THE GIRLS FOLLOWED Micky like little puppies. Michael scolded his nieces but they refused to listen. Micky assured him that she didn't mind and that she actually found them quite adorable. It was starting to turn dark outside and Michael knew it was time to take Micky back to her hotel.

"Okay girls, it's getting dark and Micky is probably very tired" he told his nieces. They began to whine making Michael sigh.

"Why does she have to go?"

"Can't she stay?"

"I was gonna ask her something" the girls told their uncle. But he shook his head. He loves them to death but he feels that Micky would start to find them annoying.

Micky could see the frustration in Michael's face. LaToya, Marlon and Rebbie were snickering in the background watching the scene unfold in front of them.

"Please stay Micky. I still wanna hang out with you" little Valencia asked, her big brown eyes starring into Micky's. Just as Michael was about to tell his niece off, Micky intervened.

"Of course I'll stay but only if it's alright with your family" Micky smiles. The girls cheered and Michael was bombarded with pleases.

"Are you sure? I can always take you home now if you want" Micky shook her head.

"Really I don't mind. They remind me of my own nieces" Micky laughed. Her niece was just like these girls. All hyper and energetic.

And it was honestly making her miss her family.

The girls cheered and pulled Micky away from Michael, their laughs echoing through the halls. Michael looked to his siblings and playfully glared at them.

"Thanks for the help" his sisters laughed as he took a seat beside Marlon. Marlon patted Michael's shoulder.

"You should've warned me that the girl you're bringing was Micky Beaumont" Marlon laughed but Michael took this the wrong way and frowned.

"Why? What's wrong with her?" Michael spoke, His voice deepening. Marlon raised his hands up in defense.

"I don't mean it like that. My little girls are obsessed with her and her group. Little Mix posters are plastered all over their bedroom walls. They basically worship the band" Marlon chuckled as he took a swig from his beer.

"Same with my kids. I play their music every morning before they go off to school. They even begged me to let them go to their concert but the tickets already sold out" Rebbie sighed. Michael smiled at the thought of his nieces enjoying their first concert. Maybe he can pull a few strings and get them the tickets that they always wanted.

From upstairs, the girls sat Micky down at a small table. Tea cups and pots were placed all around the table. It was a little tea party.

They dropped a pink boa on her shoulders and a tiara onto her head. Little Yashi grabbed Micky's hand and led her a little further back to the room. She walked in front of Micky and cleared her throat.

"Ladies and teddy bears. Princess Micky has arrived" she announced in a posh voice. Micky giggled and did a slight curtesy to the table. She sat on one of the small chairs, even if it was slightly uncomfortable.

"Would you like some tea princess?" Valencia asked. Micky smiled and nodded her head.

"I would very much like some tea" she replied with a funny voice to match. Valencia picked up the tea pot and poured some 'Tea' into Micky's cup.

"Thank you" Micky picked the cup up, raising her pinky finger and took a sip of the imaginary tea. The door behind them creaked open and Janet poked her head in.

"Hey what are you girls doing?" Brittany stood from her seat and walked to her aunt.

"Do you want to join our tea party Auntie Janet?" Janet smiled and nodded her head. Brittany grabbed her hand and led her to the table. Janet took a seat beside Micky as her nieces put a boa and tiara on her like they did with Micky. Now that everyone was settled, the party continued. At first it was quiet until the oldest of the girls, Stacee, asked a question that shocked Micky.

"So Micky, Do you love uncle Michael?" She sipped casually. Micky's eyes widen and nearly choked on the imaginary tea she was drinking.

"What? Why do you ask?" She replied, a little too fast. Janet smirked. Her nieces were doing all the work for her.

"I don't know? You always smile whenever he's near. And your eyes also tend to dart around" Stacee smirked. Even if she was only 15 years old, she could see the secret glances the two were sharing during dinner.

Micky's face felt hot and she nervously laughed.

"Does that mean You'll become our new Auntie?" The younger girls asked. This question made not only Micky's eyes to widen but Janet's also.

"Girls you are too young to be talking about relationships. Let's change the topic" Janet suggested since she was starting to see how uncomfortable Micky was becoming. She turned to her and smiled.

"So how's it like being in a girl group?" She asked. A wide grin spread through Micky's face as she began to tell the girls about her experiences. An hour and a half has passed and the girls were starting to feel sleepy. Earlier Rebbie joined them and now she was changing the kids into their night clothes. Once they were all dressed, Janet and Rebbie tucked all the girls in bed. As they turned to leave, a sleepy voice called out to Micky. Valencia stared at her sleepily.

"Can you sing us a song goodnight?" She requested. Micky looked to Rebbie and Janet as they nodded their heads. Micky took a seat on Valencia's bed.

