"This is gonna be my first date and who knows, things can work out" I say quoting Michael's favourite words. "Work out? Wow. But what of your parents?where would you tell them you are goin?" "Got that sorted out already, going for evangelism" I say and wink.
She just chuckles. You know that last question was really needed because my parents don't allow me see guys at all not to talk of dating one, that's not gonna be funny if found out about me. I'm not even allowed to keep female friends. Got ony two female friends one in my street and the other is a colleague at work. Yeah,I work since I've not being able to secure admission for the course I wanna study which is law to be precise,I decided to teach in my mum's school.at least I think its better than just sitting at home doing nothing. I can't be doing nothing though as I'm a writer buy I guess my mum prefers it that way .
"So you meeting this guy tomorrow right?"Mary,on of my female friends,the one who's my colleague at work asks me again as if she isn't sure I said that earlier." Yeah miss mary,I'm not so sure but I'll like to go".guess you are surprised I called her that. She's give years older than me and I don't feel comfortable calling her by her first name so I just go official calking her. It's just better that way.
"Wish you the best with your date ". "Thank you" I say and smile hoping it works out as planned.
"Vivian!vivian!! Vivian!!" The principal of the school screams from her office as she hears my voice in miss Mary's class. I quickly made my way to my class before she screams again. She should better get used to the fact that as far as miss Mary's in school I'll never sit still in my class.
Thank goodness my students are still working in their textbooks . I let my mind drift again to Christian.
"Does Christian even have feelings for me at all? But he once told me he loved me,was he lying or was he sincere? He probably just said it to cheer me on. But I've not told him I liked him,did I? Or is it very obvious? Why the hell is this guy behaving this way. I put on my ear phones after making sure no other teacher is gonna pass the front of my class . 'Toh bad' by niyiola plays into my ears softly ..

My subconciousness then whispers into my ears "you might have feelings for him but who says he does for you,I don't think that song applies to you". I try to ignore the fact and continue listening to the song but I'm interrupted by some of my students saying they are done. I put off my earphones and set to examining their textbooks.
