Chapter 1
"And the preparations completed?" sounded a calm, reverberating masculine voice from the dark corner of dully illuminated room, lightly gleaming leaf green lights popped out of the darkness.
"Yes, master," replied a soft, female hiss that shadowed the only lit section of the small room.
"Are you sure? We do not want it to end like what happened last time..." whispered a seemingly smaller yet skeptical tone in reply.
"Of course I am, and here are the plans and live stream of the current work," nodded the shadow as the figure headed up to the dark corner and knelt down while bowing, a datapad in it's servo.
A clawed servo stuck itself out of the looming darkness and snatched away the datapad. The green optics loomed down at the datapad, and watched the following footage before it smiled in accomplishment.
"Yes... Now those stuck up divided fools would never realize the plan," it mused in satisfaction.
"Ventilation, do you honestly think it would work?" asked the smaller voice in a whisper, again in an unsure tone.
"Why yes Aluze, of course. You of all bots... Excuse me... Bakugans would know how much effort I added to this project. After all, time is precious. Something that should not be wasted on such rash decisions and planning that those Pyrus idiots preform, or be as reclusive and non-players like the Darkus..."

"Wait for me Shadowstreak!" exclaimed a female voice in exasperation as the dark indigo race car hovered out behind the technological advanced hovercraft on the darkened streets of the Darkus Clan. The staggered designed buildings all loomed down at the natives and passerby, even the Cybertronian star never did much to brighten up the area ever since the Mutationis of Attribution. The streets however, unlike it's rough, spiky structures that outlined it, were sleek and smooth like strips of metallic obsidian.
"Why Proxy? Too slow for this fancy, awesome flier here?" snickered back a childish masculine voice as the hovercraft sped away in the instant.
"No!" replied the race car with a stronger tone as it increased its speed in response to the challenge.
The hovercraft grinned to itself mentally at once. "Oh it's on Proxy!" as it hovered off at a faster range of speed.
The two vehicles dodged and hovered through most of the fellow dark colored Cybertronians, receiving curses and yelps from the citizens. However, the two seemingly sparklings disregarded the shouts as they were both too caught up with the idea of winning to even notice that they detoured from their destinations.
As they raced on, a bright, silver dome appeared far away at the horizon, blocked away by the electrifying laser fences that stretched around from one point of the Cybertronian optic to the other side infinity wise in one's mind.
The indigo race car, or Proxy as was called, skidded over to a stop as the recognition of the dome flooded her thoughts. "Shadowstreak stop!" she shrieked. "It's the Brawling Gladiatorium!"
The hovercraft in front of her halted his speed roughly at the instant. "Brawling Gladiatorium?" questioned out Shadowstreak in slight confusion.
Proxy's race car form at once split up into parts and shifted around, forming a humanoid, bipedal shape. Two light violet optics shown off as they looked up at the hovercraft. The femmeling as seemed waved up her arms at the hovercraft, motioning it to land on the ground.
In response, the black clad hovercraft lowered it's altitude slowly before his armor also made a mechanical sound, shifting gears and armor to form a humanoid mechling as he landed on both peds. His darker violet optics trailed up at the taller femme, a frown was clear on his dark grey faceplate.
"What's the Brawling Gladiatorium?" asked Shadowstreak in confusion again.
"The Brawling Gladiatorium! One of the two biggest and most important arenas ever known in Bakugan brawling history along with the Bakugan Coliseum! Where were you in history class!?" exclaimed Proxy in shock and surprise.
"Sorry!" replied the black armored mechling in slight annoyance, taking it in that she called him an idiot. "I'm not as interested in brawling as you are, Miss I-wanna-be-number-one! So keep your Brawling 101 to yourself!"
Proxy scowled at her fellow friend , feeling slightly irritated as she took his nickname as an insult. "What do you have against my dream? I will become number one and known across Cybertron! That's not impossible! No, it will happen! I'll prove it to everyone!" she cheered on over-excitedly mostly to herself.
However, Shadowstreak was still not amused. "Yeah... Well... You still don't even have a Bakugan partner, and you haven't exactly received your upgrade... So how will you become number one?"
