Kieran and Arista's clone were locked up in a room by themselves, presumably the room opposite where Dr Kozak and Esperanza were, hiding behind sofas and trying to conceal themselves from the CCTV cameras located right opposite them.
Arista had insisted her father to at least inform her if either him or Esperanza had seen the trophy anywhere, but that never happened, even though Arista was patiently waiting for her father to text her.
"For goodness sake what's taking him so long?" Arista's clone groaned, making Kieran just stare at her blankly because he had no idea what the hell she was currently complaining about.
"What's taking who so long and what's taking this person a long time to do?" Kieran wanted to know, keeping his voice as quiet as possible.
"Doctor Kozak. My father. He promised me that he would text me when he's seen the trophy, and according to his GPS, the 125th trophy is literally in the room where he and Esperanza is right now."
"Maybe his phone died or something," Kieran suggested, giving up on trying to hide behind the sofa because the way he was hiding was so painful.
"It hasn't died Kieran!" Arista's clone corrected him, staring annoyingly at her phone, waiting for her father to text her.
"Realise that the more you wait for your father to text or call you back then the longer Doctor Kozak will take. Plus how do you know that his phone isn't dead?"
Arista's clone didn't reply straight away of course. She just shook Kieran vigorously like he was an addictive rattling toy or something.
"Because it's ninety seven percent!"
Kieran just raised an eyebrow at her in return.
"And you know this how?"
"I just do. Don't ask me any questions." She boasted, really tempted to just smash her phone on the carpet floor.
"Maybe he's mad at you or something. Ever considered that, Arista?"
Maybe he was still mad at her for destroying his "precious" gun...
It seemed like it still.....
Realising much much later that Arista's clone didn't actually reply, Kieran kept on suggesting ideas on why Dr Kozak wasn't texting or calling his daughter back.
"Maybe he hasn't got service."
"Maybe he hates you."
"Maybe this."
"Maybe that."
"Maybe-"
"Okay! I get it, Kieran!" Arista's clone shouted at Kieran, almost a bit too loudly for Kieran's liking.
"Do you want me to try and call him?" Kieran questioned, but then remembering that he had blocked Dr Kozak on his phone, said nothing else.
"Didn't you block him?"
"We're friends now. I'll unblock him."
Then a monotonous silence filled the room as Arista's clone was waiting for Kieran to text her father.
Going on Dr Kozak's contact, Kieran unblocked him from his phone, because he was really mad at him earlier.
How Dr Kozak had somehow managed to text Kieran even though he had been blocked, Kieran didn't know.
An eleven worded message from Dr Kozak was sent to Kieran about ten minutes ago. Kieran read it, and typed something back without him really even realising it.
Dr Kozak: Hey ... Can you please unblock me from your phone now, Kieran ?
Luckily Dr Kozak had had his phone on him when Kieran was texting him so there wasn't any hesitation whatsoever when they texted each other.
Kieran: You've just been unblocked. Happy now?
Dr Kozak: Thank the Lord!
Kieran smiled.
He also forgot to reply but then Doctor Kozak did that for him.
Dr Kozak: Anyway... What do you want, Kieran?
Kieran: I have to talk to you about something.
Dr Kozak: Sure thing. Go ahead.
Kieran: Have you and Esperanza found out where the trophy is yet? We've got like six minutes left to get it.
Dr Kozak gasped at the other side of DIE ANNA INCORPORATED as he read Kieran's text message, before typing anything else.
Dr Kozak: Wait. We were supposed to do that?
Kieran was slightly annoyed.
Kieran: Demetrius!
Dr Kozak: Kid ... Don't call me by my first name. Ever. I mean it.
Kieran: Why can't I call you by your first name?
Dr Kozak: Because our friendship isn't close enough for you to be calling me by my first name.
Kieran: But you let others call you by your first name, Forrester.
Dr Kozak: Don't call me by my second name, either.
Kieran: You're evil.
Dr Kozak: I'm not evil.
Kieran: Who do you let call you by your first name?
Dr Kozak: People.
Kieran: Esperanza?
Dr Kozak: Like I said. People. And no. Not anymore, it wouldn't really be fair on you.
Kieran didn't say anything. There wasn't a reply. He couldn't really think of one anyway.
Except from smiling because he had always wanted Kozak to treat Kieran and Esperanza equally, which was what he was doing from now onwards, thanks to the mission.
Dr Kozak: Look kid ... Are we just going to sit here having this pointless conversation about my first name or are we actually going to get Diana's trophy?
Kieran: The second one.
Dr Kozak: Good. And yes, I can read your mind even from a room away ... I've located the trophy. So I want you and my daughter to come to this room because we've legitimately got five minutes left to get it.
Kieran: Okay. But where's Esperanza though? And why won't you text your daughter back?
Dr Kozak froze.
Dr Kozak: Can't say where Esperanza is and didn't see her message because I lost service, but got service back again when you texted me.
Kieran: Why can't you say where Esperanza is?
Dr Kozak: Just can't.
Kieran: You've got to be kidding me. Why can't you just tell me where Esperanza is?
Dr Kozak: *imitates service breaking noise* Can't text .... Service breaking ....
Kieran: We're texting, you idiot.
Dr Kozak was slightly annoyed as he read what Kieran had sent him, typing something back behind the sofa located in the room opposite Kieran and Arista's clone.
Dr Kozak: Call me an idiot again, Kieran, and your death will be tomorrow. If you think that I'm joking about this then think again because I'm not.
Kieran: Okay. I understand. I won't call you idiot again, Dr Kozak. But one more question though. Where the heck is Esperanza, for goodness sake?
Dr Kozak: Phone's dead. Can't text.
Kieran: But it's like 90%!
Dr Kozak: Bye!
End of conversation.
Doctor Kozak breathed heavily to himself as he put his phone away and switched it off.
He was just about to get the trophy because the CCTV camera had eventually moved away from them, when all of a sudden Esperanza "resurrected", leaving the janitor's closet.
"Whoa .... Where am I?" She told Dr Kozak, Dr Kozak just staring at her rather horrifically.
"And who are you?" Esperanza added, blinking at the clueless doctor continuously.
Doctor Kozak didn't reply, just laser beamed Esperanza again, watching her faint casually unto the floor.
After all, that was what she got for laser beaming Cynthia Rose.... Twice.
Meanwhile at the other room, Kieran was slightly confused as he read the text conversation that he had just had with Dr Kozak.
Arista's clone had arrived back from the toilet, coming closer to Kieran as he did this.
"Hey ... So how did the conversation with my father go?" She enquired, coming closer to Kieran but not too close in case Kieran found that weird.
"It went okay ... He told us to go to the room located right opposite this room ... Although I'm starting to think that he's hiding something."
Arista's clone: Why though? What makes you want to say that?
Kieran: I don't know. As soon as I asked him where Esperanza was, he just went completely haywire.
Arista's clone: Haywire in what sense?
Kieran: He wouldn't tell me, he kept making up excuses to not tell me .. He pretended that his service was about to go..
Arista's clone: Well .. My father's like that sometimes. Usually does that when he's just killed someone.
Kieran gasped, and then so did Arista's clone.
Kieran: Oh my god.
Arista's clone: *raises an eyebrow at Kieran in perplexity* What?
Kieran: You don't think ...
Arista's clone (which everyone still thought was the real version of her): I don't think what?
Kieran: You don't think that ... Doctor Kozak has killed Esperanza... Do you?
Arista's clone: Well there's only one way to find out.
Kieran stared at her blankly.
Arista's clone: We go to the room he's in! Well, what are we waiting for? We've got like five minutes left, Kieran. Let's go go go!
