Taehyung's P.O.V - 11:30 p.m.

"Come on chim, watch one more movie with me?" Tae pouted while cuddling with Jimin on the couch

"Taetae, you won't want me here once Jungkookie gets home. Besides Yoongs is nearly here to fetch me. I'm sorry babe." he ruffled the younger male's hair. Clearly noticing that Tae isn't wanting to be left alone. "What's wrong Taehyungie? You've been alone many nights before, why do you seem so sad?"

Tae was choking back tears. He didn't understand himself why he was so afraid of being alone tonight. "I dunno Jiminie...I think because I was alone for so long, then I had Bogum. Then I was alone again for months, now I have Kookie a-and-" he cut himself off with a sob he was trying to choke back "I'm so scared I'm gonna fall asleep and wake up and this was all just a dream. I'll wake up back at home in Kyoto, lonely and longing for all of you. So when you or Jungkookie or one of the hyungs are here with me..I-I'm not scared of that. You guys remind me that this is real"

Jimin cooed at the crying man in front of him. Wondering how Taehyung truly was still the soft-hearted boy inside that he was when they first met. "Taetae...precious..my soul mate...I promise on my good skin and round ass that this is without a doubt, real. Even if you fall asleep and have a horrible dream, by the time you wake up. Jungkookie will be home and most likely cuddling you because I just know he misses you as much as you miss him." Jimin smiled placing a soft kiss on Tae's blue locks

Taehyung couldn't help but laugh at Jimin's ridiculous method of cheering him up. "Well if you're willing to bet your face and ass on it, then I guess I have no choice but to believe you" he patted away his tears as he heard the doorbell ring. "Yah, he knows the passcode...why doesn't he just come in" Tae scoffed

"After the way you guys entered the house on housewarming day--I don't think ANY of us will EVER be willing to barge in unannounced again." The two laughed at each other before Jimin left to head towards the door "Make sure you get rest Taetae. You'll need it for tomorrow" spoken with a flying kiss and a wink, Jimin rushed out of the door before Tae could ask what he meant.

Tae crossed his arms, stupid midget. Looking at the clock and realizing there were still roughly 3 hours until Jungkook would be home. He ran upstairs and smirked as he dug out a specific outfit and ran to bed. 

Jungkook's P.O.V

If he knew the flight home would feel like it took a million years, he would've sacrificed his sleep the night before to ensure he could sleep the way back. His anticipation and excitement for the day ahead of them is clouding his mind and leaves him checking his watch every minute. Upon hearing the call that the plan is officially landed and they are allowed to leave, he rushed up to grab his carry on and darted towards a cab.

thirty minutes later

Jungkook opened the door to their house quietly. Partially expecting Taehyung to be awake waiting for him, he was a tad bit surprised when he wasn't tackled the moment he walked through the door. Surprisingly, he was relieved--he wanted Tae to get plenty of rest. Sliding off his shoes and setting down his bag, Jungkook made his way to the kitchen to grab something to drink before heading to bed.

Whenever he saw the light glow of fairy lights from the hallway, he was puzzled--not remembering having such things. He was breathless when he walked into their room and saw Tae asleep looking like an absolute angel. Wearing short silk shorts, accompanied only with Jungkook's very old jersey tanktop with his name on it. The shirt was raised a little, revealing just a small bit of Tae's tanned stomach.

(A/N: Just wanted you guys to have an idea of what I pictured. Obvi shorts would be tighter because the taebooty is thiccccc)

He couldn't wait to climb into bed so he hurried to the shower to get refreshed. Just a few more hours, Kook. We got this. He thought to himself as he ran his fingers through his hair, replaying his own plans over and over in his head. Once he got out and dried off, he sent one last text and  crawled into bed.

He snaked an arm around Tae's tiny waist and pulled him in close. Tae's contented humm was the only noise Jungkook heard before he placed a butterfly kiss on those puffy cheeks and drifted into dreamland.

Taehyung's P.O.V

He wasn't entirely sure what time it was but by the sunlight glimmering through the window and the fact that the bed was empty, he assumed Jungkook wasn't home yet. His brain immediately overcame with worry and stress as he noticed it was 7:30 a.m. Jungkook should have been home at 3. He jolted out of bed and slid on his bunny house slippers, running down the stairs. Whenever he's hit with an amazing aroma and hears soft singing from the kitchen. His heart swelled at the sight and immediately the beating started to regulate. He slowly entered the kitchen, just like he did their first night here.

