AUTHOR'S POV

Laurent: "Well bebe. I think this plan will work".

Larry: "Oh it will work Laurent. Nobody blackmails us".

Laurent can hear how serious Larry is and he can't help but get mad at himself for not telling him sooner. He put him through pain, they fought constantly and they didn't have to. They came into this world together and no matter what they've been through they have conquered everything together. This shouldn't and definitely will not be an exception to that. Larry will always have his back and Laurent will always have Larry's...as it should be. On the flip side of seeing Larry so angry it does touch Laurent's heart because it only confirms how much Larry loves him. Laurent loves him all the same. Now considering how upset Larry is and Laurent certainly able to understand why he's not trying to make light of the situation...but he also finds it adorable seeing Larry in this manner and making his "angry face" so he smiles at him. That smile will instantly change Larry's mood for the better...and of course it should...

Larry: *smile* "What? Why are you smiling at me"?

Laurent: *smile* "Because you're so cute when you're mad".

Larry blushes then slowly drops his head as if he's really shy when he's really the opposite. Laurent chuckles at the adorable look...but he also has something very serious to say so he lightly lifts Larry's head with his index finger so they can look at each other...

Laurent: "Larry, I'm sorry again for keeping this from you. I know that if Franco told you about this first you would tell me right away". *pause* "I'm so sorry bebe".

Larry: "It's oki Laurent. We're back together, we will take care of Franco together and we will dance together". *pause* "I won't have it any other way and I know you feel the same".

Laurent: *smile* "I do".

Larry flashes his beautiful smile to Laurent then leans forward to give him a soft, warm kiss to the lips. When they pull away to look at each other...

Laurent: *smile* "It's a beautiful day bebe. Let's go out and have some fun".

Larry: *smile* "I would love that".

Now out and about on the resort Larry and Laurent are ready to spend some time together and make up for the time they were apart. Larry told him about the boat ride he took and how beautiful the resort truly is so he wants to take Laurent on one so he can see the same thing. Unlike the previous day where Larry thought he heard Laurent's voice and saw his face both are next to him now and he couldn't be happier. As the boat careens across the lake Laurent whispers to Larry that he was right...it is absolutely beautiful and just what they need before going back to the city to put an end to this Franco business once and for all. He can tell that Larry is feeling much better and blaming himself is a thing of the past. He's positively glowing and Laurent merely sits back and watches it thus bringing a smile to his face. During the ride the boat passes a petting zoo and they see children feeding some of the animals. Being that they love kids the sight of it makes them smile. They would spend the next hour on the resort with each activity being enjoyed just as much as the previous and after they finished they decided to go to a nearby market to buy some things for a home cooked dinner. Larry being the master chef he is prepared an authentic beef wellington with red skin mashed potatoes, fresh green beans and homemade bread. As they sat across from each other Larry chuckled at Laurent basically devouring his food. Afterward, they cuddled in bed and watched TV until falling asleep in each other's arms...

~morning~

Today is the day they put their plan into action and after the time they've spent together they feel completely rejuvenated to do so. They would be completely lying if they said they aren't nervous but the last thing either of them would ever do is let something horrible happen to the other or the career that they have worked so hard to build...

They checked out of the resort and are now on the train back to the city. As the train gets closer Larry is seemingly more nervous...

Laurent: "You oki bebe"?

Larry: "Just worried Laurent. I mean I didn't change my mind for this but we're not sure what Franco will do or how dangerous he is".

Laurent: *soft sigh* "I know bebe but that's why we have someone to help us".

With his head still down Larry nods then Laurent softly turns Larry toward him so he can look in his eyes...

Laurent: "You're the most important person in my life and I won't let anything happen to you".*pause* "We will be oki".

Feeling instant comfort in the soothing sound of Laurent's voice and the soft look in his eyes Larry smiles then nods once more. Laurent smiles and winks at him then they leaned back in their seats to relax for the rest of the train ride...

~hotel~

With an awesome restart to their relationship Larry checked out of his room to move into Laurent's. Now settled Laurent makes some very important phone calls with the last one being to Franco...

