My phone screen lightens up and I notice I have a call. Speaking of the devil himself. Just as I'm having thoughts about him,he decides to call.
"Babe"
"Good evening" I'm forever used to my official greetings . never used to the normal trend of greeting casually. Who knows, I might change later.
"Just called to check up on you"
"Oh. Thanks really. I'm good and you? When did I start feeling nervous when talking to Micheal. This isn't Christian viv...
"I'm cool too.. So,you thought about my request already ?"
"Which?" I ask pretending
"Really? Are you joking around with me or what? Vivian, I like you and I would love to be in a relationship with you "
"Oh. I see..um actually the thing is ..I already considered your request and I'm answering in the affirmative.. Like..hell yes,I'll fuvking date you Micheal"
"Are you serious?? You don't mean it"
"Actually, I would have loved to do this when you are in front of me and not on a phone call but I guess I just can't wait till you'll be coming home from school. So when are you coming home?"
"I'm so glad I could kiss you right now,and about me coming home. I'm supposed to be coming home on Friday but ain't having lectures on Thursday so.. I'll make it Thursday then ,thanks so much dearie. You made my day"
" same here sweetheart. Just make sure you call at least three times in a day or else I'll fine you when you come home "

We both laughed and exchanged farewells. I've never felt this glad really. This is the first time I feel like I really feel something for someone and he does feel the same but.. What if he's just a play boy. I'll find that out later but for now ,I'll just enjoy it while it lasts .
The two days in between Tuesday and Thursday seemed like two years. I just can't stop laughing anytime I reemember I and Mary's conversations ..

"Are your students not participating in the sports activities?"mary asked with a concerned look. I dropped the marker I was holding because I wanted to start writing on the board when she came in. I looked more confused when she asked
"Sports? Is today not Thursday?"
"Thursday? Looks like someone's growing old already". I faced a student immediately and asked what day of the week it was and the student said it was Wednesday. I couldn't hide the disappointment on my face as I told them all to go for sports. So i still have 24hours more before I see Micheal. I'm starting to feel like the day is crawling.
"Ma,the principal is calling you "a student said calling my attention . "oh,okay" I say scrambling to my feet
"Why did you take the notes from my table already.I thought I said you'll get them back on Thursday"
"Um. Yeah, that's why I took them already. Isn't today Thursday?" I ask and she just looks at me like I dropped from the sky. Miss mary enters and the principal faces her
"What's wrong with your colleague? Why is she thinking today is Thursday?"
" I wanted to ask the same question?" Mary responded. I just smiled and replied in a low voice. "Cos Micheal is coming back on Thursday". They both looked st each other before smiling mischievously
"Have you already agreed in?"
"The Micheal you just answered yesterday". The principal and mary chorused simultaneously. "Hmn ,I go love o" mary says before leaving the office.
"I'll go and bring those notes now" I say quickly to avoid further interrogation.

I couldn't hide my joy when Michael said he was close already. According to him,he'll pass by the front of my house so he can see me as its not his normal route.
I found myself in front of the mirror almost immediate making sure there's nothing to be complained about. It seems like I already forgot that when we first met I wasn't dressed at all. I just looked as uninviting as I could be.
I stood on the balcony of my house more like waiting for him to call that he's around. Forgetting that the gate of my house was wide opened,I picked out my phone and started taking selfies.
"Babe" I heard from afar and looked in the direction it came from. I just couldn't contain my joy as I literally flew on him. I ran from the gate and jumped on him in a bear hug. "I missed you so much" I managed to say."I missed you more sweetheart"
"You really made my week dear". I just couldn't help but smile. "Anyways, hope the journey wasn't too stressful" I asked as the conversation was starting to get awkward
"Don't worry,very soon we'll be having so many things to talk about " he said noticing my awkward question.
"It wasn't too stressful though" he replied my earlier asked question. "Is there any other way we can see cos I have to go home now"he looked at his wristwatch"its  late already and my mum might be worried cos I left school since morning. "I'll see you some other time then " I say with a long face even though I know that's present impossible tense. Its not easy at all to leave the house,infact right now I'm starting to get nervous that hope my mum would not notice my absence in the house. "I'll see you later babe" . we exchanged farewells and I sprinted inside the house.
I feel fulfilled talking to him. Really. We got to see each other four days which was on Sunday in church and sadly enough for me,he was going back to school that day. I'll just have to patiently count days till the week runs out as he's sure coming home the next week again. I'll miss him so much....
