Diana Valentine was having the ultimate time of her life.

She was locked up in her room with a massive computer screen taking up majority of the space, staring at her computer, and watching videos of Kieran and Esperanza suffer in the booby traps that she had set them.

Her 22 year old son Martinez was there as well, slurping on a slushy, although he wasn't as happy as Diana was over this, he seemed to be quite mad at her.

"Aww, look at those poor little children suffer!" She told Martinez, cackling at the computer. Kieran and Esperanza had no idea that the two were watching them of course.

"I think using these booby traps was a great idea, don't you think, Martinez?" She had asked her son, who just frowned at her and didn't say anything.

"No. No mum, I think that it's a terrible idea," Martinez corrected her, shaking his head as he sympathetically watched Kieran and Esperanza cry their hearts out, begging for someone to help them.

Well, Kieran was doing that anyway. Esperanza, not so much. She had just possibly killed Cynthia Rose and did not feel bad about it.

At all.

Diana Valentine just stared at her son abhorrently, absolutely mortified on what he had just said.

"I'm sorry. What?"

"I said that I don't think it's fair on how you treat these little kids," Martinez repeated, seriously looking at her now. "Cynthia Rose and I have been trying to tell you about a million times to make up with Kozak, but you just refuse each time, keeping malice with the people that work for Kozak and Kozak himself even more."

Diana Valentine didn't say anything. She just rolled her eyes, and scoffed.

"Please. You know nothing, Martinez. I really think that you should shut up."

Martinez became really aggravated as soon as he had heard that, and soon after, him and his mother were full on arguing over this.

The argument ended by Martinez nearly killing Diana had Diana not realised this, then sent him out to his room, telling him that he was grounded.

She then left her room for a while, mainly to find Cynthia Rose because right now, Cynthia was the only child in which Diana could actually trust.

Diana had searched all high and low for Cynthia, not finding her anywhere. The place that Cynthia actually was, she didn't look at until last, and once she came into the room and saw her daughter, she screamed.

"Cynthia Rose?!" She hollered, coming closer to the room in which Kieran and Esperanza had currently been vindictively booby trapped by Diana.

"What the hell has happened to-" Diana then looked up at Kieran and Esperanza, especially Esperanza, because Diana had basically watched it when Esperanza had laser beamed her daughter.

"You meddling kids! You're the reason for Cynthia Rose's death, aren't you?!"

Kieran didn't say anything, Esperanza just shrugged.

"She's not dead though, you idiot. She's just unconscious. I heard her breathing just a few seconds ago."

When Diana had heard that, she became even more annoyed as she came closer to Esperanza's upside down face.

Because she was hanging upside down. Not that her face was actually upside down. That would have been creepy.

"I'm sorry. What did you just call me?"

Esperanza didn't reply for a while, just muttered the word idiot after twenty seconds, although said nothing else.

Diana then had a fight with her, the fight ending with "Those that work for Dr Kozak get no respect from me whatsoever" then turned back to speak to Cynthia Rose again.

It had turned out that Cynthia Rose was alive, and that she had just fallen into a coma for about ten to twenty minutes.

When Cynthia Rose had woken up, she was pretty confused on where she was and what the hell had happened to her, half of her memory lost completely.

"Mum? Is that you?"

One would have thought that Diana would have been delighted to see her daughter but she was full on yelling at her.

"Cynthia Rose! What are you doing here?"

"I was trying to help Kieran and Esperanza," she admitted truthfully, which was when her mother became even angrier and Chinese burned her by her left hand, taking her away to have a private conversation with her.

Diana: You were trying to help Kieran and Esperanza?! Are you stupid? *slaps her three times, slaps becoming even more painful each time*

Cynthia Rose: No mum. I'm just being helpful.

Diana Valentine: Don't you realise who they work for, Cynthia?!

Cynthia Rose: *nods vigorously* Yes. Dr Kozak.

Diana Valentine: And do you have any freaking idea in this world who Dr Kozak is?!

Cynthia Rose: *nods vigorously once again* Yes. A person, who inspires me a lot, somehow, for some reason.

Diana Valentine shot Cynthia Rose a really maleficent look of death, disgust and disappointment.

All at once.

Diana Valentine: Dr Kozak inspires you? What did I tell you about falling in love with my arch nemesis?!

Cynthia Rose: *rolls her eyes at the disbelief of it all* I don't love Dr Kozak, I've just always wanted to meet him in person. You guys used to date, and you've been saying some pretty nice and decent stuff about him lately. Like, in January. Although it's March now. Anyway. So that got me thinking. Dr Kozak seems like a really awesome person that I'd like to meet in reality one day. I don't love him. Not at all. He's not really my type to be honest with you. If you want the truth. If he was my age.

Diana Valentine didn't say anything, just stared at Cynthia and slapped her for staying way up her curfew.

She then also decided to ground Cynthia, heading back to her computer room to operate some more booby traps for those that worked at KOZAHKISTAN HEADQUARTERS.

In the meantime, Dr Kozak as well as his daughter's clone (who he still thought was his actual daughter) were on the train making their way to DIE ANNA INCORPORATED, because Kozak could no longer drive anymore and Arista obviously didn't have a driver's license yet.

