Soraru continued to watch the albino, who was still seemed to be frozen. He was beginning to wonder when the albino would decide to move. After watching Mafu stare at the ground for a few more seconds, Soraru sighed as he had enough. He tapped the albino's head.

"Oi, are you going to stand here all day?"

"E-Eh?" Mafu stuttered as he snapped out of his frozen state.

"I feel bad for your cats, they have a terrible owner to make them starve."

"Hey! I'm a great owner."

"An owner that forgets that they're buying their cats food."

Mafu reluctantly closed his mouth as he had nothing to retort back. The albino pouted as he began to walk.

"Soraru is always mean to me~"

The raven-haired rolled his eyes, he was deciding on whether he should go with the albino or just catch up with Urata and Sakata. Even if I leave Mafu, Urata will find a way to make me come back. Soraru let out a small sigh as he followed the albino to the store. I'm going to kill Urata when I see him later.

Mafu noticed that the raven-haired was walking by his side. He was kinda happy that he wasn't going alone, the albino would get a bit nervous going out. The albino then decided to ask the raven-haired about his feelings for Luz.

"Hey Soraru," the raven-haired turned his gaze towards the albino that was speaking, "do you think I can confess to Luz sometime this year?"

Soraru tensed up at the question. He didn't know what to say, should I tell him about Nqrse? The raven-haired didn't want to make the albino worried but he also didn't want Mafu to find out on his own. Soraru then realized something. My reset ability..... After a few more seconds of thinking, the raven-haired finally decided. If things don't play out well then I'll just reset time and not tell him.

"Actually Mafu,"

"Hm?"

"About Luz,"

The albino was confused by the raven-haired's sudden hesitation. Mafu began to worry about the worst scenario. Does Soraru actually like Luz?

"Nqrse also likes....."

Soraru's voice trailed off but that was enough to make the albino understand what he was trying to say. Mafu widened his eyes a bit before looking at the ground. Soraru felt like he had kicked an innocent puppy, the guilt was starting to eat him up and he was about ready to reset until he saw the albino look up at him with determined eyes.

"That's okay! Nqrse hasn't confessed yet so I still have a chance." Mafu said confidently to reassure the raven-haired, but it was mostly to reassure himself.

Soraru was also going to tell him about Luz liking Nqrse back, but the albino's determined eyes caused him to not. He felt a pang of guilt hit his heart as he looked at the albino. The raven-haired didn't know what to say to the albino, he was kinda rooting for Nqrse to confess first, but he felt bad for doing that. I'm sorry Mafu. Soraru was silent for a few more seconds before smiling at the albino.

"Good luck."

The raven-haired ruffled the albino's head. Mafu pouted in annoyance before it changed into cheerfulness. They made it to the store, Mafu was looking for the cat food while Soraru was just looking around the store. The albino found what he needed and went to pay for it. They left the store and walked towards the albino's house.

The sun was shining bright in the clear, blue sky. Soraru looked around the see children run around the town. He quickly looked away and turned his gaze towards the ground. The scene was nostalgic, but not in a good way. The raven-haired shook his head to get rid of the thought that was about to creep into his mind. When he looked up again he noticed that they had made it to the albino's house.

"Well you're back home, guess I'll see ya—"

"Eh? You don't want to stay a bit?" Mafu asked the raven-haired, who stopped walking. Soraru turned his head to look at the albino behind him.

"I don't think it's ok—"

"Oh Soraru you're here."

Akimasa had opened the door to walk out when he noticed the raven-haired. Soraru turned his body so he was facing the older male.

"Hi sensei."

"You're going to work?" Mafu asked his dad.

"Yeah, something came up so I'll be gone for a bit."

"Okay bye dad."

Mafu smiled at his father as he entered his house to give Iroha and Potato their food. Akimasa smiled at the albino before turning to face the raven-haired.

"Has anything happened so far?"

Soraru shook his head before remembering about the book.

"Actually, one of the pages between Urata's tattoo and the next one was blank."

"Is that so?"

"So does that mean that it relates to the next design?"

"That could be the case."

Akimasa was trying to see if he could remember what the story was but it seemed like his memory became fuzzy at that point, which confused the older male a bit. Soraru was felt his mind wander on about the book until the older male's voice snapped him out of his thoughts.

"Well I should get going. Bye Soraru." The older male said as he waved goodbye to the raven-haired.

Soraru smiled and returned the gesture. He then went back to thinking about joining or leaving the albino. Well not like I have anything to do, I could go home to play video games. But the raven-haired knew that his parents would not let him, seeing as he always spends his time at home. Mafu suddenly appeared at the door, slightly scaring the raven-haired.

"Oi."

The raven-haired glared at the albino, who sheepishly smiled, before sighing.

"Sorry Soraru."

"Whatever."

"So are you coming in or should I just shut the door in front of your face?"

How about neither. Soraru thought before thinking over his options again. He decided to waste time and hang out with the albino some more. I'm sure Urata wouldn't stop annoying me if I left Mafu alone. Soraru thought as he followed the albino into his home. The raven-haired entered the living room and saw two cats running around.

