Arista stared at her father abhorrently, not believing what he had just said.

"So you don't forgive me for destroying your gun?" She repeated, continuously blinking at him. In the meantime, Dr Kozak was just staring at her, folding his arms, and tapping his left foot on the floor.

"Yes."

"Wait." Arista added. "You do forgive me for destroying your gun?"

Dr Kozak just stared at her really confusingly before saying anything else.

"What? No."

"You don't forgive me?"

"Yes."

Arista lost it. She was confused all right.

"I'm really confused. Do you forgive me or not?"

Dr Kozak did a massive face palm before saying or doing anything else.

"I meant yes," he interpreted, making Arista smile. "As in yes, I don't forgive you for destroying my gun."

Arista frowned, which was when her father flashed a really quick and cheesy smile at her, making her tug on his shirt until he forgave her.

"Why won't you forgive me dad? You know that it was an accident. I didn't mean to destroy your gun."

Dr Kozak: Arista, you don't realise what you've done. You've destroyed my entire life without that gun.

Arista: Destroyed? How?

Dr Kozak: *shoots her a death glare* Don't make me repeat myself, Arista. I've already spoken to you about why, that gun made me lose my telepathy and basically everything else except my ambidexterity and telekinesis.

Arista: Like I said, you don't need to kill people to make you happy.

Dr Kozak: Killing people doesn't always make me happy. People can make me happy as well.

Arista: Like who?

Dr Kozak: Esperanza. My family besides Valentina because she was annoying as hell. Ezekiel. You, sometimes. *winks at her, Arista notices*. At least when you don't annoy me.

Arista: What about Kieran?

Dr Kozak: Mixed feelings.

Arista then stood up from her seat, putting something small in her bag, which Dr Kozak knew what it was but didn't say anything.

Dr Kozak: Whoa whoa whoa. Where are you going? What do you think you're doing?

Arista: *eyes widen* Uhm... You won't understand.

Dr Kozak: Sit back down.

Arista: But I was just-

Dr Kozak: I said sit back down! *as he said the phrase sit back down he forcefully smacked her hand*.

Reluctantly, Arista sat back down again, not saying anything, groaning and cursing at him.

Arista: God. What's your problem?

Dr Kozak: *ignores her question, asks her something else* Arista, can I please ask you something?

Arista: *is uncertain, sounds a little bit nauseous* What?

Dr Kozak: *fake smiles at her* What's your most prized possession?

Arista: *just blinks once at him, doesn't know what to say* What do you mean, what's my most prized possession?

Dr Kozak: What's the most important thing that you own?

Don't tell him Arista, he'll destroy it...

Arista: You.

Dr Kozak smiled at her, then turned red, before frowning and smacking her hand again.

Dr Kozak: I said thing not person.

Arista: Can it be a living thing? If so, my oldest cat who you got for me when I was seven and is still alive!

For god sake. Why was she so naive?

Dr Kozak: Catrodite?

Arista: Yeah! Her!

Dr Kozak: Okay so, where is she?

Arista: My room... Why?

Dr Kozak: Well do your father a massive favour and bring her for him. *winks at her again*

Don't.

Arista: Stop winking at me. It's becoming creepy.

Dr Kozak: Okay. I'll stop. Just bring her for me.

Don't.

Arista listened, walking out of the laboratory with her bag, which Dr Kozak found suspicious and so kind of talked to her about it.

Dr Kozak: Oh and why are you taking your bag Arista? You don't need your bag.

Arista didn't say anything.

Arista: I take my bag with me everywhere.

Dr Kozak: No you don't.

Arista: Erm... I have to leave.

Doctor Kozak watched her leave with her bag, for some reason, and when she was away, he brought out the same knife in which he used to kill his sister.

As soon as Arista came back inside about five minutes later, he hid the knife away, as he intently stared at Arista putting her bag away and give Catrodite to Dr Kozak.

Arista: Why do you need her though? You didn't really answer my question.

Dr Kozak didn't reply, instead he had just placed Catrodite on the table, not really saying or doing anything.

When Arista wasn't looking, he had maliciously inserted a knife through her cat, where she miaowed one more time and then died on the floor.

Arista realised what he did about twenty seconds later, where she gasped and cried, Dr Kozak just smiling at her.

Arista: *yells at him* You just killed my oldest and most precious cat!

Dr Kozak: *yells back at her* That's what you get for destroying my gun!

Arista: I didn't know that it was going to take away your telepathy though! I told you that already! Two wrongs don't make a right dad. Plus violence is just never the answer!

Unless one had asked what had rhymes with silence.

Then violence was the answer.

But aside from that very rare scenario, yeah... Arista was right.

Violence was never the answer.

