Chapter 37
Soraru and Urata were in the raven-haired's room. The green eyed brunette was looking out of the window while the raven-haired was laying down on his bed looking at the ceiling. The room was silent, the sky was getting darker and darker as stars began to appear. Urata let out a long sigh before looking at the raven-haired.
"So are we going to talk about the trip?"
Soraru tensed up at the mention of the trip, the green eyed brunette looked at him in pity. Fate sure loves to toy with us and make us suffer. The raven-haired was silent for a few more seconds until he sighed.
"What else is there to say, we're not going."
"Eh?"
"Going there will just bring back bad memories."
"Well.....yeah."
Soraru looked at the green eyed brunette, of course it just had to be there. The raven-haired sighed as he got up to grab the trip form. The words 'Miyagi prefecture' was written on the top. Soraru noticed that his phone lit up and saw that he got a text from Luz.
Luz: are you okay
"Luz is also worried about you."
Urata had floated so that he was next to the raven-haired. Soraru smiled at the text before typing to reply back.
Soraru: im fine
Soraru: thanks
The raven-haired looked back at the form, it's even on the same date. Soraru laughed bitterly at how he always kept getting reminded of that day.
"Funny, you moved for a reason and now you have to go back."
"Yeah it's so great." Soraru said sarcastically as he looked at the green eyed brunette.
"You can't go, for obvious reasons."
"It happened like seven years ago I doubt anyone would remember."
"Urata it was a small town, everyone knew everyone. Nothing bad ever happened so your death was all over the news."
"......"
Urata was silent as the raven-haired looked at him. The green eyed brunette cringed at the memory of his death. Me going as a human will definitely raise a lot of questions. And the people will get scared at seeing a supposed to be dead kid. Urata knew for sure that he wasn't going but didn't know about Soraru.
The green eyed brunette looked at the raven-haired, he knew that Soraru still hasn't gotten over the incident. He could tell that Soraru probably doesn't want to go as it would just remind him over and over. Urata thought for a bit before glancing at the raven-haired's phone. He noticed the group chat with the others.
"I think you should go."
"Eh?"
"The others will get worried if the both of us don't go. Plus you'll have the others this time."
"True...."
"I'll be fine, I'll just go with you guys as a ghost."
"You sure?"
The raven-haired looked at his friend in concern, Urata smiled as his looked at Soraru with warm eyes.
"I mean we need to find a way to get over those memories so try making new ones with the others there~"
Soraru just playfully rolled his eyes before chuckling. He headed downstairs, with Urata following, as he walked into the kitchen to find his mom.
"Hey mom, is it okay for me to go on the trip?"
"That's fine." She said as she smiled at the raven-haired.
Soraru handed her the form to sign, once his mother saw the destination her expression became a bit tensed. She looked at the raven-haired in concern.
"Are you sure you want to go back there?"
"Yeah it's fine. I have the others now."
Soraru smiled at his mother, she could tell that the raven-haired was still a bit nervous going back to his old hometown. But seeing Soraru attempting to face his trauma made her become happy.
"You sure have grown since when you were younger."
His mother hugged the raven-haired, who was protesting a bit, before smiling at him. Urata found the sight heartwarming and chuckled at Soraru's slight annoyed expression. He looks annoyed but I bet he's probably happy.
"I'll show your father and we'll sign it once I'm done cooking dinner."
"Okay."
Soraru walked back up to his room, Urata was thinking about what to tell the others at school tomorrow. He needed a believable lie so that they wouldn't question him not going.
"Just say you have to visit family for an emergency on that day."
"That's probably the best lie, let's hope they don't question me about it."
"I'm sure Luz will help you lie, after all he knows about the situation a bit more than the others."
"Yep~"
Soraru smiled at the green eyed brunette before his eyes landed on the book on his shelf. The raven-haired grabbed the book to look at the next tattoo.
"It's a rose right? Wonder who it'll be?"
"Well whoever it is, we just know that it's one of the four."
Soraru closed the book and put it back. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

The guys were at lunch, talking about the trip. Sorato had joined them again, mostly because of the albino. Soraru and Urata were silently eating their lunch, Luz would sometimes glance at them.
"You guys filled out the form right?" Amatsuki asked them. Luz looked at the raven-haired and green eyed brunette with concerned eyes.
"Yep~" Mafu said as he took another bite of his lunch.
"So we're all going." Shima said as he grinned.
"I'm not going."
The guys looked at the green eyed brunette, who was still eating and not looking at them. Luz felt bad for Urata and Soraru. They shouldn't have to suffer like this on a trip.
"Eh? Why not?" Sakata asked, he was a bit upset that the short brunette wasn't going.
"I'm busy that day."
"With what?" Sorato asked.
Urata glared at the short raven-haired. Nothing that concerns you. Sakata was confused by the green eyed brunette's hostile tone in his thought.
"I have some family issues so I need to go visit them those days."
"Oh."
