Urata was walking to the gym with Sakata and Shima. Today was the volleyball tournament, and the students had to change into their gym uniforms even if they aren't playing. Urata was watching the redhead talk with the purple-haired male. No matter what, he's always energetic. The green eyed brunette was too busy looking at the redhead in amusement that he didn't see where he was going.

Urata then bumped into someone and glared at them for getting in his way. The short brunette's glare became even harsher when he realized who it was. Sorato was rubbing his head before glaring back at the green eyed brunette.

"Oi, look where you're going bastard."

"Same can be said to you, tanuki."

"Oi."

Urata was ticked off at the comment and was about to smack the short raven-haired when he heard Sakata call out to him.

"Hey Urata— Oh, Sorato."

Sakata noticed the other shorter male's presence and awkwardly smiled. Sorato stopped glaring at the short brunette and turned to face the redhead.

"Hey Sakata." The short raven-haired said as he smiled.

"You're going to the gym right?" Shima asked, he noticed that the male was going towards the opposite direction.

"A teacher wanted me to take this form back to the faculty room." Sorato said as he showed the paper.

"Well bye then." Urata said as he grabbed Sakata's hand and walked towards the gym.

Shima just awkwardly waved goodbye to the short raven-haired before following the short brunette. Sorato frowned before sighing, he looked at he redhead that was talking to the green eyed brunette. Sakata felt someone's gaze and slightly turned his head back. Red eyes meet emerald eyes as the redhead stared at the short raven-haired in confusion. Sakata then snapped out of his staring as he heard Urata call out to him. Sorato just chuckled as he watched the three leave, they sure are interesting.

The guys were sitting on the side as they watched students go against the teachers. The students were behind by a few points as the game was slowly getting towards the end. Sakata was bored and decided to use his ability for a bit.

Hey doesn't he look cute?
These guys suck.
Can they just bump the ball correctly?
That spike was pretty cool.
Looks like the teachers are going to win this year again.
I wish I could see Shima and Soraru play.
Wonder if Sakata is capable of playing?

The redhead sighed as he stopped using his ability. He kinda found his ability boring, but also liked it. Though he sometimes felt that he was invading people's privacy. Sakata then glanced towards the short raven-haired male on the other side of the gym and decided to try to use his ability on him.

Well guess our class is going to lose.

Sakata pouted before sighing, he didn't really know why he expected his thoughts to be interesting. Sorato noticed someone's gaze and turned his head to look at the redhead. The two were lock in a staring contest before Sakata turned away. Sorato chuckled at the redhead's embarrassment before turning back to focus on the game.

Urata glanced at the redhead that seemed to be in a daze. The green eyed brunette pinched Sakata's cheek, making the redhead snap back into reality and wince at the pain.

"S-Swop."

"Quit zoning out."

Sakata rubbed his cheek as he pouted at the short brunette. Urata smirked as he pinched the redhead's cheek again.

"O-Ow, y-yamete!"

"Wwww, fatty."

"H-Hey!"

The two were off in their own world while the others were watching the game. Senra then noticed that one of the students seemed to land badly on their ankle after spiking the ball. The game halted as teachers and other students went to help the student up. Someone took them to the infirmary while others talked among one another about the incident.

"That looked painful." Amatsuki commented as he winced at how the person landed.

"Are they going to continue the game?" Mafu asked as the others shrugged.

"They need another player." Luz said as the teachers and students were asking if anyone wanted to join.

"No one is bothering to join." Kashitaro stated as he saw students look the other way.

"Cause they don't want to embarrass themselves with their terrible skills." Urata pointed out as he sighed, they're probably going to ask us.

And the green eyed brunette was right, because some students walked to their side to asked others. A girl walked towards Shima.

"Hey Shima can you join the game for us?"

"Eh?" The purple-haired was hesitant in replying.

"Please?" The girl begged as she looked at him with a pleading expression.

"Sure." Shima said, not wanting to disappoint the girl.

