"LOOK AT HIM!" were the words of everyone that was shouting at as many of the group had dropped all of their plans to go to eliza's apartment to meet the sweet cute new addition to her and jaden's family,

rocky.

of course kio was waiting in the apartment with amy and john, the three being the first to see rocky, them getting the puppies full attention until bryce, addison, josh, nessa, anthony and avani had come along to the apartment.

to say the apartment was busy, would be an understatement.

eliza was currently in the kitchen, alongside kio, the two preparing drinks for the group that had accumulated in the living room, the two teenagers gushing over how cute rocky was. kio then proceeded to hug his best friend, resting his head on eliza's head, making the girl furrow her eyebrows at the sudden affection from her best friend.

"what is this for? what have you done mr kio cyr?" eliza said, her words being mumbled against kio's chest as she returned the hug, wrapping her arms around her best friend, as he swayed them back and forth.

"i just wanted to give you a hug, you've been busy and i've missed my best friend."

eliza awed at kio's words, the girl pulling away from the hug, to see kio frowning at her, making eliza pinch his cheeks, making kio scoff as he swatted her hand away, the two teenagers laughing.

"no but seriously, it feels weird us not living in the same house, and having movie nights and spa days. we've both moved out and living our lives and it makes me feel weird."

eliza nodded her head, understanding where kio was coming from. because she was too busy trying to organise jaden's birthday, of which was yesterday, eliza hadn't spend time with kio, heck with barely anyone besides amy, of whom had been a legend in helping her effectively execute jaden's birthday.

"yeah well, you have me for a week and a bit, and then i'm gone again to orlando and france."

"yeah you lucky shit, can't believe you're going to both orlando and paris!" kio exclaimed, gently hitting eliza's shoulder, the girl gasping in response, the two smiling at one another. it felt like old times between the two, where they would hit one another, and then having a competition who would break out into smiles first, of which made the two teenagers realise they were actually not good at holding back their smiles or laughter to one another. but they still tried to have the competition.

it only lasting for like ten seconds before they both broke out into smiles and or laughter.

"anyway, enough of the sappy shit." kio said, eliza shaking her head, making sure kio was okay before allowing him to change the topic, to which the boy said he was fine, and that just simply missed his best friend.

"okay, so let's talk about you and riley." eliza watched as kio smiled at the mention of his girlfriends name, immediately warming eliza's heart, making the girl clap.

"why are you clapping like an idiot?"

"shut up kio, let me showcase my happiness that you are deeply in love with riley."

"okay fine." kio said, rolling his eyes, eliza taking a few seconds to process what he had just said, her mouth dropping, to which confused kio for a second.

"wait?! is that you admitting it?!"

"no..."

"OH MY GOD KIO CYR IS IN LOVE! IT'S ABOUT TIME!" kio slapped his head as eliza shouted, running into the living room to announce to the group playing with rocky that kio was in love, the boy wanting to strangle his best friend in this moment.

but he also couldn't help but smile as he did what he came into the kitchen to do, make drinks for the group, carrying the ones he could carry out to see jaden laughing at his girlfriend, kio's heart warming as he watched jaden watch eliza lovingly as she playing with rocky.

handing addison and bryce their drinks, kio came in and out of the living room, each time giving one member of the group their drink, each one of them thanking the teenager.

after doing his duty of handing people their drinks, kio sat down in between nessa and anthony, the three watching as eliza was glowing at the way rocky was running around her, the way he was running around everyone basically, the puppy clearly excited and overwhelmed, in a good way, at the attention he was receiving.

"you know, i won't be surprised if they get another dog you know." nessa commented, kio and anthony nodding their heads as they watched the couple playing with their dog, amy and john also taking turns playing with rocky, them portraying rocky as being their grandchild as eliza insisted the puppy was in fact her child.

"i won't be surprised if they move in together." kio commented.

"or have a kid." anthony chimed in, nessa and kio looking at one another, shrugging their shoulders.

"could you imagine eliza as a mum?" nessa questioned as she looked at eliza, the teenager already looking their way, shaking her head at the three teenagers.

"don't even think about it. no babies, just fur babies."

kio let out a laugh as he got up from the sofa, sitting on the floor beside eliza and jaden, kio immediately catching the attention of rocky, the puppy running over to him, the puppy falling over as he ran into kio's leg.

"okay this has made me want a puppy." kio announced, as he cuddled rocky, the dog licking his hands, making kio smile as the rest of the group nodding in agreement, each of them announcing they want a dog, or another dog themselves.
