I heard a constant beeping noise and figured I must be in a hospital. I could feel someone beside me. I opened my eyes to see it was Thomas. My parents were across the room with Courtney sleeping. I moved my hand and it woke up Thomas, I forgot he was a light sleeper. He saw I was awake and he jumped up. He pulled me into a tight hug and kissing my head. I felt tears and assumed he was crying.

"How long was I out?" I asked. He started to calm down.

"You have been in a coma for two months." He told me still hugging me. His crying woke up Courtney and my parents. They rushed over and pulled me into a hug too. After about 5 minutes, they pulled away and started asking questions.

"Are you okay?" Courtney asked me immediately.

"I'm fine, it's happened before." I said but then regretted it.

"What do you mean it's happened before. " Everyone yelled at me. I put my head down. I don't want to tell them but I knew I didn't have a choice.

"Have you guys heard of the assassin The Mistress?" I asked as I lifted my head.

"Yea I have she's the one assassin that every assassin wants to be." Thomas said. I cringed because he's about to find out it's me.

"What does she have to do with this?"  My parents asked. I sighed, the truth is about to come out.

"It's because I'm her and I'm sorry I didn't tell you. It was too dangerous to and now that you guys know, you are in danger." I put my head down because I was ashamed. I didn't want them to know because there are going to be scared of me now. All I heard was silence. I look up to see them all looking at me.

"OMG my friends an assassin, that's so cool." Courtney yelled. I look at Thomas to see if he was going to say anything but he just pulled me into another hug. This time I hugged back.

"Is that what your job is?" My mom asked. I nodded. She did not look happy and I understand why. She just found out her daughter is an assassin. 

"What the hell is wrong with you? You're a freaking assassin. Are you out of your mind?" She yelled and my dad nodded in agreement. I flinched while Thomas just kept hugging me. I knew this would happen.

"I'm just glad you're not dead." Thomas said as he released me from his bear hug. I breathed in relief. At least he still believed in me.

"I thought you were going to be mad at me." I said in relief. They were happy to see me okay but only Thomas and Courtney hugged me. My parents stood at a distance. They were mad because I kill people as a job but it's what I do. There was a knock at the door and it opened. I saw my Nurse, Jack's girlfriend Diana, come in.

"Diana!" I jumped up and hugged her. I was so happy to see her because I don't see her often. She has always been my nurse because the organization assigned her to me. That's why me and her are such good friends.

"Hey I would get ready Jack is coming in 3...2...1," right as she got to one, Jack came busting threw the door. He saw me and hugged me. I hugged him back with just as much force. We pulled away and saw that my family was confused.

"Guys this is Jack, my partner and his girlfriend, Diana. Jack and Diana, this is my parents, Megan and Levi." My parents looked skeptical because he was an assassin too. Once they all shook hands with each other, they turned to Courtney and Thomas.

"This is Courtney, my best friend."

"Hi." She said as she shook hand with both of them.

"And this is Thomas, my boyfriend." I finished.

"So I finally get to meet the lucky man that has Jenna's Heart?" Jack said. I rolled my eyes because he's ridiculous. Thomas and Jack shook hands then Jack went over to Diana.

"Aren't you supposed to be checking up on Jenna?"

"Oh your right, Jenna will you pull sit down so I can check your scar?" Diana asked politely. I did as I was told because I know she will get done fast. After 10 minutes, she was done.

"Well your scar is just fine so you should be okay to go home today." She said as she was taking her gloves off. I thanked her and she walked out of the room with Jack following her. He peeked over the side of the door.

"Hey boss wants to see us tomorrow by the way." He said then he walked away. Once I was checked out, we went to a Diner called Jenny's to get some dinner.  We ate and talked about me. Well more like my job and Courtney was asking all of the questions. My parents wanted nothing to do with the conversation. After dinner, we all went home to go to school tomorrow. I told my parents goodnight but they just waved me off. I guess they were really mad at me. As I entered my room, Saint jumped on me.

"Hey boy how were you when I was gone." He just barked in excitement to see me home. I feed and watered him. I got changed into my pajamas which was a tank top and a pair of sweatpants. I laid down because I was tired, I fell asleep wondering what tomorrow would bring.