"Www Shima is so kind to girls~ Senra you should look out, someone might try to take him from you." Luz teased the blonde, who pushed him away.

"Shut up Luz."

"Www."

The guys watched Shima, who was doing pretty decent. Senra noticed that Sorato was staring at the purple-haired in amusement. Soraru sighed in relief knowing that the purple-haired wasn't using his ability to gain an advantage.

At one point the ball was heading towards Shima but the purple-haired seemed to just stand there. He snapped out of his dazed state and quickly tried to hit the ball. He managed to bump it back but the impact on his arm was painful, making the purple-haired wince a bit. Senra looked at him worriedly while the others became concerned.

"Don't strain yourself." Sakata said, the purple-haired looked at the redhead before smiling.

The game was over, the teachers won by two points as the students all sighed in defeat. Shima walked back to them, rubbing his arm.

"Are you okay?" Senra asked in concern as the purple-haired nodded his head.

"I'm good."

"How did you even get hit?" Mafu asked as Shima shrugged.

"I don't know, I guess I just wasn't paying attention somehow."

"Should you at least get an ice pack in case it bruises?" The blonde asked Shima grinned.

"I'm fine Senra, don't worry so much."

"Www of course he would, Senra is a caring boyfriend~" Urata teased as the blonde blushed.

Other games were going on, the guys were just watching the teams play, not really interested. Mafu glanced at the raven-haired that was talking with Nqrse. The albino quickly moved his gaze as he felt his face heat up. Luz noticed this and chuckled as he poked the albino.

"Are you now self-conscious around Soraru~?"

"Luz, yamete."

"Www you'll be fine."

"How would you know?"

"Because I know that he likes you back~"

"E-Eh?!"

Mafu blushed as he stared at the light haired male in shock. The others heard the albino scream and looked at him.

"Is everything okay Mafu?" Kashitaro asked as the albino fiercely nodded his head.

The albino then meet the raven-haired's eyes, who rose his eyebrow, before quickly looking away. Soraru blinked before chuckling to himself, cute.

The school day went on by as the game took up most of the day. Mafu would sometimes unconsciously stare at the raven-haired during the school day, when he caught himself doing so he'd blush and look away. Sorato glanced at the guys and smiled as his eyes landed on the redhead. How naive and cute. The short raven-haired grinned as he went back to watching the game.

Soraru and the others were by the gates waiting for the remaining guys. Soraru felt a small chill flow through him as he waited. After awhile, Urata arrived with Sakata and Shima.

"We're all here, let's go." Kashitaro said as they began to walk home.

The guys were talking about the fireworks festival during the walk, Sakata was excited and couldn't wait for it. Urata chuckled at the redhead's eagerness, like a small puppy.

"Hey!" Sakata glared at the green eyed brunette, who was annoyed and pinched the redhead's cheek.

"Oi. Don't use your ability on me."

"O-Ow." Sakata let out a small whine as the others tolled their eyes at the two male's usual selves.

"Www, are you afraid he'll hear your thoughts? What are you hiding Urata~?" Luz teasingly said as the short brunette glared at him.

"He probably doesn't want Sakata to hear him gush about him~" Amatsuki joined the teasing.

Urata just glared at them before crossing his arms in annoyance. Sakata was blushing and used his hands to cover his face. Luz felt himself bump into someone and looked down to see that it was Sorato.

"Sorry, didn't see you Sorato."

"I get that a lot." The short raven-haired said as he sighed. He raised his head to look at the taller male for a few seconds before beginning to walk again.

"Well, my sister wants me to buy her something at the store so see ya guys tomorrow."

The others watched him leave before walking again. They were chatting until they noticed that construction equipment were in the area. Soraru looked up to see a crane, he widened his eyes in fear.

"Should we find another way?" Luz said, he was scared of walking by construction sites after being told about his own death.

"Yeah," Mafu said before looking around in confusion, "wait, we'd have to walk back to go the other way."