Franco: "So you finally feel better"?

Laurent: "Yeah I do". *pause* "Listen you have time to practice today"?

Franco: "Sure. I'll meet you at the dance studio".

Laurent: "Uh, no. Can you meet me at a different place"?

*brief pause*

Franco: "Why? The dance studio is fine".

Laurent: "Yeah I know but this place has more room".

There's another pause on the other end so Laurent is immediately concerned that Franco will say no due to being suspicious of this sudden change. Much to his relief Franco agrees so Laurent gives him the address. Then...

Laurent: "Oki. I'll see you soon".

After releasing the call Laurent looks over at Larry... 

Laurent: "You ready"?

Larry: *nods* "Yeah baby. I'm ready".

Laurent: "Let's go".

*****

When Franco enters the location agreed on he doesn't see Laurent anywhere in sight. Already frustrated he angrily calls out for him...

Franco: "Laurent'?! *pause* "Laurent"?!

At that moment he heard some noise and now he's watching Laurent, Larry and an unknown person come out from different corners...

Franco: "What the hell is going on and who is this"?

Laurent: "Franco. This is Marcus. Marcus, this is the asshole who's blackmailing us".

*flashback to when Laurent tells Larry about Franco's blackmail*

Larry: "It's oki. But I already have a plan".

Laurent: "You do? What is it"?

Larry: "Marcus".

Marcus is a long-time friend and he's one of those people that will hurt you something serious if you try to hurt those close to him. Laurent and Larry are definitely not an exception for they go way back. He's a slick fellow too. He can hurt someone...damn near kill someone and never get caught so after Larry mentioned recruiting him to help and Laurent agreeing he placed a call to him...

Marcus: *smile* "What's up Larry"? 

Larry: "Hey Marcus".

Marcus instantly heard something in Larry's voice so his smile slowly fades...

Marcus: "What's wrong"?

Larry: "Well something happened and this guy Franco is trying to blackmail us. I can't tell you why but it can be bad if he goes through with it so we need your help".

Marcus: "Hey listen man, you don't have to tell me anything you don't want to tell me. You know I'm going to help you anyway. Just tell me what I have to do".

Feeling instant relief Larry silently inhaled and exhaled before proceeding...

Larry: "Thanks bro. We need you to meet us in New York tomorrow. You call us when you're here and we'll tell you where to come".

Marcus: "Sure. I'll see you tomorrow".

Larry: "Oki".

Marcus: "Aye"?

Larry: "Yeah"?

Marcus: "You know you guys are like my brothers and I promise I will handle this dude for you".

Larry: "We know and thank you so much".

Marcus: "No problem bro".

Larry: "Oki. We'll see you tomorrow. Bye".

*end of flashback*

Franco: You assholes. I should...."

Marcus: "If you were smart you wouldn't try anything".

Franco: "Yo, shut the fuck up talking to me alright"?

Marcus just gives him an evil smirk...completely unaffected by Franco's attempt to be "hard". Franco rolls his eyes then looks at Larry and Laurent...

Franco: "So I guess you guys do want your secret to get out huh"?

Larry: *chuckles* "That won't happen. That's why Marcus is here".

Franco: *laugh* "You little weak asses. You can't handle me by yourselves"?

Laurent: "Yeah we can...but three is always better than two and we know what Marcus can do".

Franco: "*looks at Marcus* "So what you got"?

Marcus: *chuckles* "Yo. You better listen to Laurent. You really don't know me or what I can do to you so it's best if you stop with the tough guy routine". *pause* "Now my brothers said you have something on them that you're blackmailing them with and it stops here".

Laurent: "Yeah Franco. You know what you need to do. If you don't agree then Marcus will take care of you".

Franco: "Marcus won't take care of shit! I'm not scared of him. *looks back at Marcus*. "Fuck you"!

Marcus becomes enraged and charges at Franco to deliver punch after punch. Franco tries his best to fight back and manages to get a few hits...but it's as if they never even touched Marcus. Marcus eventually puts him in a headlock and Larry sees the opportunity to run over and frantically search for Franco's phone. He breathes a sigh of relief when he finds it...

