Chapter 78- Arista Outrages Kozak
Do you guys like Arista? I don't. And I don't even know why. She's kind of annoying, haha.
Inspirational quote: Stay humble, work hard and always be kind! Treat people the way you want to be treated and surely they will do the same thing to you as well.

Dr Kozak stared at his dead godfather one more time, and couldn't help but smile because he had really killed him.
"See? I told you that you weren't going to get away with telling my cousin to kill my son," he muttered to his dead godfather, trying to head for the door.
He went across to the door, and realising that Professor Florentine had done something to it, cursed really loudly.
"Oh yeah. This idiot locked the door. And he hid the fact that he locked the door really well. God, how the hell am I supposed to get out?"
Dr Kozak did some searching of Professor Florentine's office for a while, trying to see if there was an alternative key somewhere, but unfortunately that never happened.
Not realising that the solution to getting out of the room without the key was right on top of him, literally, Dr Kozak looked up, sighing in relief and then somehow gave himself a leg up.
"Perfect... I'll just take the air ventilator.... There's no harm there is there?"
He tried "unlocking" the air ventilator, which took about ten odd minutes and he went of out it.
Dr Kozak was also seriously kidding himself when he thought that he was out of Professor Florentine's office for good.
"I'm free!" He yelled to no one in particular when he was inside of the air vent, trying to rescue himself out.
"I'm free! I'm free!"
Yeah, keep kidding yourself, Demetrius, you're really not.
"I'm-"
Dr Kozak then fell out at the other side of the air vent, completely confused.
"Still in the same place?!"
Dr Kozak was utterly dumbfounded.
"Like, how?" Dr Kozak muttered to himself, half annoyed, half bewildered.
It probably would have helped a lot had Dr Kozak read the sign of the air vent before entering the air vent.
Warning! This is not an air vent! It's a 'faulty' one. If you go inside it and come out again, you will most likely end up in the same place.
"You've got to be kidding me," Dr Kozak whispered, saying the s word to himself again.
He then tried using his purple teleporter which didn't take him anywhere because Dr Kozak then realised that his teleporter was out of charge and couldn't teleport him anywhere unless and until he had fully charged it again.
"Wow, then I guess that there really isn't a way for me to get out of here after all." Dr Kozak whispered to himself, staring annoyingly at his dead godfather once again.
But wait.
There was a way to get out after all. There were four air vents in the room altogether, two pairs of them in total.
Dr Kozak had taken the "faulty" one... But not the other one.
As he was about to take the correct air vent, he then stopped because he had heard a vibrating sound in his pocket, which Dr Kozak was perplexed on.
He assumed that that was his phone, which it was, so as a result of that, Dr Kozak brought out his phone, which he stared at in disbelief.
"Hang on... How did my percentage get higher? It was 37 percent and it's somehow jumped to 93, without me even charging it. And I thought that this phone was off."
Dr Kozak didn't say anything else as his phone vibrated a fifth time, telling him that he had just received four text messages from the same person.
How the notifications went on Dr Kozak's phone? Here:
You have 705,621 new text messages (over 75,000,000 unread).
You've just got four new ones from the same person.
And underneath that showed the text messages and the person that had sent Dr Kozak the text messages just now.
Kieran
Kieran
And his name appeared about two more times.
Dr Kozak was confused... why was Kieran texting him so many times?
He read the four text messages that Kieran had sent him just now, where Dr Kozak became annoyed at the first one, became even angrier at the second one, practically cursed swear words of annoyance at the third one and completely shouted Kieran's name on the fourth one.
"I can't believe they got lost. And they nearly asked a stranger to help them. Imbeciles," Dr Kozak told himself, typing something back super swiftly, seemingly still annoyed at Kieran and Esperanza.
He then exited the air vent, and yes, it did take him out of Professor Florentine's office and into the hallway, Dr Kozak screaming all the way because he didn't know how to control himself.
Meanwhile, his daughter Arista was waiting for him in the hallway like she said she would, and when she saw her father coming out of the air vent, screamed and helped him even though he completely collapsed on her.
Arista screamed in pain as her father was right on top of her, then realising that he was right on top of her, got off of her instantaneously and then gasped in horror over what he had just done.
"Oh my gosh! Arista, I am so so sorry," he told her, helping her up.
"You okay?" He asked her anxiously, staring at her as she placed a hand on her head.
"Yeah. You?"
Dr Kozak lied and nodded.
"And why did you go through the air vent way?" She wanted to know, which Dr Kozak didn't reply for a while, really trying to conceal the fact that he had just maliciously murdered his godfather.
"Don't worry.... I just wouldn't recommend it," he answered. "Also, why have you changed trousers?"
"These ones were more comfortable, the others ones weren't as comfortable after a while," She told him, raising an eyebrow at him.
"Oh."
