Normal POV (continued from last chapter)

The team found themselves being overwhelmed by the hoards of robots trying to mow them down.

With Dr Fairfield's suit down, it was 3 Mobians against impossible odds.

In this desperate situation, Fury decides to be the one to take charge.

He looks at Bopper. "New plan for you. Ditch the Blue Wispon and fight by bare hands."

Bopper tilts his head. "Really? I don't have to use a Wispon for this?"

Fury nods in response. "Yeah....you're kind of pathetic using one."

Bopper grins widely and tosses the weapon away. "That sounds like a plan."

Hip asks Fury shyly. "Um...what do I do?"

Fury points up to the air. "You take high ground against the bots."

The green wolf then points across the bridge. "Bopper you take the low ground.....and I'll take the middle."

Bopper nods and turns to face the crowd of Metal enemies.

Hip looks at Dr Fairfield. "Hit it!"

Fairfield nods and starts the radio for the fight.

The team charges at the enemies, and the enemy didn't take much longer to respond the same way.

Hip takes to the sky with the Green Wispon's hover ability, about to achieve the impossible task of fighting them without his Wispon.

Fury grappled to the high levels of the bridge to meet with Egg Pawns and Buzz Bombers up there.

It's gonna be a mechanized melee

A bit of a big bot brawl

When we get through you're gonna know it's true

The more metallic they are, the harder they fall

Hip narrowly dodged fire from Buzz Bombers, while Fury just flips over them.

Don't mess with me, 'cause I'm a whole lot of trouble when I'm backed up against the wall

Bopper grabs a slab of the pavement to create a temporary shield to deflect blaster fire, the shots getting more accurate the closer he got.

We're gonna kick some robot chassis, so you better tell robot nation to say a robot prayer, 'cause you better prepare for a automaton annihilation

The two sides got closer and closer as the inevitable melee battle approaches.

You think you're gonna take us down

Well, mechanical man you just try it

You gonna ride that rail out of town

This is a robot riot! (robot riot)

I think you know what I mean (robot riot)

They meet up into a brutal clash.

Fury immediately slid past them and trips them with his whip, causing a small domino effect.

Bopper practically crashed into the bots like a wrecking ball hitting a semi truck, some getting launched several feet.

Hip stopped hovering and used his grapple line to swing from different Buzz Bombers.

This is a robot riot!

I'm gonna break you down and sell you for scrap metal, but I'll keep enough to build myself a trampoline.

Bopper punches left and right, paired with several kicks, clearly having the time of his life fighting with his strength.

Bopper smiles as he punches a hole through three Egg Pawns at once. "I've got happy feet, folks!"

'Cause your momma was a blender and your dad was just a washing machine

This is robot riot!

Fury shocks several rows bots with the whip, with the lucky ones deactivated and the unlucky ones blown to bits from the volts.

He threw their remains at some incoming Buzz Bombers, knocking them out of the sky.

I'm gonna rip you up, gonna break you down, I'm gonna take to the chop shop down town.

Hip ducks from an incoming shot and grapples the bot who did it, dragging it into his metal fist to break apart.

You that you'll be dreadin' this android Armageddon

I think you better check your fluids 'cause I know you're sweatin'.

Fury tosses a Black Wisp to Bopper, who throws it at the crowd of bots that were too close together, decimating them in one blast.

You know you're gonna lose and sing the robot blues

You'll blow a fuse and take a robot snooze

Hip somersaults into the air just in time to get above Fury and extend a line for him to swing across a gap.

I will deactivate ya, because I kinda hate ya

Don't want to beat around the bushes, gonna decimate ya

Fury swings across and jumps off of a robot's head to land across the group of bots, dropping a bomb right into the middle of them.

This is a robot riot! (robot riot)

Oh man it's on! (robot riot)

The bomb goes off right as Fury ran away from it, sending debris down to crush the bots Bopper was facing.

They were practically a wrecking crew at this point!

This is a robot riot!

I'm gonna rip you up and put you back together in a new configuration just to mow my lawn.

Hip swings from another bot and blasts a bunch of them with a sonic wave from his Green Wispon.

The whole course was actually easy for Hip to parkour or grapple from bot to bot like a gymnast.

'Cause your sister is a fridge and you know her light is always on

This is a robot riot!

