"And Download!" Slapping the enter button I jumped and squealed loudly as the finished song began to download to my phone to share with the team. I hugged Naners to my chest and laid on my bed, I am so tired. I had been up all night putting this song together, I have training camp in a few hours. As my eyes began to close my phone ringing startled me, I got up seeing the caller I.D. was Daichi.

"Hello?"

"Hey Y/N, you about ready to leave to head to the school?"

"What? Daichi we still have a few hours."

"We have two hours to be there?"

"WHAT?! SHIIII~"

I hung up on Daichi and ran to my bathroom stripping my clothes off as I did and jumped in the shower, turning it all the way on cold to wake me up. Briskly I showered and got out running back to my room drying off, I put on underwear, A black long sleeve shirt that hangs off the side of my shoulder, white leggings and socks.

I grabbed the C.D from my computer, my phone, pink Nintendo Switch, all of my chargers, pain medication and bags. I hurried out of my room and into the kitchen, Shiko was either still asleep or gone, but she left me a bag on the table with snacks in it for me and the team. I grabbed a canned coffee shoving my feet in my converse and dashed out of the door.

Running down the street I checked my phone,

5:45

I had 15 minutes to run to school. Luckily I didn't live that far and if my little legs went fast enough I'd make it in time play them the song.

I rounded the corner of the school and saw everyone standing around waiting for me. As I ran my bags were bouncing on my shoulders causing me to stumble as I reached them.

"Finally." Tsukishima groaned pulling his headphones off of his head. I flipped him off as I held on to my knees panting hard.

"D-did you run all the way here?" Asahi asked taking my bags off of my shoulders. "Y-y-yes." I stood up and everyone winced at my appearance, Kiyoko walked to me moving some hair out of my eyes, "Did you get any sleep?"

Still panting I shook my head, "Nope. I didn't sleep, but I did take a shower but that's not the point. Okay so you guys know how people call us the Wingless Crows because of our losing streak?"

Every one of my teammates faces fell, I waved my hands vigorously at them "Bupbupbupbup!! Don't give me those faces, listen, we aren't wingless."

Noya looked at me confused at my analogy, "We just need to learn to FLY. I made something for you guys." I pulled the C.D. from one of the bags Asahi took , "Follow me." We all walked inside the gym they stood there as I went to the equipment and popped the C.D. into the stereo.

I turned to them holding my arms up in the air as the song began and I sang along as loud as I could

I walked up to Hinata and the other first years pinching their cheeks as I went down the line

I let go of Tanaka and grabbed onto Sugawara, him smiling and even had a tear or two in his eyes

I danced into Daichi's arms who dipped me down low and jumped with me as I danced more, true happiness filling me as I watched my team mates dance and smile

As the song ended I stood proud I'm front of my team, tears filled most of their eyes as they all ran to me hugging me tightly.

"THANK YOU Y/N!" Tanaka wailed in my ear, Noya clung to my side like a koala crying even louder, "WE DON'T DESERVE YOU!"

Hinata latched onto my front face buried in my chest, "You are so amazing!" The third years pulled them off of me, "Alright let her breathe you guys." Sugawara hugged me next, his arms wrapped around my neck as mine were around his waist. "Thank you so much Y/N."

I hugged him tighter, "No problem." We pulled apart and Daichi hugged me, "You gave them something I couldn't. I'm very happy about that." I smiled and was going to reply but I was suddenly picked up and tossed into the air by Asahi. I squealed as I began to fall only to be caught and thrown back up.

"Alright team! Gather around, got a few announcements to make before we head off."
We all gathered around Coach Ukai sitting in a half circle. Kiyoko brought in a box setting down beside him, "These are your jersey's. You will wear them during the training camp this weekend." Kiyoko began handing them out and handed me one with the number 19 on it.

"Y/N, uh I had to talk to the principal about you."

I looked up at him nervously, "What? Why?"

He knelt down to our level and looked me dead in my eyes, "Someone spilled that you were a girl to the principal."

My eyes widened as I began to panic, anxiety setting in that I will now have to leave the team, I won't be able to play with them again..I won't even know what its like to play in a real high school game. Who the hell spilled though? No one here would have told right?

I nodded my head slowly as Hinata and Yamaguchi clung to my arms, I felt hands on my shoulders and back. "Why the long faces? You didn't let me finish what I was saying before looking like I just kicked a puppy."

Coach stood up looking at Kiyoko who slightly smiled at him, "This isn't the first time a woman weaseled her way into a Boy's Volleyball team, and I'm sure this won't be the last, and with one of our players out the principal and the officials have agreed to let you stay on the team, since you joined as a "boy". Besides we need a team of twelve to qualify."