Silence, then:
"Oh, God. I just read your mind. You didn't have to tell me where they were the least comfortable! Jesus Christ."
Arista just laughed, not saying anything in return.
"Oh and Arista?" He asked her, where she just looked at him, remaining silent as he placed an arm around her neck, nearly strangling her.
"Please do everyone a massive favour and don't die before your time. Honestly. You're my only child left. Actually, you're the only person left in our family except me that isn't dead. Please, just don't die before your time. I can't lose you, you're only 16."
Arista nodded instantly, symbolising that she understood.
"Okay, Dr Kozak. I promise that I won't do anything that will make me die before my time."
"Good." Was all Dr Kozak was bothered to say back. "And, I'm sorry I took so long."
Arista just smiled at him again.
"Also... Why did you take the air vent way?"
"I don't know what you're talking about," Dr Kozak fibbed helplessly, looking at everywhere except Arista's face.
"Dad," she sounded really stern now, indicating that she wasn't joking. "What's going on?"
"Nothing that you need to know about," Dr Kozak told her, looking away from her the second after he looked at her.
Arista was noticing her father's unorthodox actions and tried to read his mind, but the same thing happened, she couldn't because he wasn't thinking anything.
"What happened between you and Professor Florentine?"
I killed him, maybe? Dr Kozak wanted to tell her, but didn't.
"Seriously."
Dr Kozak whispered why because he gave up trying to hide killing Professor Florentine from her because Arista could see straight through him. Plus she could read minds as well, much to Kozak's irritation.
"You killed your godfather? Seriously, dad!"
Dr Kozak just rolled his eyes in disbelief.
"Look I'm sorry but he told agent Sylvester, my cousin, to kill Agent Marcel, my son, and your brother. I had to kill him!"
Arista: Okay... Fair enough. Is there another reason on why you decided to kill him?
Dr Kozak: Yes. He told me that it's either I kill Esperanza or he kills me.
Arista: Then why didn't you just let him kill you?
Dr Kozak: Because I'm too young to die.
Arista just smacked him, which Dr Kozak didn't know was playfully or not, but either way, it still really hurt.
Arista: Dad, you're like 40!
Dr Kozak just frowned at her.
Dr Kozak: Is it June 20th?
Arista: No.
Dr Kozak: Is it my birthday?
Arista: June 20th is your birthday, Dr Kozak! And no.
Dr Kozak: Then I'm not 40. I'm not even 36 yet, so where you got 40 from, I may never know.
Arista: Then why didn't you just kill Esperanza?
Dr Kozak didn't reply, just kind of turned red, not saying anything.
Arista: Dad....
Dr Kozak: It's her birthday. Why would I do that? I can be hostile but not that hostile. Jeez.
Arista: True but I feel like there's another reason.
Dr Kozak: There isn't but Professor Florentine said that he wanted to kill me for making the game that killed both Lauriel and Anastasia, but I didn't. He did. And in case you're wondering, Professor Florentine wanted Esperanza to die as apparently she had discovered the shortcut that had killed Lauriel and Anastasia in the first place, but this was way before their test.
Arista didn't reply.
Until she said something that had changed Dr Kozak's life forever.
"Oh and dad? That reminds me. You can't keep on killing people."
Dr Kozak just looked at her once in return.
"What do you mean? What are you trying to say?"
Arista didn't say anything major, just snatched Dr Kozak's gun from his jacket pocket when he wasn't looking.
"Why have you got that! I need that!"
Arista just glanced at him once, shaking her head, before reaching for something in her pocket that seemed to have been some kind of laser, or something that had made objects disappear.
"Whoa whoa whoa. Why have you got that?!"
"You don't need a gun and you don't need to kill people to make you happy dad. I'm sorry but I need to destroy this."
This was really confusing for Dr Kozak- firstly Arista was on Dr Kozak's side about him having a right to murder Professor Florentine, now she was against him, and wanted to destroy his gun?
"You can't destroy that gun!"
"I can. And I will."
Dr Kozak and his daughter were arguing for a long long time, not realising the hazardous damage that they were currently causing to all of KOZAHKISTAN HEADQUARTERS by accidentally shooting the gun everywhere.
"You just nearly shot my leg !" Dr Kozak howled at her, looking down at it.
"Maybe you deserved to nearly have your leg shot! Just like you deserve to have this gun be taken away from you."
Dr Kozak didn't reply. He tried to stop her hopelessly as she used her laser to zap his gun and make it vanish forever, and it worked.
He didn't have enough time to stop her because when he did, the gun was already gone forever.
"You just destroyed my gun!" Dr Kozak cried out to her. "Don't you realise what you've just done to me?!"
"Yes. I've made you happy and live a perfectly normal life forever."
"No, Arista," he corrected her, becoming really really mad at her. "I can't read minds anymore! I've lost my telepathy, and it was all because you destroyed that gun!"
