Soraru just watched his friends joke around in amusement. They were at the albino's house to study for exams, but the guys were distracted and so far there has been zero studying. The raven-haired sighed as he ignored the guy's ruckus and looked at his notes. Sakata was also trying to study, he actually wanted to do good on the exams this time.

"Soraru how do you do this again?" Sakata asked the raven-haired as he pointed to a math problem in his notebook.

"Eh? Oh this, well you would.."

Soraru then began to show the redhead what to do to solve the problem. Sakata beamed once he began to understand it and smiled at the raven-haired.

"Thanks Soraru~"

The raven-haired just nodded his head before noticing that Urata was looking at him annoyed. Soraru chuckled as he gave the green eyed brunette a smirk.

"Someone's jealous."

"No I'm not." Urata said as he crossed his arm before going back to looking at his book.

Sakata giggled at the green eyed brunette's pouting face. The short brunette glanced up a bit from his book to look at the redhead. He sighed as a faint smile crossed his face. What an idiot. An adorable idiot.

"So are you guys going to study?" Soraru asked as he looked at the others.

"We'll be fine~" Luz said playfully, making the raven-haired look at him unamused.

"You say that now but then you'll be whining about how you didn't do that good."

"Fine we'll study." Mafu said as be grabbed his notebook.

Senra was reaching to grab his notebook until his hand brushed against Urata, who was sitting next to him. The blonde slightly flinched as a memory appeared. He sighed in relief as the memory was just Urata poking the redhead that was asleep when he was still just a ghost.

Senra was cautious around the guys and he tried to keep a distance between them. He didn't want to touch someone and suddenly see a painful memory. He mostly avoided being near Soraru, seeing as the raven-haired had seen and been through a lot. Soraru has suffered through so much, yet he still seems to look calm. Senra could only watch the raven-haired in pity as he talk to the others.

"Hey, what time are we meeting each other at the fireworks festival?" Amatsuki asked the guys.

"They start at like 6 right?" Shima said as he looked at them for confirmation.

"Yep, we can meet up at around 4:30 so that we have about an hour to walk around the stands." Nqrse suggested, the rest of the guys nodded their heads in agreement.

"Ah~ this is going to be fun~" Sakata said eagerly with a grin on his face.

How stupid and naive. Sorato playfully thought as he smiled. The short raven-haired's smile turned into a grin as he stared at the redhead and green eyed brunette. They sure are something special, I can tell that those two will be interesting to watch when it comes to that. He giggled to himself as he placed his elbows on the table and rested his head in his hand.

"You're so energetic Sakata." Sorato stated as the redhead sheepishly smiled.

"I just like going to festivals."

"Are you even more happy that you're going to one with Urata? It'll be like a date~"

Sakata blushed at the short raven-haired's comment as he looked away and played with the hem of his uniform. Sorato found the action amusing, he really is naive.

"N-No it w-won't s-since we're a-all going walk around t-together."

"Who said we would? We might split into pairs~"

"Oi, quit teasing him." Urata said as he glared at the short raven-haired, who pouted.

"But it's fun to do so~"

"It's annoying."

"You find everything annoying." Sorato crossed his arms as he gave the short brunette an amused look.

"Only when it comes to you." Urata barked back as he glared at the short raven-haired.

The others watched the two short males bicker back and forth. A small sigh escaped Sakata's mouth, he knew this would be a bad idea. The redhead just stared at the two males in slight exhaustion. He then poked the green eyed brunette's side, making Urata jolt at the sudden jab.

"Oi. What was that for?!" Urata pinched the redhead's cheek, completely forgetting about his bickering with Sorato.

"O-Ow, s-swop." Sakata pleaded as he whined at the pain.

The green eyed brunette continued to pull the redhead's cheek until he felt himself get smacked on the head. Sakata was rubbing his cheek with a small pout on his face. Urata had removed his hand from the redhead's cheek as he moved it to rub his head. The short brunette just glared at the person that had smacked him.

"Oi!"

"Quit bickering, it's giving me a headache." Soraru said as he crossed his arm.

The short brunette just stuck his tongue out as he let out a huff. The raven-haired rolled his eyes before going back to looking at his notebook. The others followed the raven-haired's action and began to study. Sakata would occasionally ask the green eyed brunette about a problem. Urata would reject at first before giving in and helping the redhead, courtesy of Sakata's puppy eyes that the short brunette just couldn't say no to.

"So we're going to wear yukatas?" Mafu asked as the thought crossed his mind. A small blush was faintly visible on his face as he thought about the raven-haired in a yukata.

"Yep~ it'll make it seem even better if we dress up." Amatsuki said as he grinned.

"But first we have to get through exams." Senra stated, not removing his eyes from his notebook.

"Ah~ Senra let us enjoy looking forward to it~" Shima playfully said as the blonde shook his head.

