A/N: I have writers block, forgive me. In case it isn't clear, Max is No Power, Lilith is No Name, and Serafina is No Eyes.

Max couldn't believe what he had just done. He had kidnapped an unarmed ally, a girl, at that. But it had to be done, even if it broke every Rule Of Chivalry in the Good Book Of Knighthood. He had looked weeks for this girl after his father had kicked him out of the house according to the 12th Rule Of Chivalry which read "Any Knight of the noblest lineage must be Thrown From his dwelling at the age of 14 to seek thy own path" The other children of prophecy were very important to his plan. Now if only he could just find "No eyes" they would all defeat King Impirir. And maybe... No. He couldn't get his hopes up. After all, he'd just kidnapped one of them. But... Just maybe they'd be his friends. He'd never had a friend before, there were no kids in the palace and he had no siblings.There'd been the occasional time his Father hired a Powerless boy from the village to pretend to be his friend, but usually those kids just made awkward conversation while pretending to play. Maybe they'd all bond and be best friends over the trip to Tenebris where they would hopefully defeat the King. 

But now, he reminded himself, he had an unconscious girl slung over his shoulder. And it was time to get this quest on the road.

He was three days into the four day journey when the girl started to stir. It was a good thing too, because he was getting lonely and his shoulder was getting tired. Max bent down and set the girl on the ground. Then, he carefully slipped the bag off her head, leaned her against the tree and waited for her to wake up. Her eyes fluttered open. He extended his arm to her. If he was going to play the part of a kidnapper, he would at least play it politely. "My name is Max! How do you do?"

She sleepily rubbed her eyes, "My name is Lilith" Lilith stretched out her hand, but instead of shaking like he expected, that palm slapped Max across the face.

Lilith walked uncertainly next to Max the next night as they walked through the forest of East Bellum.

"You're telling me that you kidnapped me to save the world?" she tilted her head to the side contemplating that. "Not the worst explanation I've ever heard." she admitted

Max sighed, "Now we just need to find this No eyes girl. I think its a female pirate in a port a couple miles from here."

Lilith's eyes sparkled curiously, "And why do you think it's her?"

Max shrugged, "She has an eye patch."

Lilith laughed, "But she still has an eye!"

Max raised his eye brows, "But she doesn't have eyes plural!"

Lilith was about to giggle but she stopped short. "Max!" she gasped, pulling him behind a near rock. Through the darkness they could see dark, hooded figures on dark horses. "It's the Hunters!"

They crouched behind the rock, holding their breath. But Max gave a start, "Lily, there's another guy behind that rock!"

The figure spoke up, pulling their hood back with a delicate hand to reveal cascading red hair. "I'm a girl, thank you very much."