"Welcome to my amazing, lovely home~"

"Is there ever a time when you're not narcissistic?"

"Hey!"

Mafu pouted at the raven-haired's comment. Soraru rolled his eyes before noticing that one of the cats walked up to him.

"Eh? Iroha seems to like you already."

Soraru crouched down to pet the grey cat, she happily purred. The raven-haired smiled as he continued to pet her. Mafu watched the sight and found it interesting how someone like Soraru, who would normally be cold to others, had a soft spot for animals. Well he does seem to enjoy playing with Yamadanuki. Mafu spotted Potato approaching the raven-haired too.

"You're taking my cats away from me~"

"Too bad."

Mafu crossed his arm to make it look like he was angry, but the raven-haired just found the action to be cute. He got up from his crouching position and went towards the couch. Soraru laid down on it while Mafu sat on the floor, wondering what to do.

"Hey, how about I ask you some questions?"

"Eh? Why?"

"To learn more about you~"

"I've been friends with you guys for a while and now you want to ask questions."

Soraru was unable to believe that the albino decided to do this now after already knowing him for a year.

"It's just to pass time~"

The raven-haired shook his head in astonishment before waving his hand lazily to tell the albino to begin.

"Was Luz your first friend?"

"Nope, Urata was."

"Do you like being teased by the others?"

"Yeah, it's so amazing. I'm sure everyone likes being teased." Soraru sarcastically said as he gave the albino an annoyed look. Mafu pouted as he asked his next question.

"Were you always this sarcastic and blunt?"

"Kinda."

"Are there any other things you're afraid of?"

Soraru glared at the albino, who was giggling. The raven-haired sighed.

"Have you ever fallen in love with someone?"

The raven-haired was silent, he thought back on some of the people he had dated. Though he didn't know if they counted as he would always reset so he wouldn't ask them out. Soraru then glanced at the albino, he was going to regret saying this but decided it'd be best to not deny it.

"I have."

"Eh? Really?"

"Why's that so strange to you?"

"Cause it's you."

Soraru glared at Mafu for the comment. The albino stuck out his tongue playfully.

"Annoying."

"Hey!"

Soraru slightly smirked as he saw the albino's puffed out cheeks. Mafu then looked at the raven-haired to continue asking questions.

"Do you have a crush now~"

"......."

"Eh?! You do?!" Mafu shouted out loud, slightly scaring Iroha and Potato, as the raven-haired cringed at the albino's loud voice.

"Oi! Don't shout."

"Seriously?! You like someone?!"

"What gave you that idea?"

"You were silent after I asked you."

"Just because I was silent that doesn't mean yes."

"Then why were you silent?" Mafu questioned the raven-haired as he stared at him with a judging look.

"Because you're so nosy with your questions that I'm starting to get annoyed."

"Hey!"

"Why are you curious anyways? You have Luz."

Mafu became silent after that. Why am I curious? The albino was confused by his sudden interest in the raven-haired. He couldn't find an answer so he pushed the thought in the back of his mind.

"Just cause~ anyways next question."

Soraru sighed as he waited for the albino to ask another pointless question.

"Why do you have that tattoo?"

"Eh? Oh, just wanted to get one."

"Really?"

"Yep, why do you have that tattoo on your cheek?"

Soraru threw the question back at Mafu, who became silent. The raven-haired was bored of answering questions so he decided to ask the albino one. Iroha and Potato were still playing around the room, Soraru turned to watch them while the albino answered the question.

"I told you, I was dared to get it."

"Is that true?"

"Yep~ though I sometimes feel like I look terrible with it."

The raven-haired turned to face the albino that was looking down at the ground as he played with the hem of his shirt. Soraru noticed the albino's upset mood and spoke unconsciously to cheer him up.

"I think it make you looks cute."

Soraru widened his eyes at his words then quickly turned his head away to hide the small blush spreading on his face. I swear if Mafu decides to tell the others I said that then I'm resetting time.

"E-Eh?"

Mafu let out a cute, surprised cry of confusion as he began to blush. The albino stared at the raven-haired, who was looking at wall as if it was more interesting.

"Y-You really t-think that?" Mafu stuttered as his voice became quieter due to his sudden shyness.

"I'm sure the others think that too, like Luz."

Soraru attempted to cover up his feelings by saying that. He only mentioned Luz so that the albino wouldn't read into his words. Not like it mattered if he thought I liked him, Mafu likes Luz.

"R-right, o-of course I'm cute." Mafu said, attempting to sound confident to stop his blush.

The albino glanced at the raven-haired, he used his hands to cover his face in embarrassment. Soraru noticed the time and decided that he should head back home. The raven-haired got up from the couch, Mafu was beginning to recover from his small blushz

"Well I'm leaving now, see ya in school." Soraru waved goodbye at the albino as he walked out.

"Bye."

Mafu waved back as he watched the raven-haired leave. The albino saw Iroha approach him, he picked her up to place her on his lap. The albino hugged Iroha as he unconsciously blushed again. A small smile appearing on his face.
