MICKY'S EYES FLUTTERED open as she hears the heavy knocking on her door. She groaned and turned over onto her side and checked the bedside clock

12:37 pm it read. The knocking was becoming more urgent this time. This confused her and made her slightly anxious. She stood up from her bed and walked over to the door quickly. She looked through the peep hole. And there stood Michael with a nervous look on his face.

Micky pulled away and unlocked the door. As soon as the door opened, Michael stoped rambling. A look of shock passed his face before his cheeks began to turn red. He looked down avoiding her gaze. Micky furrowed her eyes at this until she realized what he must have been looking at. His knocks were so urgent that she forgot to put on a robe. She was simply wearing an oversized t shirt with no bottoms on. And it was barley covering her bum. Her cheeks grew hot and she quickly shut the door in his face. She ran back to her bedroom and grabbed her robe and put it on as she ran back to the door. She tied the front of her robe and opened the door. Michael stood there in the same position when she slammed the door in his face.

"I'm sorry about that. I didn't mean to slam the door in your face. I just sort of panicked." She smiled sheepishly. She stepped aside and ushered for him to come inside. Michael walked in quietly, cheeks still tinted a slight red. Micky let the both of them to her living area. Just as she was about to ask him why he came, he beat her to it.

"I'm sorry" he told her, sadness draping over his face. Micky grew confused.

"What for?" She asked him. Micky was certain that he hasn't done anything bad to her. It was more like the opposite actually.

"I shouldn't have taken you to Disney yesterday. If I didn't, then the tabloids wouldn't be talking about you. It's all my fault. I completely understand if you don't wanna work together anymore or be friends. I understand. I wouldn't wanna be friends with me either..." Michael rambled on. Micky tried to say something but Michael hadn't noticed and continued to talk. Micky didn't know what else to do so instead did what she thought was best. She walked into him and wrapped her arms around his torso. That shut Michael up immediately. She tightened her grip on him.
This caught Michael by surprise. And slowly he wrapped his arms around her. It was then that the two noticed the height difference between each other. Michael never knew Micky was this small. She was small enough that he can comfortably lay his chin on top of her head.

Micky was reluctant to pull away but decided that she would have to. But she didn't fully pull away from him. She still held onto his arms as she looks up at him.

"You don't have to be sorry about anything" she told him.

"But the tabloids..." he trailed on. Micky simply smiled.

"Are tabloids. It's their job to make up crazy stuff. Besides yesterday was probably one of the best days of my life and I don't regret it one bit"

"And who cares what the tabloids say. Most of the stuff they write about is irrelevant anyways" she said in a matter of fact. Michael breathed out in relief. He was so afraid of nothing. Micky laughed quietly. Then an idea popped into her head. She completely pulled away from Michael and walked over to her keyboard with a huge smile on her face. Michael followed her and sat down on one of the chairs.
Micky began to play around with some of they keys until she began playing a random melody. She hummed to the music and giggled. Michael enjoyed seeing her play around but he was still not catching onto what she was up to.
Micky played the melody and slowly began to piece word by word together

"I don't care what you talkin' 'bout baby
I don't care what you say.
Don't you come walkin' beggin' back mama, I don't care anyway.
Dime after dime I gave you all of my money, No excuses to make.
Ain't no mountain that I can't climb baby
All is going my way" she sang. Michael's smile gradually increased with every word she sang. He finally understood her plan.
He stood up and sat beside her.

"'Cause there's a time when you're right
And you know you must fight
Who's laughing baby, don't you know" he sang.

"And there's the choice that we make
And this choice you will take. Who's laughin' baby" Micky continued. She changed up the melody into something more upbeat for the transition.

"So just leave me alone. Leave alone.
Leave me alone. Leave me alone, stop it!
Just stop doggin me around" Michael finished. The two looked at one another before bursting out in laughter.

"I think we got a new song" Michael told her. He smirked. This could be his payback to all the dirty stuff that the tabloids have been telling through out the years. And it was all thanks to Micky.