And even if Arista had a driver's license, she would have probably failed her driver's test a million times before she could get it.

Because it was only about five o'clock in the morning, there was hardly anyone on the train, and the people that were on the train just weren't sitting next to Kozak or Arista's clone.

For some reason, Dr Kozak wasn't tired. He hadn't slept for over a hundred hours, and he didn't sleep on the train ride either. Neither did Arista too to be honest to be honest with herself.

Dr Kozak was actually considering falling asleep had his watch not beeped halfway, telling him that someone wanted to hologram chat to him.

He had checked who it was and ignored it, only making Arista's clone annoyed because it was beeping really loudly much to her irritation.

"Are you going to answer that?" She whispered at him.

Dr Kozak shook his head before saying anything else.

"No."

"Why not?" Arista's clone asked him, staring at him quizzically.

"What do you mean why not? It's Diana Valentine. And I don't like her."

Arista kept on begging him to reply, this reason mainly being because as Kieran and Esperanza had been booby trapped by Diana, if Dr Kozak didn't answer and accept her hologram chat request, then Diana could have made things worse for Kieran and Esperanza.

Dr Kozak rolled his eyes, as he picked up the call from Diana.

"Hello, Kozak, I just wanted to remind you that you're not going to get the trophy back on time."

Dr Kozak then opened his eyes, but only said half of his sentence.

"Hello Di-"

He was full on staring at her now. Literally, he would not take his eyes off of her hologram.

Strangest thing was, he was sort of staring at her in a lovestruck way.

"Kozak."

Dr Kozak just kept on staring at her. It was probably what Diana was wearing. She looked really elegant, which was very unlikely.

"Kozak!"

Dr Kozak stared at her, this time muffling something.

"Should I send you back to primary school where they teach you how to finish your sentences?"

Dr Kozak didn't say anything.

Where was the insult?
That nasty, little insult that he always gave her?

The insult never came out of Dr Kozak's mouth either.

"Demetrius, are you going to reply to anything I say?" Diana hissed at him, folding her arms and full on staring at him evilly.

Again, nothing came out of Dr Kozak's mouth.

"You're acting strange. You're becoming speechless. What's gotten into you?"

That one Dr Kozak actually knew how to reply to.

"I don't know. People change, I guess."

End of conversation, Dr Kozak sighed. Arista's clone noticed herself that he was acting unusually and not Dr Kozak like at all.

"Dad?" She asked him, where Dr Kozak didn't say anything.

Dr Kozak: *half frustrated, half not* Yeah?

Arista's clone: Are you okay?

Dr Kozak: Yeah. I think so. Why?

Arista's clone: Because usually you'd insult Diana up until the point where she hangs up completely but today it was just like you shut down completely.

Dr Kozak: Yeah well, people change.

Arista's clone: *kind of worried about her father now because he never normally acted like this* Is something bothering you?

Dr Kozak: Yeah. Kind of.

Arista's clone: Well, do you want to talk to me about it?

Dr Kozak: *reluctantly* Okay.

Arista's clone: So what's the problem, dad?

Dr Kozak: I don't know why but...

Arista's clone: *stares at him blankly* But what?

Dr Kozak: I really like what Diana is wearing. And I hate everything about her.

Arista's clone screamed really quietly, but didn't say anything else.

Arista's clone: Whoa. That's quite weird. What makes you want to say that?

It was like Diana had put a spell on Demetrius or something because Dr Kozak wouldn't stop thinking about her.

Dr Kozak: Diana and I used to date, at least before I married Astera. I only like what she's wearing. She looks nice.

Arista's clone: Whoa whoa whoa. What about Astera?

Dr Kozak: Astera is dead, Arista. I can't like someone that's dead. Plus, your mum wasn't who you thought she was anyway. She killed Agent Mordecai and I think she lied about it too.

Arista's clone: Okay so when did you realise that you still have feelings for her?

Dr Kozak: I don't have feelings for her.

Arista's clone: *blinks at him once before saying anything else* Anything else you like about Diana?

Dr Kozak: Yeah.

Arista's clone: What?

Dr Kozak: Diana has nice eyes.

Arista's clone: *absolutely mortified* Diana has nice eyes?

Dr Kozak: Well yeah Arista. I mean... If you think about it. They're a really nice shade of blue.

Arista's clone: Dad, she uses fizzy drink cans as hair rollers, and uses a knife for her mirror. Don't you think that's a bit insane?!

Dr Kozak: Yeah. It's insane.

Arista's clone didn't say anything.

Dr Kozak: But aren't we all insane once in a while?

Still no response from Arista's clone.

Arista's clone: *head metaphorically explodes in disbelief* Oh my god, dad! Don't you realise what's happening?

Dr Kozak shook his head.

Arista's clone: You're falling in love with your arch nemesis!

Dr Kozak: I'm not in love with her.

Arista's clone: But wait. So does that mean you're going to let her keep the trophy?

Dr Kozak: *stares at her abhorrently* What? No! Of course not.

Silence.

Dr Kozak: Not even if I got paid for it.

Moral of chapter: Just because someone is nice or ugly on the outside doesn't mean that they are on the inside and vice versa.

Some not so good looking people have nice personalities but some pretty people don't. Looks are deceiving so watch out! :)
