Chapter Four
Getting out of the cell was the easiest thing, but finding his way back to the president's office was going to be a whole different story. Sean snuck out of the dungeon, thinking back to the meeting and what he saw. There wasn't much, but he distinctly remembered seeing Mark stuff the map into his desk. Sean walked through the halls and hid around the corner, a few feet away he saw Mark talking to someone.
"So, how are we on the laser?" Mark said to the scientist.
"We're close, sir," a man in a white lab coat said. "But I don't know how it'll work without the stone."
"I refuse to go back to that place!" Mark exclaimed. "The last time it happened, I got trapped in it."
"Then you'll have to get someone to take it for you," the scientist responded. "Maybe the girl or Sean in the dungeon?"
"Wade.." Mark said. "What did I say about making suggestions? Not to mention there is no way I'm going to give it to someone who is out to get me." Sean paused and watched as Mark and Wade walked into the laboratory, giving him the chance to get up and head for the office. He climbed up the stairs until he got to the office. Pushing the doors open, he stepped inside and started searching. He made his way straight for the desk, pulling out every single drawer until he was ready to give up. Until he noticed something off about the drawer. Sean knocked on it and heard the noise of a fake bottom. Pushing from underneath, he opened it and sitting right, there were not one but two drawers. Sean sighed with relief. However, before he could even celebrate, he heard someone heading for the office. Instinctively, he put the maps in his pocket. Sean waited, expecting Mark to enter the room. When the voices faded, he searched for a way out. But his eyes landed on Mark's computer. Curiously, he sat down and used his hacking skills he had and broke into the president's system.
On the screen, there were at least six different folders, some of which were empty, but there were two that seemed to be full. Sean selected one of the two folders and it opened to a long list of people who were also amongst those either going against everything Mark has said or those who listened to everything he said. Sean opened the other folder and sat there in shock. They were digital blue prints for a laser. Going back to the first folder, he scrolled through it and found Mark's older brother. He grabbed a yellow sticky note and pen, writing the name and the address.
"That's exactly what I need." Sean said and stuffed that in his pocket too. The doors to the office opened and there standing with the young assistant, Fiona.

Mark frowned, angry at Sean escaping and at the impact on which he had got out.
"What the?!" Mark exclaimed. "How the hell did you get out!" the guards that were outside entered the room in a quick sweep. Mark growled and looked at his trusted guards. "Don't just stand their Elmer, get him!"
"It's Edgar," says the guard. "Right away sir!" the guard approached Sean and while Mark assumed that there was no way Sean could escape, he'd been wrong, Sean ran for the window and pushed it open, a breeze blew into the room, Mark urged his guards to go after Sean however, by the time they got to the window Sean had already jumped out. Mark yelled and shoved stuff off his desks. He sat down in his chair and ran a hand through his hair. Everything that he planned for years was going down the drain. It was now or never. He remembered Fiona saying something about his downfall. Of course he thought little about it, now he regretted ignoring the warning.
"I warned you something like this would happen." Fiona said shaking her head, red hair moving with every move she made.
"Shut up Fiona," Mark groaned and flicked through his computer screen. "He may have escaped, but I know where we can cut him off." Fiona remained quiet, not risking to say the wrong thing. "He's going to see my brother. I'm going to get some soldiers together and I'll be paying a visit to my older brother."

Sean ran through the forest carrying two maps and Thomas Fischbach's address. Even though he didn't know where he was going, Sean hoped he would at least stumble across Thomas' place without having to run into any onlookers. It was less likely that he'd run into the soldiers; the forest was quiet, everything made not a single peep. Sean's stomach dropped, worried that maybe he'd probably got the wrong location. Sean came across a large two-story cabin, a truck sat in the driveway seemingly untouched. But through that, Sean would easily assume that the address matched Thomas. Sean raced to the front door and banged on it consistently until he heard footsteps on the other side. He stepped back just in time for a man with a ponytail and strong Asian features to step out.
"Are you Thomas Fischbach?" Sean asked.
"Who wants to know?" The man said, raising an eyebrow.
"I'm here to talk to you about your brother, Mark Fischbach?" Sean responded.
"I have nothing good to say about that man!" Thomas exploded and slammed the door in Sean's face. Sean rolled his eyes and banged on it once more. Thomas opened the door yet again. "What?!"
"I need your help, please!" Sean begged. At first, he could see hesitation on Thomas's face, but the man sighed and opened the door. Sean smiled and walked inside, thanking him for his kind service. The young man led Sean over to the couch, where the two sat down across from each other.
"What is it?" Thomas questioned.
"I want to know why your brother is a dick," Sean responded. "Surely he couldn't have been like this before." Thomas shook his head and fixed his ponytail.
"He was never like this," Thomas said bluntly. "Why do you ask?" Sean reached into his pocket and pulled out two maps, one with the secret message on it and the other that looked like a regular treasure map. Thomas was in shock, at least from what Sean could tell. "Where did you find them?" Sean narrowed his eyes. "Yes, I know about them. The one with the writing is a secret, a way to create the same society that you live in," Thomas continued. "But there's more to that second map than you know."
"How do we reveal it?" Sean asked. Thomas grabbed the paper from Sean and brought it to the bathroom where he had pulled out a hair dryer. "Um.."
"Don't ask." Grabbing the hair dryer, Thomas plugged it into the wall socket and turned it on. They fanned the heat over the paper until words appeared, revealing the words: Stone of Evil.