"That would take longer." Amatsuki said as he sighed.

"People are walking there." Nqrse stated as he saw people walk by the crane without worry.

"So it's probably okay right?" Kashitaro asked with slight uncertainty in his voice.

"Yeah, I mean the crane isn't on." Sakata said as he saw that no one was in the crane, so it won't move.

"I have a bad feeling." Urata mumbled, the raven-haired heard and nodded.

The guys were uncertain about walking there, Soraru then sighed as he turned around. The others turned their heads to look at the raven-haired.

"I'll take the long way, better safe than sorry."

"That might be the best idea." Mafu said as he began to follow the raven-haired.

Suddenly, the guys heard screams from people around them and the sound of something moving. Soraru looked up to see the crane drop the beams it was holding. The raven-haired widened his eyes as he grabbed the albino's arm and pulled him. The guys all moved to avoid them but saw that the beams didn't hit the ground. They turned to look before staring at someone in shock. Soraru looked to see Shima raising his hands in the air as he used his ability to stop the beams.

"S-Shima...?" Kashitaro asked in confusion at how the purple-haired was stopping the beams.

"Oi! What are you doing!?" Urata barked as he looked at Shima, he was a bit angry at how the purple-haired just recklessly used his ability.

"H-How are you doing that?" Mafu asked as he looked at the purple-haired with wide eyes.

Shima was trying his best to not let go of the beams, ignoring the confusing and slightly scared stares of the others.

"You fucking idiot! Why did you just use your ability?!" Urata gave the purple-haired a scolding look before his expression turned to pity as he heard Shima's explanation.

"I know they're destined to die eventually but I want to at least try saving them for once." Shima said as he looked at them tiredly.

"Shima..." The raven-haired saw the purple-haired male glance at the blonde.

Shima felt his arms begin to give up and as the pain from the volleyball game began to appear again. He felt the sharp, unbearable pain and lost control of his ability for a bit. That small mistake was enough to make the beams fall as the guys quickly moved.

People screamed as the beams hit the ground. Dust filled the area, Soraru was coughing as he waited for the dust to clear. He widened his eyes and quickly looked around the area for the others. The raven-haired then stared at the scene, Sakata was on his knees as he stared at Senra's body under the beams.

"S-Senra..."

The redhead could barely find his voice as he tried to blink away the tears. He looked down at his hands before using them to cover his face. Soraru turned his head around and widened his eyes, he saw the others were all on the ground. T-This shouldn't be happening. Soraru then saw Mafu, Kashitaro, and Shima get up.

"A-Are you guys—.....Senra, n-no..." Mafu looked at the blonde's crushed body before looking at the others.

"The others are...."

Kashitaro looked to see the red eyed brunette that was unconscious, a small trace of blood on his head. Shima just looked down at the ground, unable to look at the blonde's body. Mafu let tears fall out of his eyes as he saw all his friends lay on the ground lifeless.

"Soraru."

The raven-haired turned to look at the green eyed brunette. Urata just stared at the others before looking at the distraught redhead.

"It's time for another reset."

"Yeah, at least you had no problem escaping the beams."

"Barely."

"Eh?"

"I wasn't able to turn into a ghost until last minute for some reason."

Soraru stared at the short brunette in confusion, how and why? The raven-haired then heard Kashitaro talk to the purple-haired.

"What was that Shima?"

"......"

The purple-haired didn't respond, making the brunette look at him in pity. Mafu blinked the tears away and spoke to the male.

"How did you even do that?"

"......"

"Guys, we probably shouldn't ask him about that now." Sakata said as he rubbed his eyes to wipe the tears away.

Shima turned to look at the raven-haired with an exhausted look in his eyes. Soraru just sighed as he knew what the purple-haired meant. The angel wing on his arm turned white as the raven-haired held his head at the pain that was beginning to appear. His eyes began to close and he glanced at the albino that was looking at him with wide eyes. Then everything went black.