Senra nodded his head as the others smiled in understanding at the short brunette's excuse and went back to talking with one another.
"That's a lie right?"
Soraru and Urata turned to look at Nqrse. The pink haired male could tell that it was for another reason. Urata gave him an annoyed look.
"Oi shut up."
"Urata, I think you should at least tell the others about it." Luz said as he looked at the green eyed brunette.
"Tell us what?"
Sakata had joined the conversation, Amatsuki was also curious on what the light haired male meant. Urata sighed as he glared at Luz, who gave him a look that said 'just tell them'.
"No way."
"Urata."
Mafu noticed that the others were silent and decided to glance towards the raven-haired. The albino saw that Soraru seemed slightly tensed as the others looked at him in concern.
"Are you okay Soraru?"
The albino's voice snapped the raven-haired out of his tensed state. He looked at the albino in confusion.
"Eh? Yeah, why?"
"You seemed tensed while we talked about the trip."
"Oh, that..."
Soraru's voice trailed off, he glanced at the green eyed brunette. Urata had crossed his arms in annoyance at the other's constant questioning.
"Hey Soraru at least tell them."
Soraru turned to face Luz, who was looking at him. The raven-haired sighed, better to tell them at least some things.
"Rifu was my hometown, the place I lived in before I moved here."
Once the raven-haired's words left his mouth, three of the guys widened their eyes and looked at him in shock and concern.
"Soraru...."
"Really? That's a coincidence." Shima said.
Yeah, a great coincidence, Soraru sarcastically thought as he glared at the ground. Sakata felt bad for the raven-haired, he also felt bad for Urata.
"Is Urata still going in the trip with us but just as a ghost?" Nqrse asked as the green eyed brunette nodded.
"Yep~ you can't escape me~"
"That sounded ominous."
"Wwww."
"But why do you look a bit upset, wouldn't you be normally happy to visit your hometown?" Mafu asked.
The raven-haired tensed up, the others don't know so of course they'd be confused. Soraru sighed as he looked at them. He was debating on whether he should tell them.
"I just...have some bad memories there."
"Correction, traumatic memories there."
Soraru gave the green eyed brunette an annoyed look before rolling his eyes. The others looked at the raven-haired with a pitiful expression.
"Ah, I see." Kashitaro said as he smiled at the raven-haired. Soraru felt happy from the gesture and smiled back.
"What kind of bad memories?" Sorato asked as the others looked at him.
Urata glared at the short raven-haired while Soraru gave him a deadpanned expression.
"Why do you want to know?" Soraru defensively said.
"Just curious."
"Oi. Don't butt into people's personal lives." Urata said in a harsh tone.
"Eh~ But Mafu does that so why can't I?"
The albino let out a small shout in protest as Sorato continued to push the topic.
"Cause we at least have known Mafu for a year. We just barely met you so why should we tell you?"
"But I'm your friend~"
Soraru watched Sorato continue to push Urata's button. The green eyed brunette was glaring at the short raven-haired with full malice. The raven-haired could tell that Urata was about to snap.
"Oi, Urata—"
Soraru tried to calm down the short brunette but stopped mid sentence when he saw Urata glare at him.
"Stay out Soraru."
The guys noticed the slight hostile aura beginning to surround the green eyed brunette and became worried.
"Hey Sorato maybe you should—" Amatsuki said but was cut off when the short raven-haired spoke again.
"You seem a bit defensive about this even though it has nothing to do with you."
That statement was enough to make Urata begin to lose all control of himself. The green eyed brunette was about to get up and punch the short raven-haired. Soraru and Sakata immediately reacted to stop him. The redhead hugged the green eyed brunette in an attempt to calm him down.
"U-Urata calm down."
The green eyed brunette turned to look at the redhead, Sakata flinched a bit at the short brunette's glare. Urata saw the redhead flinch and felt guilty, soon his anger subdued. He crossed his arms and looked away from them. Sakata let go of the hug once he felt that the green eyed brunette had calmed down.
Soraru glanced at Sorato, who seemed frown but Soraru thought he saw him smirking. Wait what? The raven-haired did a double take but when he did, he saw that Sorato was frowning. What was that?
The lunch bell rang, Urata was the first to get up and quickly walked away to his class.
"Ah, seems like I was a bit rude. I'm sorry." Sorato said as he looked down at the ground in shame.
"He'll probably get over it........eventually." Luz said.
Sakata watched the green eyed brunette leave before getting up from his spot to catch up with him.
"U-Urata wait up."
Soraru was relieved that Sakata decided to go after Urata. He needs someone to keep him calm. Soraru sighed as the others walked back to their class. The two had gone through a lot so he wasn't that Urata would use his poison tongue towards Sorato. He knew that the green eyed brunette was getting defensive for his sake.
Soraru glanced at the three guys walking ahead of him. I'm grateful to have these guys. Soraru smiled to himself as he walked with them to class. He was still dreading the school trip, but he was also looking forward to it a bit.