My head snapped up at him, a look of disbelief on my face making Coach laugh, "Are you serious?! Like for real?!" I jumped to my feet pulling Hinata and Yamaguchi with me, "I'm serious. It's also up to you if you want the other teams to know that you're a chick"

I screamed in joy as I hugged Hinata tightly swinging him back and forth as the rest of the team cheered and clapped.

"Calm down, calm down! We gotta get going now!" Coach yelled over our cheers and excitement. As we all filed out of the gym I pulled my phone out of my pocket waving it the air, "I also have that song downloaded to my phone if you guys want it!"

As we all piled into the bus I sent the link to our group chat so everyone could listen to it of they wanted. I sat towards the middle of the bus and waited for Daichi to sit by me, but he didn't even make eye contact with me, it's like his mood did a complete 360° on me. Instead he sat with Sugawara and Tanaka sat by me, his earbuds already in as he leaned his head back and closed his eyes. I actually felt a little hurt that Daichi didn't even acknowledge me, unlocking my phone I decided to text him...

Me:
Did I do something wrong...?

Daichi:
No

Me:
Then why didn't you sit by me? You just ignored me and walked past me.

Daichi:
Idk

Me:
Um...okay? Gonna tell me what's wrong? Is it because I went on a date with Noya?

Daichi:
No...it's just that...we can't continue what we were doing.

Me:
You mean have sex right?

Daichi:
Yeah. I found someone and I want to do things right with her...so we can't be doing that anymore.

I turned my head to peek at him through the cracks in the seats and window, he was looking out the window, his head leaned against the glass. Was I hurt? Kinda, I mean I trusted Daichi, we've been doing things for the last 4 months, and now he wants to stop? Well I can't be mad at him, we did say we weren't going to date and it was strictly sex. Still though.... He caught my eye and I quickly turned back around...

Me:
I'm happy for you.

Daichi:
You aren't mad? Or hurt?

Me:
No. ☺️

Daichi:
Thanks. I'm glad you understand.

I didn't reply back, I sat my phone in my bra and brought my knees up to my chest. Well I was kinda hoping that me and Daichi could have some alone time together at camp but I guess that flew out the window...I wonder who she is...

Me:
Is it the Girl's volleyball Captain?

Daichi:
Yeah, how'd did you figure that out?

Me:
Figured when she started to come around more two months ago. Explains why we haven't done anything since then.

Daichi:
I wanted to tell you sooner, but I couldn't...I was afraid you'd be mad at me. But when I saw how happy you were earlier I wanted you so bad.

I shook my head and leaned it against Tanaka's shoulder, he flinched in surprise but relaxed again letting my head rest there. Ugh... stupid boys...stupid Daichi... stupid hormones.

I reached in my bag that I carried on the bus and pulled out my Nintendo Switch and a bag of M&M's, I'll just play animal crossing until we get there. I tapped Tanaka on his stomach holding the bag out to him, he opened his hand as I poured some, "Thanks bebe." He chuckled and began eating them.

My phone buzzed but I ignored it, it was probably Daichi anyways. I know I shouldn't be mad or ignore him, but I am, and I will. I'll talk to him later when I've cooled down and processed everything on my own time. Tanaka started tapping away on his phone as I shared my M&M's by dumping some in his mouth as I played animal crossing.

"Aye, you okay? You seem kinda...out of it." I looked up at him as I chewed, I shrugged my shoulders at him, "I'm fine. Just...my first training camp with a bunch of boys I guess." Like hell I would tell Tanaka what was really wrong, the less they know about me and Daichi the better. It's none of their business anyways, Suga doesn't even know and me and him are just as close as me and Daichi. He tapped away again on his phone before putting it away.

My phone's buzzed again so I checked it, 8 texts from Daichi, 3 from Suga, and one from Noya. I clicked on Noya's bubble;

Noya:
Mind sharing some snacks this way Mamas? 😖

Me:
Lol sure. Stand up.

I reached into my bag pulling out more M&M's and stood up turning around to locate Noya in the back of the bus. As I looked I caught Daichi and Sugawara eyes, each looked worried, but Daichi looked guilty. Cutting my eyes to Noya who clapped holding his hands up, I threw the candy softly so the bag didn't bust on impact as Noya caught it perfectly, "Thanks Y/N!" He smiled as he opened the bag, "No problem." I gave Suga and Daichi a very small smile and sat back down propping my feet up in Tanaka's lap, he rested his forearms on my shins as he leaned forward playing some game on his phone, I went back to Animal Crossing trying to ignore the burning hole someone was staring into my skull.