Gently wrapping his arms around Jungkook's torso. Placing a sweet kiss on his shoulder blade. The younger male just glanced over his shoulder at the beauty in front of him. "Goodmorning Tae" 

"Why are you cooking! I should be cooking for you!"

"Nah, I couldn't sleep much. I got a couple hours in though so don't worry" he said with a smile before returning to the stove. He was trying to focus but Taehyung kept placing kisses all over his bare back and sending chills down his spine.

 "Baby..." he said low and warned but Tae didn't care. He reached around Jungkook and turned the dial on the stove burner off. One step back as he waited for the older to turn around, which Jungkook didn't hesitate to do. He walked towards Tae and placed his hands on either side of him, encasing him tightly in his arms before capturing his lips hungrily. Whenever he licked Tae's bottom lip, wanting to deepen the kiss, Tae didn't resist. He allowed his fingers to trace the muscles on Jungkooks back before making their way up to his hair. Giving a gentle tug and releasing a soft moan when Jungkook sucked on his tongue a little bit.

Taehyung was desperately trying to pull Jungkook closer when the younger male leaned down, firmly grasped Tae's waist and lifted him up to place him on the counter. Jungkook wiggled himsef in between Tae's spread legs. Gently carressing from his knees to his thighs, biting his lip at the sight in front him. Meanwhile Tae was blushing so hard. "I missed you, Kookie." Tae whispered as he drew small circles on the back of the younger's neck.

Jungkook leaned up to kiss him deeply before pressing their foreheads together "I missed you more" Tae whimpered and crossed his arms whenever Jungkook stepped away from him to turn the burner back on. The brown haired male just turned back and kissed those soft lips again. "I'm sorry baby, I've got a lot planned for us today. Do me a favor and go take a nice bath, alright? I'll bring you clothes and a towel as soon as I finish the eggs."

Noticing Tae's soft but slightly disappointed expression he walked back, griping his waist again and pulling him down from the counter, snaking his hands around until he gave Tae's ass a gentle squeeze and nibbled his ear "I promise there's more in store for later" he spoke in a deep husky whisper that nearly made Tae orgasm.

Whenever Tae got out of the bathtub he began drying himself. he noticed music playing loudly and saw a velvet bag sitting on their bed. He giggled knowing who is behind this and he was shocked to see such wonderful outfit picked out for him to wear. He immediately got giddy and started getting ready, not noticing the eyes on him from the corner.

He dropped the towel and was sliding on his tight boxers whenever he felt those strong arms around him and he allowed himself to rest back against Jungkook's chest. "Thank you" he whispered

Jungkook kisses his head softly "don't thank me, just hurry and come eat okay. We're going to go to the art gallery after breakfast."

Taehyung stared out the bedroom door as Jungkook walked away and he was really hating himself for being such a cry baby right now. How did I get so lucky? 

After finishing getting ready he stared at himself one more time in the mirror before heading downstairs. He was curious what required him to be so dressed up but this is his and Jungkook's first "date" since moving in together, so he just brushed it off as the younger wanting to make it really special. I can't wait. He thought to himself as he pulled out his phone to text Jimin and Yoongi. 

Jungkook's P.O.V

He was doing his best not to make it too obvious that he was nervous, because he didn't want to give anything away but the fact that he was only hours away from proposing to his best friend/love of his life had him a little bit on edge, to say the least. Checking the drawer in the kitchen where he left the ring to ensure that it's there and out of sight from Tae, he shook off his nerves with some push ups. 

Every thought, worry and doubt that entered his mind washed away whenever Taehyung was finally ready and standing in front of him. "Seriously Kookie? Who freaking does push ups wearing clothes like that?" Tae laughed as he knocked him over with his foot "Stupid muscle bunny, you did good on our clothes by the way." 

Jungkook stood up and pulled Tae closer, kissing him deeply before pulling away. "Yes, yes I did" sporting a smirk as he looked Taehyung up and down--making it very obvious that he enjoyed what he saw. 

(^^That outfit but with his hair from Lotte) 

"Let's head out, baby" he reached out his hand. Tae flashed a bright boxy grin as they left the house. Both of them excited for similar reasons, even though they don't know that the other is having the same thoughts.

Jimin's P.O.V - 12:30 

"Yoongles, you about ready? I told the rest of the guys to meet us over there at 2, so we're gonna be there a little early by ourselves." 

"What's the point? Why not just go at 2 with the rest of them?" Yoongi rolled his eyes as he slugged off the couch

"Because, we're gonna start getting things ready and I need to make sure Jungkookie did everything right with what I told him to order."