"Just focus on studying."

"But that's boring~"

"Senra is right though, if you guys just think about the festival then you'll just lose focus and do bad." Kashitaro pointed out, the blonde nodded his head in agreement.

"Fine we'll go back to studying." Luz said in defeat.

The guys spent the rest of their time looking over notes and helping one another study. Mafu glanced up to see the raven-haired write down in his notebook. A small strand of hair fell on Soraru's face and the albino unconsciously reached to move the hair. Mafu's hand lightly brushed the raven-haired's forehead, making Soraru stop writing to stare at the albino.

Mafu blushed once he noticed what he did and swiftly retracted his hand as he quickly turned his attention back to his book. The raven-haired just chuckled at Mafu's blushing face, the albino felt himself blush even more as he heard the raven-haired's laugh. Sorato was watching the two males with his head titled to the side. So they also seem close together, how intriguing. This'll be worth watching. The short raven-haired had a huge grin on his face as he went back to studying.

The guys were on the roof eating lunch just like usual. The July summer sun was shining down on them as the clear, blue sky loomed above them. It was the last day for exams, the guys found it a bit easier since they studied, but two certain males were whining. Luz and Amatsuki were complaining about how they got confused on some problems.

"Maybe if you actually studied then you wouldn't be like this." Soraru said as he looked at the two with a judging look.

"We did~" Luz replied as Nqrse shook his head.

"Looking at the same page for ten minutes isn't studying."

The light haired male sheepishly laughed as he looked away to avoid the pink haired male's gaze. Amatsuki tried to think of an excuse to defend himself but nothing came into mind. The red eyed brunette just sighed as he sheepishly smiled.

"We still have one more after lunch," Kashitaro said as he looked at the two, "better hope it's something you remember."

"Tomorrow's the festival so we should make sure we finish any schoolwork beforehand." Senra stated as Urata nodded.

"Yeah, or else we'll end up rushing." Urata said as he looked at one particular person. Said person let out a small protest.

"Hey! Why are you looking at me?!" Sakata shouted as the green eyed brunette rolled his eyes.

"Who's the one that would sometimes play games instead of doing work?"

"B-But Soraru does that too!"

"Oi, don't drag me into your lover's quarrel." The raven-haired said as the two males blushed.

"We're not arguing!"
"It's not a lover's quarrel!"

"Www you guys are embarrassed, how cute~" Mafu said as he giggled at the males' red faces.

"Oi, Mafu. Yamete."

"Oh no, Urata's mad at me." Mafu playfully replied as he ignored the threatening tone in the short brunette's voice.

The lunch bell rang, interrupting their playful banter as students began to get up. The guys all headed back to their classes, two of them were trudging their feet as they didn't want to go back and do the exams. The rest of the day went by quick as it was soon after school. Soraru was walking back home with Urata floating besides him. The green eyed brunette turned back to a ghost after they parted ways with the redhead.

"So are you going to do anything about your feelings for Mafu?"

"What do you mean?"

"Well~ he confessed to Luz but the two don't seem to be acting different at all. Soo, Luz probably rejected him."

"And? So what?"

"Soo~ you can try to confess to him."

"I don't think that'd be a good idea."

"Eh? Why not?" Urata looked at the raven-haired in confusion.

"I can reset time, so after resetting a bunch of times I'll eventually get bored of doing the same things over and over again. Like having feelings for him."

"But even if you do, which you definitely won't, Mafu wouldn't remember any of it so you wouldn't have to feel bad."

"That's exactly why, I would continue on with my life knowing that he has feelings for me while mine are gone after a couple of resets."

"But—"

"That would just make me carry the burden of knowing that he likes me but I'm just rejecting him because I got bored of dating him."

"Soraru, yamete. Stop being so pessimistic and just be fucking happy for once." Urata said in an irritated tone.

"I'm fine with the way things are now."

Urata just stared at Soraru in disappointment. Your ability is just making you lose interest in actually trying. The green eyed brunette sighed and decided to switch to another topic.

"Are we going to check the book?" Urata asked as he looked at the raven-haired in uncertainty.

"Yeah...."

The two made it back to the raven-haired's house. Soraru was greeted by silence as his parents were still at work. The raven-haired went towards his room and plopped his schoolbag on his desk before walking towards the shelf to get the book. He just stared at the cover of the book, not wanting to flip the page. He didn't want to see the design and feel the dread of his friends dying.

"Only Mafu and Kashi are left. Now the question is just which one is next?"

Soraru sighed as he flipped the book open, he saw that the page before Shima's tattoo was still blank. There has to be a reason for that. He flipped the pages, along the way he saw the story relating to Senra's death. Once he got to the next design, Soraru and Urata just stared at it with an expressionless face.

The stars on the page looked as if they were shining bright.
