Sofia Silver's Christmas Carol

It was the night before Christmas, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a-

"AAAAAAAAAAAAHH!!!"

Spinneret screamed, letting out a string of curses as she was thrown through the cold Parisian night air, crashing through the glass window of Boulangerie Patisserie.

"Ette!" A voice yelled from the street outside, no doubt belonging to Chat Noir, Spinneret's superhero partner. His voice was soon followed by that of Ladybug, another super heroine that Spinneret worked with, but didn't like that much. They never really got along, but Chat was in love with her and they were both his best friends, so they had to put up with each other.

"I'll distract him, you go help her! I'll ta-" Ladybug yelled, but what she said next Spinneret couldn't hear because she was interupted by the villain the three had been fighting previous to Spinneret being tossed through the air like a sack of flour- which, ironically, was exactly where she had landed... on several sacks of flour.

Unfortunately, when Spinneret had landed, the force of the impact made said sacks of flour explode, covering the super heroine from head to toe in the white powder.

Chat Noir jumped through the broken window, landing on his feet and looking around, coughing because, well, the flour was everywhere, and he couldn't see very well.

"Over here,"

"Ette...?" He asked, finally finding her. "Are you okay?"

Spinneret coughed, flour flying everywhere. "It's Christmas Eve. Why do we have to fight on akuma at three in the morning on Christmas Eve?! "

Chat Noir shrugged, smiling nervously as he helped Sofia to her feet. "I know it's tiring, but it's our job, remember? Besides, talk to HawkMoth. He's the one who akumatized a little kid on Christmas Eve,"

Rolling her eyes, Spinneret dusted the flour off of her suit- which only made her look more like a pastry and less a web-swinging superheroine. "Let's just get this night over with so we can go home. I'd like to get some sleep before we go to Marinette's tomorrow."

Grabbing Chat's wrist, Spinneret used her webs, swinging out of the bakery's broken window and back out into the icy snow, the two joining Ladybug in fighting the akuma once more.

By the time they had finally defeated the akuma, it was five in the morning. It was now Christmas, but the trio wasn't celebrating.

They were far too exhausted to be celebrating.

Ladybug yawned as the three watched the now purfied butterfly fly away towards the Paris skyline. She turned to Chat Noir and Spinneret, rubbing her arms. You could see her breath in the cold.

"M-Miraculous Ladybug!" Ladybug yelled, throwing a red and black polka-dotted blender (don't ask) into the sky, the Miraculous Ladybugs repairing the broken window at Boulangerie Patisserie, as well as the countless other windows and cars they and the akuma had broken during the battle.

"Th-That was o-one h-hard akuma," She said, shivering. In fact, all three of them were shivering. They had been out in the cold for two hours with nothing but their suits on- the three would definitly have colds in the morning.

Spinneret nodded, agreeing wth Ladybug. She didn't argue or come up with a sarcastic Spinneret-style comeback- they were tired and cold and just wanted to go home. Who could argue with that?

Ladybug's earrings beeped, the girl jumping. "Well, w-we all know w-what that m-means. Merry C-Christmas, you t-two. And t-thank you f-for always b-being here."

And with that, the superhero took off into the night.

Spinneret turned to Chat Noir, who was shivering and looked very pale.

"Are you s-sure that you'll be able to make it h-home safely, Adrien?" Spinneret asked.

Chat Noir nodded. "I t-think I'll be f-fine, Sofia. What about y-you? You crashed through q-quite a f-few windows t-tonight..." He chuckled.

Spinneret rolled her eyes, but smiled none-the-less. "Merry Christmas, Adrien. I'll s-see you tomorrow,"

And with that, she swung away into the night, the snow all the more cold as it blew in her face.

Spinneret landed on the balcony of her bedroom, opening the door (which she always kept unlocked due to late night akumas and having to sneak out a lot) and entering her room.

She sighed, pressing her back against the door and sliding to the ground, taking off her mask, her curly hair falling down and stopping just below her shoulders. It had gotten longer since she had moved to Paris all those months ago.

Sofia Silvers still couldn't believe she'd been here for almost a whole year now. That means she's been Spinneret for a whole year. And that she's known Adrien Agreste for a whole year, now, too. And Marinette Dupain-Cheng. It means that it's been half a year since she had met Morgan and Gabriella from Earth-013.

Sighing, Sofia got to her feet, still shivering. Taking off her suit, she put on her pajamas (which were Spider-Man, of course) and made herself a cup of hot chocolate before sitting on her bed and wrapping herself up in a blanket.

Looking at her alarm clock, she realized that it was almost six am.

And it was Christmas.

Sofia looked out her window, the snow still coming down in flurries, and the Eiffel Tower lighting up in the distance. She thought about all the friends she'd made since she moved here- Adrien, Marinette, Alya, Nino, Chloe (sort of)- and all of her Spider friends- Morgan, Gabriella, Milo, Loukas, Zoë, Gwen, and Miles- back home in their dimensions.

Smiling, Sofia Silvers realized just how lucky she was to have such great friends.

"Merry Christmas, everyone..."
