At Hannah's house it's in the middle of the night and Hannah can't sleep so she down into the basement they turned it into a second living room and Hannah is sitting on the couch watching TV

'Ok next time you leave tell me so I won't have a heart attack' Hailey says, Hannah looks at her

'Sorry I just couldn't sleep' Hannah says, Hailey sits down beside her facing her

'I know I can tell something is off about you since the other night after you came back from laundry, you jump every time I get close to your waist or neck, is it something that I did wrong that you didn't like' Hailey says

'No, no, trust me you didn't do anything wrong but I do give you permission to hurt someone else though' Hannah says

'Why and who?' Hailey asks

'The who is Austin and the why is while I was in the laundry room he came up behind me wrapped his arms around my waist and started to kiss my neck I could tell it wasn't you so I turned around and pushed him down' Hannah says

'As much as I would to do something to him, I think he did that because he knows that he doesn't have the balls to do that in front of me because he knows I would something to him, so he figures that he can do that when I'm not around and he just wants to get a raise out of me, whenever we don't pay attention to them they do something like Austin did to you so that way we give them attention but if ignore them eventually they will get the message and hopefully leave us alone' Hailey says

'I didn't realize that we were giving them what they wanted which is attention, until I feel safe again can you come with me to the laundry room' Hannah says

'Yeah of course I will, I would rather focus my time and energy on you, on our relationship, on me, then focus my time and energy on someone I hate because that's just bringing negative energy into this relationship and it's going to get damaged before it even gets started' Hailey says

'That's the last thing that we need' Hannah says

'Ok putting his hands around your waist and kissing your neck I can handle that because I can do better than that' Hailey says

Hannah smiles because she knows that is true

'And I know that you can handle yourself because you did push him down, sure I am mad that he did that to you but where I draw the line at is when he gets too close to you when I'm around, physically puts his hands on you like hitting you or pulls out a weapon on you then that's when I step in to protect you because then he's putting your life in danger' Hailey says

'The reason why I didn't tell you this before is because I didn't know if you would believe me or not because it's a he said, she said situation there's no proof that he did it besides my words' Hannah says

Hannah looks down and starts playing with her fingers and Hailey scoots closer to her and lifts Hannah's head up

'When it comes to him I will always take your word over his word because you have shown no interest in him I can see you turning around and pushing him down, I will always believe rather you have proof or not' Hailey says, Hannah smiles

'Besides you're not good at lying anyways' Hailey says, they laugh

'Yeah that's true, thank you for believing me' Hannah says

'You're welcome' Hailey says, she kisses Hannah on the lips

'Come on let's go back to bed because we have a long day later on' Hailey says

'Alright' Hannah says

What they don't know is Damian overheard everything so he leaves before they get to the stairs Hailey gets up first and helps Hannah up then they hear foot steps upstairs they look at each other

'Someone must be up' Hailey says

'Yeah hopefully not my dad or Damian' Hannah says

'Why?' Hailey asks

'Because if it was one of them and they heard what we just talked about they will do something to Austin' Hannah says

'Well it does sound like man's foot steps' Hailey says

'Oh god' Hannah says

'Would you rather have me deal with Austin or have Damian deal with Austin, because I know your dad won't come to our college and cause a scene, unless you are dying' Hailey says

'Yeah that's true, I think in this situation I would rather have Damian deal with him' Hannah says

'good answer' Hailey says

Hailey smiles and Hannah kisses Hailey on the lips and then hugs her

'These are the moments that I wanted to focus on more' Hailey says

'Me too' Hannah says, They stop hugging and goes back upstairs to bed

Later that morning they having breakfast and Damian is more quiet than usual Hailey's mom Ms. Simpson her real name is Jessica, Jessica looks at Damian

'Damian you're quiet than usual everything ok?' Jessica asks, everybody looks at him

'Yeah everything is just peachy over here' Damian says, in a calm and cold voice

As he takes a drink of his orange juice he looks at Hannah they make eye contact and Hailey looks at them then she puts her hand over Hannah's right hand and Hannah looks at her and Hailey smiles at her and Hannah smiles back at her then Damian goes back to eating

'Wow first I have seen Hailey smile in a long time' Jessica says, teasing Hailey, everybody laughs but Damian

'Yeah well you will be seeing that a lot more often' Hailey says

She moves a peice of Hannah's hair behind her ear and Hannah smiles

'I love you' Hannah says, which shocks everybody, Hailey smiles

'Wow bold move in front of everybody, but I love you too' Hailey says, they kiss

Which makes everybody at peace

'We actually been already been saying that a lot recently actually' Hannah says

'Doesn't surprise me' Hannah's dad says, they laugh and everybody goes back to eating breakfast
