraru weakly shook his head.

You can end all of this, though...... you or the others may not like the method to do so.

I still want to do it. Soraru said as he tried to use his arms to lift his body up. I don't want him to suffer.

.......very well. I can give you a bit of my strength to do it. But please know, that your friends will not like it. Do you truly wish to do it?

Soraru nodded his head, he then felt himself seem to have enough strength to get up. The raven-haired looked at the albino that was covering his face as Sorato spoke to him.

"So you've decided? And as I thought, it's because of Soraru."

"M-Mafu.... d-don't do....." Shima tried to plead towards the albino, who hung his head low.

"I don't want to see you guys suffer anymore. I don't want to live in a world were I keep seeing you guys die again and again." Mafu said as tears appeared in his eyes.

Sorato chuckled as he grabbed the albino's head and forced him to look at the snake tattoo. Mafu felt himself get stuck in a trance as his barcode tattoo began to disappear.

The guys felt their skin burn as their tattoos began to disappear from their body. Each design appeared one by one on the black snake.

The short raven-haired was grinning in delight, as he was almost done with his task, before getting tackled. The guys' tattoos appeared back on them as the albino snapped out of the trance.

Soraru was wrestling Sorato on the ground in an attempt to pin him down. He saw the knife nearby and reached for it.

"H-How can you still have strength?!? You were suppose to be like Sakata!" Sorato shouted in protest as the raven-haired glared at him.

"And you need to shut up. Permanently."

Sorato tried to keep the knife away from him while he began to use his ability. The raven-haired didn't even bother to try to move.

"S-Soraru get out of there!" Mafu shouted as the raven-haired continued to struggle with the short raven-haired.

"S-Sorry Mafu.....I guess I did a terrible job protecting you. But I won't fail this time, promise me that you'll accept my decision." Soraru weakly said as he glanced at the albino and gave him one more smile.

Mafu was confused by the raven-haired's words before widening his eyes at the scene. The albino cried out the raven-haired's name as tears fell out of his eyes.

A spike had appeared behind the two males and pierced Soraru, but also piercing the short raven-haired. The male widened his eyes in shock, n-no...I was suppose to win!

The short raven-haired's arms, that were trying to stop the knife, fell to the ground. The guys looked to see Soraru slouch forward.

"S-Soraru?!?" Mafu and Urata cried out as the others stared in shock.

"W-Why?!?" Luz managed to say as tears appeared in his eyes, n-no that's not true!

Urata then noticed that both of the male's tattoo were fading. The green eyed brunette just stared at his friend's cold, limp body. H-He's dead.

Urata then widened his eyes as he noticed that the redhead's tattoo had faded away too. N-N-No....!

The guys just stayed silent as they tried to process everything. They couldn't believe it, the one that constantly tried to save them, their friend, the one that had won the albino's heart....

had sacrificed himself to save them..........and was now dead.