She annoyingly stared at him through tears, picking up her dead cat then slapped him hard in the face.

Dr Kozak was about to do the same thing although just then, the door knocked.

Instead of asking who it was, like he usually did, Dr Kozak looked through the CCTV camera to see who it was, and once he found out who was there, he dropped his strawberry flavoured lollipop and screamed.

"No. No no no no no no no!"

Arista was absolutely confused.

"What?"

Dr Kozak didn't reply, just pushed Arista backwards with his hands, back to his dressing room.

"Why are you taking me here?"

"Agent Ezekiel's son Septimus and your clone are back from their date. If he sees you here then he'll know that he never went on a date with the real you."

"Crud! I forgot about that!" Arista told him, going backwards.

"So did I. Just stay here okay? I'll text you when to get out. I love you, best daughter ever. And you're forgiven."

"After you destroyed my most prized possession? Seriously!" Arista frowned.

"At least I forgave you right?"

Dr Kozak kind of had a point though, Arista couldn't lie...

Arista smiled faintly, and hugged Dr Kozak for about three seconds before locking the door, Dr Kozak attending to the door.

He opened it, where Arista's clone and Septimus just couldn't stop laughing as they went inside.

"Hey... How'd the date go?"

"It was amazing! Your daughter really knows how to crack me up!" Septimus told him, wrapping his arms around Arista's clone's waist and kissing her.

Dr Kozak just fake laughed and ran a hand through his black hair, not saying anything.

"Thanks again for letting your daughter and I go on a date, and I'm sorry for the inconvenience, especially seeing as it's 5am in the morning."

"No worries!" Dr Kozak yelled frustratingly, internally having a massive panic attack and hyperventilating. Septimus realised this, and found it weird if he hadn't asked him about this.

"You... okay?"

Dr Kozak nodded really quickly, blowing into and out of an air bag.

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah. Sorry. Just having a panic attack. That's what happens to me when I'm about to faint. Don't mind me."

Septimus stared at him weirdly, Arista's clone doing the same thing, although that didn't last for long.

Unfortunately, the real Arista came out, claiming that she forgot something. In the meantime, Dr Kozak was making some hand gestures for her not to come, but she didn't listen.

"What part of don't come out until I text you don't you understand?!" He mouthed at her.

"I'm sorry. I forgot something really important!" She yelled, taking her phone from Dr Kozak's table and heading back inside.

It was then that Septimus saw her, stopping what he was doing and just stared at her.

"Hang on... Why are there two Aristas?" He told Dr Kozak, then shook him. "You see two of her too, right?!"

"Yeah..." Dr Kozak told him, fiercely and forcefully grabbing his hand, telling him to stop shaking him. "Look. Septimus. We need to tell you something," he added, shooting his daughter a malignant stare.

"Hang on. If that's Arista," he told him, pointing at her. He then turned around and pointed at her clone straight afterwards. "Then who's that?"

"Arista's clone," Dr Kozak answered for him.

"Wait. So I've been dating a clone this whole time? Arista, why didn't you just tell me that you didn't want to go out with me instead of making a clone and faking everything?"

Arista sighed, not saying anything. Dr Kozak could tell she was stressed, so then decided to reply for her.

"Septimus, look. It was all my fault, okay? You can't blame Arista because she didn't do anything. I forced my daughter to come and stay here with me, not letting her go on a date with you. She kept begging me to, and I said no, and I'm guessing she must have gotten so fed up at me that she just decided to clone herself, so that she could go on a date with you. I'm really sorry. Please don't be mad at her. If you want to be mad at anyone, pick me, okay?"

Dr Kozak sighed, Septimus just looking at him weirdly. Then turned to Arista after a while.

"Arista... Is this true? You did all this for me?"

Arista nodded real slowly, Septimus just looking emotionlessly at her, not saying anything.

Then he smiled at her.

"That's the cutest and nicest thing anyone has ever done for me. Thanks!"

Arista was a bit surprised , especially when Septimus had hugged her unexpectedly.

"I'm sorry for lying."

"It's cool. I think it's cute."

"Really?"

Septimus stopped hugging her, and just stared straight at her, Arista doing the same thing to him.

"Yeah. Plus I kind of figured you were a clone anyway."

"Really?" Arista was surprised. "How?"

"There was a red button at the back of her neck. Well played, Arista. Well played."

Then without warning anyone, Septimus was off. And so was Arista, leaving just Dr Kozak and Arista's clone at his laboratory at 5AM in the morning.

Until Arista came back.

Moral of chapter: Even if they don't deserve it, you should forgive others for their trespasses (wrongdoings). Don't hold grudges against anyone because it's really not worth it in the end.
