2 months later

Jungkook's P.O.V

The last couple of months Jungkook has done a lot of things differently. His phone call with Taehyung after bumping into Bogum was the reassurance that he needed. He knew that Taehyung meant the words he said and he was determined to wait as long as necessary but in the meantime, he was going to prepare himself for the life that he wanted to show Taehyung.

"Kook-ahh, Joonie is here you ready?" Seokjin yelled

Jungkook checked his reflection one last time and headed out the door smiling.

A short drive later and there they were meeting a realtor.

"I can't believe my Kookie is buying his own house" Jin stated sporting a pout.

Namjoon took him into a sweet embrace "but baby that just means you can finally move in with me, isn't that exciting?" as he turned the older around and pecked his lips. Causing them both to blush.

"Of course I'm excited for that but Jungkook has been my roommate for almost three years now. It'll be weird not living together"

Meanwhile Jungkook is in awe of the house he is looking at. The realtor is going on and on about the value of the home and the good talking points that any other home buyer would surely want to hear about but none of that mattered to Jungkook. This house already met all of the items on his checklist.

Flashback - 2017

"Ah, can you believe it Jungkookie, we're getting a new dorm again!!" he jumped on the younger's back ruffling his hair.

"Hyung! You're heavy!" Jungkook shouted even though it was a lie. Even if it were the truth Jungkook knew he would carry Tae anywhere he wanted.

Tae jumped off his back pouting but quickly stopped and started rambling again.

"You know, Kookie? As much as I love these big houses. I think one day I'd want something a little cozier. Just enough for me and the love of my life." Tae was looking at the sky when he said that with sparkly eyes and if he looked over he'd see the way Jungkook just stared at him in amazement.

"I feel the same way, hyung" Jungkook said softly while staring at the male in front of him.

END FLASHBACK

Cozy. Small and perfect. Just like you. Jungkook couldn't even hide the big bunny smile that was on his face. The realtor's voice broke him out of his trance.

"I'm sorry, what?"

Jihyo laughed "oh sir, you're just as bad as the last person to view this place."

Jungkook rubbed his neck nervously, a tad embarrassed for being completely absent minded during her tour.

"As I was saying, Mr. Jeon. There is currently only one other potential buyer but he is very interested. So if you are wanting this home I would suggest placing your bid by the end of-"

"I'll buy it today. Cash." Enthusiastically staring her dead in her eyes which shocked the woman.

"Oh sir, are you being serious? I can contact the owners. Of course I have to reach out to the other buyer and give him the opportunity to counter." She gave him a soft smile when she saw the sad expression on his face "but don't worry! The buyer already has another home. He hasn't decided if he is even moving to Korea yet, which is why he was so hesitant. The odds may be in your favor Mr. Jeon" she smiled brightly before stepping out to make the necessary phone calls.

Jungkook decided to go find his hyungs who were roaming the house on their own.

"Hyungs?"

"Up here Jungkookie!"

"Oh hey, I see you found your way to the master bedroom!"

"Kook-Ah, this house is lovely. But isn't this a lot of space for one man?" Namjoon asked with a raised eyebrow

Seokjin looked concerned "Jungkook...is there something you aren't telling us?"

The only people who knew of Jungkook and Tae's relationship status at the moment were themselves and Yoonmin. Of course the others found out about certain things on their trip back from Daegu but as far as they knew Jungkook and Taehyung were just friends.

"No hyung. I just wanted something that could last me the rest of my life. I've moved enough already." He chuckled hoping to brush off their suspicions. He also didn't want Taehyung to know he bought a home. He wasn't expecting the older to move in with him and leave Japan behind.

He just wanted to have a place of their own here, so that Taehyung felt welcome to come and go as he pleases. They could finally have a home that was JUST theirs.

He smiled at the thought and didn't notice the way his hyungs were staring at him in amazement, wondering what thoughts were going through his mind that gave the boy such starry eyes.

Taehyung's P.O.V

The last couple of months were insane for Tae. Not only had he picked back up modeling but he was in the middle of a huge personal crisis. All the while flying back to Busan every other weekend to help Jimin and Yoongi with wedding preparations was taking a huge toll on the man.