"Jimin-ahhh.....it's their proposal, just leave it how Kook did it. Taehyungie is gonna love it just because it's Kook."

"I know but Tae has been through so much and suffered a lot of it alone, while we all had each other. Is it so bad for me to want everything to be perfect for him?" 

Yoongi took Jimin in for a sweet kiss "Ya know, I blame you for making me soft."

"Yah, you've always been soft for Taetae..I just make it easier for you to do it openly" Jimin smirked as he dragged his grumpy husband out of their house.

a few hours later

"Yoongs, get the door.. I think hyungs are here"

Quickly the living room was filled with loud voices and laughter. 

"I'm still kind of shocked to be honest" Namjoon spoke as they all gathered around plucking petals off of flowers because Jungkook was specific on which petals he wanted. 

"I'm not, remember how bashful they used to get when we joked with them as teenagers?" Seokjin chuckled remembering how much they tormented their two maknaes about their close bond.

"OH MY GOD, DO YOU GUYS REMEMBER AFTER MUSIC BANK IN '15?!" Jimin shouted before he quickly made sure to jog their memories 

FLASHBACK - 2015 

All of the guys were exhausted from their music bank performance, because they had a full week of schedule leading up to it. Deciding they would all go for a trip to the nearby spa to soak in the hot tub, Jimin went to Taehyung and Jungkook's room to tell them to hurry up. 

The two were bickering about which towel they were using because Jungkook swore that the pokemon towel was his and the gucci one was Tae's. Everyone knew the gucci one was Tae's. But the older insisted he bought it for Jungkook as a gift and Jungkook bought him the pokemon towel. Jimin laughed out loud at their ridiculous argument before telling them to come on. 

During the rest of the day Tae and Jungkook kept bickering about little stuff. The funniest things that made their hyungs curious if the two had done drugs or something this morning because their behavior was crazy. 

"Alright, what's up shitheads, you've been bickering all day" Yoongi scoffed

"Seriously, since when do you guys argue so much" Hoseok laughed at the two who were both sulking and ignoring each other

"Ask V-hyung, he's been weird all day. Picking fights with me for no reason. UGH it's so frustrating" Jungkook gripped his hair before placing a little more space between him and Tae

Tae felt a little sad at Jungkook's reaction...he knew he was a little irritable today but it's only because Jungkook fell asleep on his own bed the night before so Tae didn't get much sleep. Rather than admitting that he can't sleep without the younger, he just submerged himself under water, letting the bubbles cover him up to his nose.

"If I didn't know any better, I'd think you guys were a married couple" Jimin giggled as he splashed both of them with water. 

Thankfully the water was hot and the lights were dim so none of the hyungs noticed the way both of their faces blushed redder than a firetruck. 

END FLASHBACK

"Do you think they liked each other, like that back then?" Hoseok asked

The other four hyungs all said in unison "Absolutely". They all laughed and headed towards the backyard "It's getting closer to time guys, let's hurry up and get this ready!" Jimin shouted in excitement

Taehyung's P.O.V

Taehyung was surprised at all of the things they've done so far today. Following the art gallery, where Junkook let Tae buy two new pieces for the living room and convinced him to hang ONE in the gym for "Fit-spiration". They went and strolled around the park that they used to do silly vlogs with Jimin. Stopping for lunch at Tae's favorite noodle place before proceeding to the BigHit office, where Tae learned that Jungkook rented out the recording space. So that they could record some covers of songs like old times, which of course ended in Taehyung's tears on several occasions. 

They were wrapping up their dinner around 6:20p whenever Tae decided he was gonna talk to Jungkook. 

"K-kookie?" he was nibbling on his lip and fidgeting with his fingers. Why am I so nervous. He's made it clear he wants to marry me eventually. Why am I so scared. 

"What's up baby?" Jungkook took his fidgety hands into his own, wondering what has Tae so nervous

"Ah, it's nothing big. I just thought I'd tell you that my lawyer called me last week" 

Jungkook gulped, did I give something away? does he know I'm proposing? "Oh yeah? What'd she say?"

"That I'm officially back on the market!" Tae chose to use Jimin's words, hoping to distract from his nervousness and rile the younger up a bit.

"Kim Taehyung, I think we both know that you are not on the market..." He glared into the older while poking his tongue into his cheek. 

Taehyung laughed before kissing Jungkook's knuckles. "I know Kookie. I just wanted to tell you, so that we can officially finally say that there is NOTHING holding us back from whatever we wanna do from now on" he smiled sweetly and noticed the way Jungkook's eyes were a little glossy

"That's great baby, thank you for telling me." He smiled before standing up "Ready to go home?"

