Chapter 32

The green eyed brunette was in the faculty room as the teacher told him more about the school. He had to stay behind so his teacher could help him catch up with the class. He told the others to leave without him, and unlike when Soraru told them, this time they did leave. Sakata was also staying behind as the teachers wanted to check up on the bullying. The guys were okay with leaving Sakata alone since he would be with either a teacher or Urata so they didn't have to worry much.

Once he was done, he could've gone home, but he decided to walk around the school to explore. He had done this before when he was still just a ghost but he wanted to experience walking. He was grateful that there weren't much students here after school so the hallway wasn't crowded at all. Urata was walking around the halls after school, finding the silence to be comforting. He turned around the corner, only to bump into Sakata.

"A-Ah, sorry Urata." The redhead apologized as the green eyed brunette glared at him.

"Oi. Don't you ever watch where you're going idiot?"

Sakata glared at the green eyed brunette's comment and shouted in reply.

"Don't you ever get bored of calling me an idiot?!"

"But it's the truth."

"Hey!"

The two were about to begin bickering again until something made Sakata stop talking and tense up. Urata was confused at the redhead's sudden quietness. He then noticed the redhead's tattoo had changed from the light pink to red.

Guess the demonic pest left already.

Sakata's face paled as he unconsciously heard a person's thought. Urata heard footsteps in the distance, along with some voices he couldn't really identify. Once the voices got closer and became distinguishable, he widened his eyes. Urata grabbed Sakata's hand and quickly entered the classroom nearby, shutting the door.

"Thought I heard that fucking pathetic wimp."
"Let's just go."

Urata decided to wait for the footsteps to fade away. He turned to look at the redhead in the meantime, Sakata was shaking a bit. Urata felt his heart break at the sight of a completely terrified Sakata. If Sakata was scared of the bullies in the beginning, knowing that they'd go so far as to kill him would make him petrified. Urata tried to think of a way to calm down the frozen redhead. He had a thought cross his mind but blushed. No fucking way am I doing that.

"Doing what?" Sakata said in a slightly shaking and quiet voice.

He was still scared, scared that they'd manage to hear him even if he spoke in barely above a whisper, but he still questioned the green eyed brunette's thought. Urata mentally facepalmed himself for forgetting about the redhead's ability.

"Nothing."

Urata crossed his arms and looked away. After a few seconds have passed by, he made the mistake of looking back at the redhead. He saw that Sakata was still shaking, his red orbs shrunk back in fear. The green eyed brunette sighed and decided sucked up his pride for now. He wrapped his arms around the redhead, Sakata stiffened a bit before realizing that Urata was hugging him.

"E-Eh?"

"Mention this to anyone and I will kill you."

Urata was for once glad that he was shorter so the redhead wouldn't have to see his embarrassed face. Urata then let go of the hug after a couple of seconds and quickly turned his face to look at the door. Sakata was slightly blushing as he stared at the brunette in confusion.

"I think we're good." Urata said as he eventually calmed down from his embarrassment.

He turned to face the redhead, but saw that Sakata was spacing out, a small red tint covered his face. Urata chuckled at the redhead's seemingly frozen state, but then slightly cursed at himself for doing something as embarrassing as that.

"Oi idiot, I know your brain can't comprehend things but stop zoning out."

"H-Hey! I'm not an idiot!" Sakata retorted as he snapped out of whatever trance he was in.

Urata rolled his eyes before opening the door to leave the classroom, Sakata was still annoyed but followed behind. The two left the school and were heading to the redhead's house. Sakata was debating on asking the green eyed brunette about his action back then.

"So why did you hug me back there?"

Urata lost his footing and almost tripped on thin air. He eventually found his balance and glared at the redhead. Sakata shrunk a bit in fear from the green eyed brunette's fierce glare.

"To calm you down, you looked really scared. Plus you always seem to calm down whenever Soraru hugs you."

Urata was slightly irritated when he said his last comment. I'm not jealous of Soraru. I'm not jealous of Soraru. I'm not jealous of Soraru. Sakata, with his sakura tattoo changing to red, tilted his head in confusion at the green eyed brunette's thought.

"Anyways, don't tell the others unless you want to be strangled."

"Can you even reach me?"

Sakata accidentally thought out loud before realizing his mistake. Urata punched the redhead in the arm and glared at him.

"Oi!"

"I didn't mean to say that!"

The two continued to walk to their respective homes. The redhead was still holding his arm, for someone small, he sure can hit hard. The walk was calm, or at least as calm as it can be. The green eye brunette would sometimes make a remark towards the redhead, who would shout in protest. The walk was like this until Sakata bumped into someone.

"I'm sorry—"

The redhead began to back away as he widened his eyes at the person he bumped into. Urata glared at them, a glare so hard, cold and full of hatred that it could pierce someone. The two third-years were looking at the two in amusement, the leader then smirked.