Fury grabs a robot and throws it at a Buzz Bomber after using it as a moving shield to block enemy fire.

He then does a vertical flip to avoid one Egg Pawn before tripping it and kicking it into more of them.

Robot riot! Robot riot! (Look out!)

Fury jumps off his ledge and swings away to dodge a massive beam from one of the Death Egg Robots, the spot blown to bits.

He looks to his team and calls them. "New objective! Take out the big guns now!"

Robot riot! Robot riot! This is a robot riot!

Hip stops staying high in the air and dives towards the massive robots, catching his descent by grappling a nearby power line, using the rest of them as momentum to go around them.

You better listen up

I got some breaking news

I'm gonna melt you down and pour you on some baby shoes

Fury joins Hip in swinging circles around them, using their grapple lines to tie up the three bots like bails of wheat.

Hip lands on one of the arms, only to jump off in time to avoid getting smacked by one them.

I'm really on a mission

I call it demolition

And when I'm through you're gonna need a new transmission

(This is a robot riot!)

Fury gets on one of feet to taunt one of them to get in closer with the rest of them.

He swings away just in time to see it helped stop them from breaking the grapple lines.

No matter how you strive, you're gonna take a dive

I'm gonna mess you up and devastate your hard drive

The two swing away just in time for the big finale.

Fury calls out. "Do it now, Bopper!"

I'm gonna shut you down, I'm teaching you a lesson

Rip out your CPU and show it to you still processing

(This is a robot riot!)

Bopper pulls out the Cyan Cannon and blasts at the three Death Egg Robots, causing a huge hole through all of them.

I'm gonna rip you up, I'm gonna break you down, I'm gonna take you to the chop shop down town.

You know that you'll be dreading this Android Armageddon

I think you better check your fluids 'cause I know you're sweating

Fury and Hip start running from the collapsing behemoths that were now burning and tearing to bits.

Other bots were destroyed by the giant bots falling or the three soldiers running through them.

You know you're gonna lose and sing your robot blues

You'll blow a fuse and take a robot snooze

I will deactivate ya, because I kinda hate ya

Don't wanna beat around the bushes, gonna decimate ya

(This is a robot riot!)

They all sidestep to avoid cliff side debris coming down from one of the Death Egg Bots crashing into it.

Hip blasts a few pieces with a sonic wave, while Bopper punched them to crumbs and Fury threw away any incoming obstacles.

I'm gonna rip you up, I'm gonna break you down, I'm gonna take you to the chop shop down town.

The team barely escapes as the giant bots crash down on the rest of the army, creating a massive explosion that covered the area.

Alright!

And Hip takes a bow after the fight was over, as if this was a major performance.

One hour later...

Dr Fairfield arrives with a few pieces of equipment, quickly trying to recalibrate Hip's metal limbs.

Bopper whistles at the damage behind them. "We make quite a team, eh Fury?"

Fury puts away his Wispon. "I'm not gonna disagree with that statement. We blew their feet off with that fight."

Hip smiles as he tests one of his arms into the form of a thumbs up. "And we looked really cool while doing it."

Dr Fairfield sighs in disappointment. "Unfortunately, my prototype mech has been demolished by that robot imposter. I am afraid all of you will be on your own from here on out."

Hip looks at the human scientist. "No problem, doc. We'll send you a picture when the mission is over just for good memories."

Bopper checks the Cyan Cannon. "We still have 3 shots left over. That'll be plenty enough for the facility to be torn to shreds."

Dr Fairfield walks over to Fury and hands him a yellow disk. "Before I forget, here is my Enhancer Disk for Wispons. This will help Wisps recycle and remake Hyper-go-on energy, allowing Wisps to become an infinite power source and avoid turning into Nega Wisps."

Fury puts it inside his Lightning Wispon. "Thanks. Get back to the base and wait for us to come back. If we don't call in 5 hours, warn the Resistance as a last resort."

Dr Fairfield nods. "I will. Be safe everyone."

The squad runs off after that exchange, determined to reach their destination and end Eggman's resources.

I know it's short, but the big battle is ahead, so I thought I'd split it here.

This was my first attempt at putting a song into a story.

The song Robot Riot belongs to Disney and those who made Phineas and Ferb.

Not trying to advertise them, just give them credit for the music.