"Definitely"

Third Person P.O.V

The first thing Taehyung noticed whenever they arrived at home was the three cars parked in front of their house. "Kookie, are the hyungs here?"

"Yeah, I invited them over for a movie night. Is that okay with you?"

"Of course! God, Jeon you are so perfect, you know that?" Tae peppered his face with kisses before getting out of the car 

"Come this way Tae, we're gonna watch the movie out back." He smiled before taking the older males hand in his, intertwining their fingers tightly. Rubbing his thumb gently over Tae's slender fingers before bringing his hand to his lips "I love you, Tae."

"I love you too, Kookie!" He giggled. Both of their hearts were pounding so loud. Whenever they entered the backyard Taehyung was immediately speechless. His eyes filled with tears when he noticed the scene in front of him. "K-kookie..."

Jungkook guided him to a comfortable spot and sat him down in front of the screen. "Shh. Just watch." He smiled and gave Jimin the nod to press play

After the video was over Taehyung had endless streams of tears going down his face. Jungkook stood up and took his hands, bringing him to his legs and into a tight hug. "W-what is going on Koo-"

Jungkook cut him off with a short and sweet kiss. "Tae... I've practiced what I'd say if I ever got the chance to do this so many times in my head that I have no idea where I'm going with this. What I do know is that ever since I met you when I was 15 you changed my life. Starting with the little things such as bringing me out of my comfort zone, helping build my confidence and strengthen my bond with the other hyungs. Then beyond that, we started going to each other for everything. You encouraged me in whatever I wanted to do, which we both know was a lot. I always wanted to do something different and you never told me no. You would just smile and say Let's Get It! which kinda became the slogan for everything in our lives. 

I don't have anything to say about the four years we were a part other than I'm grateful. I'm grateful that you were safe during that time and that you didn't change. Though we grew and many things about our lives changed--you are still you. You've always been unapologetically yourself and I think that's why I fell in love with you all those years ago. 

There was a short time, months ago, when I wondered if I'd ever actually get to have you. I don't know why I would have those doubts but I did. Yoongi-hyung gave me a good smack and reminded me that I wasn't going to change anything if I didn't go after it." there isn't a dry eye in the backyard at the moment and Jungkook's voice was cracking with every word hearing the sobs coming from the man in front of him "Tae..thank you. Thank you for hearing me out that night on your porch. Thank you for not pushing me away. Thank you for being there for me for all of these years. Thank you for making me...me. I know without a doubt that I would not be the person that I am today if you were not in my life. Everything that I am, everything that I do, everything that I want...it all comes back to you."

"K-kookie.." Tae was wiping his tears and doing his best to stay standing whenever Jungkook got down on one knee in front of him. 

"Kim Taehyung, there is nothing and noone in the world that compares to you. I don't know what I did in a previous life to deserve being the man that was destined to find you...but I'm so glad that I am. I know that in this life, any previous life and any life after this one--I'll end up wherever you are. So, baby, will you please, finally, marry me?" 

No words. There was nothing Tae could get out in this moment so he just leaned down into Jungkook's arms and kissed him deeply. Causing an eruption of claps and yells from their hyungs as the two sat there in each other's embrace. "Jeon Jungkook...how dare you make me cry like this" 

Jungkook just smiled as he placed the ring on Tae's left hand.

 "Kookie...where did you get this?"

"A little lady named Mila may have helped me out" 

"OH MY GOD THAT'S WHY YOU WERE IN KYOTO"

"Guilty"

Tae was crying again. "I don't deserve you, Kookie"

Jungkook shook his head before bringing himself and Tae back up to their feet. Before he could say another word they were surrounded by all of their hyungs in a tight, warm hug. 

"I can't believe we're having our second Bangtan wedding. This is insane" Namjoon stated

After an hour or so of goofing off and reminiscing and tears, the rest of the males left leaving the newly engaged couple to themselves in the backyard. 

"Jungkook" Tae crawled into the youngers lap, snaking his arms around his neck and pressing their foreheads together

"Taehyung" Jungkook smiled and pecked his lips

"Thank you for giving me this beautiful life" Tae whispered, a few stray tears making their way down

"No, thank you for making our life beautiful" Jungkook whispered back before softly caressing Tae's nape and bringing him in for a passionate kiss. They stayed that way for God knows how long. Embracing each other and loving each other as if there was no tomorrow, even though they knew that there was. This was only the beginning. 

The first night of their forever.