"Well look who we have here."

Sakata froze, he was too scared to even move, Urata noticed it and walked in front of the redhead protectively. The third-year glanced at the green eyed brunette before chuckling.

"Can't even defend yourself so you need a middle schooler to help you."

Urata's glare sharpened even more after hearing the third-year's comment. Sakata shrunk back, he could feel all of his strength leaving his body.

"Look at your dumbass face, it's disgusting."

The leader was reaching for the redhead's hand but his hand was smacked away. He glared at the green eyed brunette, who glared back.

"Leave him alone."

Sakata could sense all the cold, harshness and venom coming from Urata's threat. He shivered a bit at seeing how scary and threatening Urata can be when he wants to. The two third-years were surprised that a person smaller than them was standing up against them.

"How cute, acting like a tough guy."
"Is he trying to be a prince charming?"

The third-years just laughed at the two. Sakata and Urata were just looking at them, one in fear and one in hatred.

"As if you can do anything." The leader said as he smirked confidently at the green eyed brunette.

"Wanna bet."

Urata's tone was deadly, deadly enough that the other third-year actually seemed a bit worried.

"Hey, let's just leave the two fucking losers alone for now." The guy said as the leader let out a protest.

"What?! And let them think we're scared of them?"

The other third-year could sense the violent aura around the green eyed brunette and began to fear for his life a bit. Seems like one of them is able to take a hint. Sakata thought as he watched the third-year try to convince the leader to leave them alone.

"I've had enough of this."

The leader shoved the other third-year away. He was about to grab Sakata's collar but his hand never reached. Sakata and the other third-year stared at the scene, in shock and surprise. Urata had elbowed the third-year in the stomach hard, hard enough that the bigger third-year was hunched over and began to cough. Urata just stared as the force made the leader fall on his knee.

"I. Said. Leave. Him. Alone."

The other third-year began to back away after seeing what the shorter male could do. He looked at Urata before nodding his head and running away, leaving his leader behind.

"Why don't you be like your little friend there and just leave."

Urata's voice was filled with malice as the third-year looked up to glare at him.

"You little shi—"

The third-year got up to punch the green eyed brunette, but Urata was quick to dodge and punched them, knocking them on the ground. The force made the third-year land on his back. He was going to get back up again until Urata stepped on his chest, preventing his from getting up. Even though the green eyed brunette was shorter, all the force and pressure he was putting on his foot restrained the third-year.

"Now listen carefully, leave us alone or else I won't be held responsible for whatever happens to you."

The third-year saw the green eyed brunette's emotionless expression, but could see the malice and viciousness in his eyes. He nodded his head and once Urata took his foot off, the third-year got up quickly and ran away. Urata was still glaring at the third-year before turning to look at the redhead. Sakata just stared at the green eyed brunette in shock.

"What?" Urata said nonchalantly as the redhead snapped out of his state of shock.

"You looked like you were going to kill him for real."

"I was."

"Oh," was the only thing Sakata replied with. Urata sighed before beginning to talk again.

"We should probably get going now—"

Urata's sentence was cut off as he felt someone throw themselves on him. He stumbled a bit, mostly because of the height difference. The green eyed brunette took a few seconds to comprehend what was happening before his face began to heat up.

"Thanks Urata~"

Sakata was hugging the green eyed brunette and looked at him with a bright smile on his face. Urata denied the idea of his face becoming red from the hug and that it was just irritation.

"O-Oi! Get off of me!"

The redhead let go on the green eyed brunette, who tried to calm down his blush. Sakata found the shorter male's expression to be surprising, just a few minutes ago he looked like he was ready to rip the third-year's head off and now he looked like a blushing mess. The green eyes brunette glared at Sakata. He crossed his arms in irritation before sighing once he saw the redhead's happy expression.

They continued to walk back to their houses, well back to Soraru's house for Urata's case. Once they were at Sakata's house, Urata grabbed the redhead's hand and brought him away from the view of others. The green eyed brunette went back to his ghost form.

"Okay well see you tomorrow."

Sakata smiled at the green eyed brunette. The redhead waved goodbye at Urata before entering his house. The green eyed brunette watched before heading towards the raven-haired's home. He made it back and found Soraru doing his homework.

"Did you miss me~"

"Nope."

"How mean."

"You seem to be cheerful then usual."

"What makes you say that—"

"It's probably because you came back walking with Sakata."

"Oi!"

Soraru smirked as the green eyed brunette pouted. Urata was wondering on whether he should tell Soraru what happened. Well he does care about Sakata so....

The green eyed brunette then told the raven-haired about everything that happened. Well not everything, he left out the small facts like him hugging Sakata and vice versa. Soraru was happy that Sakata had Urata by his side. Just like the fated lovers, always having each other's back. Soraru smiled to himself as he talked with the green eyed brunette.