"Of course. What would you like me to sing?"

"Can you sing something off your album. I just wanna hear your voice since I couldn't get tickets to watch your concert" she yawned. Micky thought for a moment until she finally settles for a song.

Michael was walking up the stairs when he heard Singing from across the hall.

Why can't I say that I'm in love?

I wanna shout if from the rooftops.

I wish that it can be like that

Why can't it be like that? Cause I'm yours

Michael didn't realize that he was slowly walking to the door. It was only that he stopped when the floor creeks underneath him and both his sister and Micky's eyes turned to him.

"Sorry" he apologized. Micky chuckled and stood from the bed. She tucked Valencia in and walked out the room, quietly closing the door behind her.

"Sorry. I didn't know it was you singing" he tried to lie but Janet was not having it.

"Yes you do. You've been working with Micky for a month now. I'm pretty sure you know what the sound of her voice sounds like" Rebbie's eyes widen as she clamps her hand on her mouth to prevent herself from laughing to hard. Micky snickered as she saw the annoyed look Michael sent his little sister. He turns his attention away from Janet and onto Micky, his facial expressions quickly changing.

"It's almost 9 o' clock. I should probably take you back to your hotel room." Micky's mood deflated slurpy as she didn't realize that the time has gone by so quickly already. She was having so much fun with Rebbie, Janet and the kids that she didn't realize that the sun has completely disappeared from the sky and was now replaced by a glowing moon.

"I didn't realize it was already so late. Let me just grab my purse downstairs" Michael nodded and led her down into the kitchen where Micky had placed her bag. Mother was inside, wiping the countertops. She looks up as she hears the footsteps.

"Are you leaving?" Mother asked. Micky nodded.

"Yes. It's getting very late" Mother Katherine glanced at the clock to see the arrows pointing at 8:57.

"It's awfully late dear. You might get stuck in traffic. This is usually the time the people working night shifts start going to work. You can always stay the night" Mother suggested.

"I can't I wouldn't want to intrude"

"Nonsense. Stay the night. Michael can drive you back tomorrow morning."

"Are you sure it's alright?"

"Yes dear. You can sleep in the guest bedroom. You can borrow some of Janet's clothes to sleep in tonight." Micky thought about it and decided to stay, much to mothers delight. Michael was surprised. He didn't expect that from his mother. But nonetheless, He guided Micky to the guest room which just so happens to be right across from his room. He opened the door for her as she steps through the doors.

"I'm gonna go ask Janet for some clothes you can borrow" he didn't wait to hear a reply from her as he walked out, closing the door behind him. He leaned his back onto the wall and took a deep breathe. Once he composed himself, he went to look for Janet but couldn't find her. He's looked everywhere but she still couldn't be found. Michael groaned and walked into to his room. He grabbed one of his shirts and a pair of boxer shorts for her. Hopefully she's fine with wearing his clothes. He walked across the hall and knocked on the door. He heard a her say to come in so he turned the door knob open. Micky was sitting on the edge of the bed with her shoes kicked off.

"I couldn't find Janet so I just grabbed you some of my clothes to wear. I hope that's alright with you" He asked. Micky grabbed the clothes from his hands.

"It's alright. I don't mind." She replied. Michael shyly smiled and excused himself out of the bedroom. He walked to his bedroom and plopped himself on his bed.

He was reading a book when he hears a knock at his door. He sets the book down and walks to his door and opens it.

There she stood. Her hair was up in a bun, all traces of makeup was removed from her face and she was wearing his clothes. She looked so beautiful in his clothes. He didn't realize he was staring until Micky began to repeat his name.

"I'm sorry. What did you say?" He asked sheepishly. Micky smiled.

"I just wanted to wish you goodnight and I also wanted to thank you for inviting me to dinner" she told him. Michael shook his head.

"It's no problem. I hope you had a good time today" he asked her.

"I had a wonderful time. Your family is lovely and your nieces and just adorable" she smiled shyly. The two stood there quietly not speaking. They were staring at each other. Micky was analyzing Michael's face. He was so very handsome to her, even before his procedures. His eyes were deep with compassion and his smile can light up a room.

Michael too was analyzing Micky's face. She was a beauty to behold. A beauty he can only dream off. But at the moment it did feel like a dream. They both began to lean in until finally their lips touched for the first time.

There were no fireworks or bombs. Not even butterflies. It felt as if the whole world stopped and it was only them. In that moment they felt like one.
Micky reluctantly pulled away to catch her breathe. She looks into his eyes.

"Goodnight" she whispers, walking back into the room leaving Michael standing outside his door starring at the spot she once stood with an loopy smile on his face
