I sat outside on the steps staring up at the stars, this has become a little hobby since we came to this shrine "Aina what are you doing out here, it's late" Amane said sitting besides me. I nodded and looked at her "I'm just thinking Amane that's all" I smiled at her, she raised an eyebrow "you do this every night is something bothering you?" She asked staring at me with concern. I laughed and shook my head "no no no nothing's bothering me, it's just I love looking up at the stars" I said looking back up at the stars "alright then I'll stay with you and we can talk like old times" Amane smiled looking up at the stars as well. "I would love that" I said watching a star shoot across the sky.

Amane laughed "so since you've been here have you fallen for a man yet?" She asked suddenly "haha yeah his name is bob the builder" I joked, Amane burst into laughter. I laughed with her "we are such jerks" I mumbled "why?" Amane asked "because we're out here laughing and being best friends and Akura ou is in there still mad at Tomoe" I said crossing my legs and turning toward Amane. She smiled and waved her hand "who cares he knows I need time with my best friend" Amane smiled hugging me "Amane I missed you when you left that night" I hugged her back "Aina I'm so so so sorry about that" Amane said. I nodded "it's ok I have you with me now and I wouldn't change whatever happened for all the money in the world" I said moving from her "well maybe for all the money in the world I would. I mean that's a lot of money and I wanna be rich" Amane joked, we both laughed.

I composed myself, Amane did the same once we felt a demon aura approach us "I think we woke the demon" I whispered to Amane who nodded and giggled a little. The doors to the shrine swung open "what the hell are you two doing out here! Do you understand what time it is!? I need my beauty sleep!" Akura ou yelled looking scary. Amane and I laughed falling over on the ground "sorry Hun" Amane calmed down staring up at him "Amane it's time for bed you too Aina" Akura ou said grabbing both our hands and bringing us to our feet.

I sighed and glanced up at the stars "Aina you coming?" Amane asked looking back at me "no, I'll stay out here a bit longer if that's ok with you two" I smiled at them "sure whatever you need Aina" Amane smiled walking up to me. She smiled brighter and hugged me "goodnight" she whispered "goodnight" I hugged her back. Amane pulled away and walked in the shrine "you ok Aina?" Akura ou asked staring at me, I smiled "yes of course" he raised his eyebrow before nodding and walking inside with Amane.

I dropped my smiled and shoulders as I walked over to the cherry blossom tree that was growing in the far side of the shrine, what is wrong with me? I sighed standing under it letting the petals fall around me. The wind blew with great force sending me back a little before I looked up, watching the stars through the branches of the tree. I shook my head and walked over to the stairs sitting down in my spot before leaning my head on the pole besides me. I should get some rest, a sigh escaped my lips, I guess I'll be heading to bed now.