Finally having a free hour he decided to do what he loves most and take a warm bath with his favorite bath bomb. Water running and music blaring, he ran to grab his robe out of the dryer before enjoying a much needed soak.

He had one foot in the water when he heard his phone ringing. If it were any other day he would've ignored it, but he's been waiting to hear from his realtor for a few days now and was beginning to get nervous when she hadn't reached out.

"Jihyo! Finally!"

She laughed on the other line "it's nice to talk to you too, Mr. Kim...I'm afraid I call bearing bad news"

"Go on.."

"The house in Seoul has another potential buyer and they are offering cash. Today."

Taehyung felt a pit in his stomach. He had been hoping to surprise Jungkook with viewing the house when they were together for Yoonmin's wedding. He didn't want to make any rash decisions for the future without consulting the younger...who knew if he'd even want to live together yet.

"Mr. Kim? I need to know if you'd like to counter offer or pass on the home. I know how much you loved it but the owners are ready to sell as soon as possible."

He sighed heavily "Jihyo, can I call you in half an hour? I need to talk to someone about this."

She was reluctant because she had a feeling Mr. Jeon would just counter offer again but she decided to at least give Taehyung the benefit of the doubt. "Sure. But not a minute longer or I'm giving the home to the other buyer."

"Thank you! Thank you! Talk to you soon."

Taehyung still wasn't ready to mention this to Jungkook. They had gone back to talking on a pretty regular basis but still not to the point where they had established what they were going to do. With no one else to call he decided to confide in the grumpiest hyung he knows.

"This better be good shit head, I was about to sleep"

"Yah, hyung! We haven't talked in a week and that's how you greet me? Hmph." Tae was pouting as if Yoongi could actually see it.

"Are you gonna tell me why you're calling?"

"So I need your opinion. I was possibly looking at a house in Seoul to buy... for me and Kookie... I was going to wait and surprise him by viewing the house when we were there for your wedding but someone is making a cash offer on the place TODAY! What should I do?"

"I dunno kid. A house is a big commitment especially if you don't even know what Kook would want."

"I know, but we haven't talked about that yet and I don't want to discuss matters like this on the phone."

"Honestly Taehyung-Ah, I would pass on the home. There are plenty of beautiful homes in Seoul and nearby. You and Jungkook will have plenty of time to house shop together once you finally stop hiding from him. Be patient kiddo."

"Ughhh, you're right...this was my DREAM home hyung...but I'm sure there's another one out there. Thank you! Enjoy your nap."

Tae sighed as he glanced through the pictures he took of the home when he toured it. The four bedroom home was perfectly cozy and Taehyung could immediately picture him and his muscle bunny cuddling on the couch with maybe a puppy or two running around. Despite how much he loved the cozy home, He ended up Deciding he would rather enjoy the house hunting process with Jungkook once they knew what they wanted, he decided to delete the pictures and text Jihyo.

Finally allowing himself to submerge in the tub.

Jungkook's P.O.V

"Mr. Jeon!"

"Yes, Jihyo?" He asked stumbling down the stairs to meet the realtor in the living room.

"The other buyer backed out! Once you submit the cash offer and sign the contracts the home is yours! It can be ready for closing and move in one month from today!" She smiled brightly at the boy who was bobbing his knee in excitement.

"Hyungs! The house is mine!" He shouted at the couple who were still roaming upstairs.

"Congratulations Jungkookie! We're so proud of you!" Namjoon stated while Jin dramatically placed his hand over his heart

"My baby is officially an adult, I can't handle this pain"

"Yah, hyung! I've been an adult!" Jungkook started shoving Jin lightly. Earning a chuckle from the three adults in the room.

"Anyways! Just sign these documents here and I will start the closing process!" Jihyo handed Jungkook the paperwork

He looked around the house and smiled before taking the pen and signing the document. His heart was fluttering with the thought of bringing Taehyung here for the first time in a little over a month.

Though he was slightly nervous for the older's reaction...he couldn't wait to show him. Even if Tae didn't want to live here with him permanently he was okay with that, as long as the older knew that no matter where in the world he lived he'd always have a home to come to in Seoul.

A home that Jungkook would always be waiting for him in.