Larry: "I got it Laurent! I got it"!

Larry is so nervous that his hands are trembling and he can barely search the phone for the pictures Franco took but once he does he breathes another sigh of relief as he deletes them...

Larry: "Marcus, you can let him go now. I deleted all the pictures".

Marcus listens to him and loosens his grip on Franco. Franco is bloodied and bruised while Marcus simply looks and smirks at him. Franco is even more pissed now so he turns to Laurent...

Franco: "You know something? I knew something was up when you changed locations on me. I'm just glad I came prepared".

Not even a second later Franco whips out a large knife and Marcus doesn't hesitate to try and take it from him. For several moments there's a struggle between the two of them as Marcus tried to pry the knife away. Laurent and Larry are motionless as they watch with wide eyes in complete shock as the scuffle takes place. Then something awful happens. Franco trips but the knife is in the air in full stab position. When they hears a loud thump Marcus let go of his grip on Franco then they notice Laurent on the floor and unconscious...

Larry: "Laurent"!

Larry runs over and kneels by his side. He sees the amount of blood saturated in Laurent's shirt and bursts into tears. He gently picks Laurent up by the back of the head...careful not to move him too much and with Laurent close to his body Larry begs through his tears...

Larry: "Laurent, please wake up. Please".

Both Marcus and Franco are in shock too even though Franco is the one who said he came prepared and brought the damn knife. Realizing he's responsible for this his natural instinct is to run away so that's what he does. Marcus quickly takes off after him because there is no way Franco is getting away with what just happened...but Franco is clearly a much better runner than he is a fighter and Marcus is finding it difficult to catch up with him. Franco is so fast that he doesn't realize the knife falls from his hand. Since it appears Marcus won't catch up and now seeing the knife that will have Franco's fingerprints on it he stops chasing him then bends down to pick it up. To avoid his own fingerprints being on it he rips off a piece of his t-shirt and used it to wrap it up. This will make it much easier for the cops to get the fingerprints they need. Now he has to get Laurent help so he takes his cell phone out to call 911 for the police and the paramedics. He walks back to Larry and Laurent and gets teary eyed himself when he sees Laurent wrapped up in Larry's arms, Larry's face buried his neck and crying uncontrollably. Marcus slowly walks over to him then squats down to gently speak to him...

Marcus: "Larry, I've called the police and an ambulance. They'll be here soon".

Naturally Larry can't say anything so he merely nods his head as he continues to cry while holding onto his love...

*****

When the police arrives Marcus gives a detective his statement while Laurent is being strapped to a gurney. Larry never leaves his side as he watches everything. Right before they load him in the back of the ambulance...

EMT: "Sir you're more than welcomed to ride to the hospital with your brother".

Larry softly nods and walks behind them. Once Laurent is secured in the back Larry sits next to him as they're transported to the nearest hospital...

~hospital~

Understandably Larry is a nervous wreck as he waits on the news of Laurent's condition. His tear stained face is enough to break anyone's heart. The detective didn't have a chance to speak to him beforehand so he shows up at the hospital to get all the information he needs on Franco...

Detective: "Mr. Bourgeois, I'm very sorry about what happened to your brother".

Larry: "Thank you", he replies softly. 

Detective: "You're welcome". *pause* "I understand this is difficult to talk about but I'll need the name and the description of the person responsible".

Larry: "I'm not sure of his last name but his name is Franco and I can tell you what he looks like".

Larry describes him and succeeds in remembering every detail he possibly can. The more he describes, the more the detective becomes suspicious...

Detective: "Thank you for the information Mr. Bourgeois. Your description matches someone who's been on the run for five years. There was a murder at a dance battle then and the person responsible was never found. The person who committed the murder looks exactly like the person you described. His picture has been in my office since then with no leads but now it's time to re-visit that case and work with detectives from that state. I'm confident it's him and it sounds like he laid low for a while but has re-surfaced to enter competitions again. We will definitely track him down, and I can tell you one more thing about him". *pause* "His name isn't Franco".
