Chapter 63- Holographic Elephant

Inspirational quote: Dear stress... Let's break up.

Meanwhile at DIE ANNA INCORPORATED...

Diana was spinning around in her spinning chair, watching Dr Kozak, Agent Ezekiel, Kieran and a sleeping Esperanza think that they had escaped from the elephant when they really hadn't.

She had clandestinely used a CCTV camera to spy on Dr Kozak and everything that he was doing, which Dr Kozak obviously didn't know about, and was laughing her head off as she watched the elephant, her elephant, which was holographic but looked real try to kill everyone alive.

She was having the ultimate time of her life bursting out with laughter when suddenly her fifteen year old daughter Cynthia Rose came up to her, a bit confused on what was so funny.

"Mum, it's two am, what are you still doing awake?" She groaned, yawning.

Diana Valentine just told Cynthia Rose to keep quiet, as she watched Dr Kozak drive his car really fast to escape from the holographic elephant that had been chasing them.

"Dr Kozak and his 'team' are coming here of course," she told her daughter, staring at her spitefully. "They are trying to steal my trophy and I need to stay awake to prevent them from doing that. This has almost nothing to do with you, Cynthia Rose, so go back to bed!"

Cynthia Rose didn't listen to her mother of course , she hardly ever did really, at least once she thought about it.

She came up closer to Diana's massive computer screen that was taking up majority of the space in the living room, staring at what Diana was watching.

"Jeez..." Cynthia Rose trailed off, stretching and yawning once again. "What is that ginormous thing?"

"A giant grey expired waffle, what do you think, Cynthia Rose? It's an elephant of course."

"You got an elephant to kill Dr Kozak?" Cynthia Rose replied, almost hyperventilating.

Diana Valentine nodded, then smiled impishly to herself, turning back to face the computer again.

"Calm down. And yes, although it's holographic. I just made it look real. Dr Kozak needs to die. I hate it when he's happy and I hate the fact that he's still alive!"

Cynthia Rose didn't know what to say, she didn't even like her mother or understand what her problem was with Dr Kozak, they were best friends in the past weren't they?

"What happened between you two again, that you're now sworn enemies?" Cynthia Rose wanted to know.

Her mother went insane just thinking about it. She slammed her left hand on her computer table, spinning around to see Cynthia Rose once again.

"He broke a promise we made never to tell anyone-"

"Didn't you break the promise?"

"Shut up!" Diana Valentine hollered, looking like she was about to vindictively murder her one and only daughter.

"Anyway," she continued, sitting down, but still kept the elephant video going on on her computer for some reason. Most likely for amusement.

"I really need to kill Dr Kozak. Only one person can have that golden trophy here and it's me, not him!"

Cynthia Rose genuinely didn't care anymore about this. She rolled her eyes in disbelief, but once she remembered that her mother had mentioned something about killing Dr Kozak, she knew she had to say something about that.

"Wait! You want to kill Dr Kozak? But why? You wouldn't dare do that, would you?"

"I will. And I can, there's nothing stopping me. Why not?"

"But Dr Kozak is so handsome!" Cynthia Rose ranted. "He has the prettiest eyes and the cutest smile, mum, please don't kill him!"

Once again Diana Valentine slammed the table, with her right hand this time, making the whole of her living room vibrate.

"Cutest smile? Are you calling my arch nemesis cute?" She shouted at her daughter.

"But he is cute, mum! I mean, for a thirty five year old man, he's really really hot."

"Just because Dr Kozak looks cute doesn't mean that he is cute, Cynthia Rose." Diana Valentine barked at her daughter, in absolute exasperation this time round. "Looks can be very deceiving."

"Also he's married. So don't even think about it, young woman."

Cynthia Rose shook her head vigorously, not saying anything.

"Actually, mother..." Cynthia Rose told Diana, coming up even closer to her than last time.

"...Dr Kozak killed his wife, Astera. Would you say he's a widower? Hmm... I don't know."

Diana Valentine smiled to herself.

"He killed his wife, huh?"

"And long lost daughter, Lauriel, yes," Cynthia Rose added, nodding her head.

Diana Valentine just looked at her blankly, asking her how she knew this, which made Cynthia Rose fall completely silent.

"Err... Let's just say that I've been stalking- uh- I genuinely don't know," she lied, turning red.

Her mother just looked at her confusingly once again, not saying anything.

"I mean.. Who would kill both their wife and long lost daughter?"

Cynthia Rose scoffed.

"Pffft. You can talk. You killed dad and all of my ten brothers."

Diana Valentine shot her daughter a very annoyed look, aiming a gun at her but for some reason changed her mind halfway.

"You never know when to stop talking, do ya, Cynthia Rose?!" She practically shouted at her.

"I'm sorry, mum! Just please don't kill Dr Kozak. It would be my dream to meet him in person!"

Diana Valentine shook her head, and then looked away from her irritating daughter.

"Nope. I'm killing him, whether you meet him or not."

"But-"

"I'm killing him, shut up!"

"I really want to meet Dr Kozak..."

"I'm killing Dr Kozak, end of story!"

And with saying that, both of them had remained silent as they watched the rather hilarious clip of Dr Kozak, Agent Ezekiel, Kieran and still a sleeping Esperanza get chased to death by DiaVanille's immense although holographic elephant.

Back at Dr Kozak's/ Agent Mordecai's car...

Dr Kozak had luckily just escaped getting stomped to death via Diana's elephant (which he didn't know was Diana's or holographic) and right now, all four of them were literally about thirty seconds away from DIE ANNA INCORPORATED.

"Good. Thank the lord that's over!" This was coming from Dr Kozak, whose eyes were pouring out tears, clothes were practically on fire and hands were also bleeding.

"You guys all okay?" He asked everyone, mainly Kieran and Esperanza as he was now helplessly staring at the rear view mirror at Kieran.

"Damn, that elephant was really aggressive, thank God the car somehow threw it across London Bridge..." Agent Ezekiel trailed off, where Dr Kozak just grinned and looked at Kieran again.

"Kieran," Dr Kozak said.

Kieran just wheezed a tranquil 'yes?' where Dr Kozak just looked at him anxiously.

"You okay?"

Kieran wheezed the same thing but when Dr Kozak had asked him if Esperanza was okay, Kieran genuinely didn't know whether to say yes or no.

"Uhm... You could say that?" Kieran replied after a while, seriously looking at Esperanza.

"What do you mean 'you could say that'? Is Esperanza alright back there? Is she alive?"

Kieran muffled yes but made it sound more of a question than a statement.

"Yes. Esperanza's alive."

Dr Kozak smiled.

"Hopefully."

"Hopefully?" Dr Kozak repeated really loudly, looking back at both of them, especially her.

"Chill, sir. I was just messing with ya. She's fine."

Although Kieran wasn't actually a hundred percent certain about it.

Kieran didn't know what else to say so he had overheard Agent Ezekiel and Dr Kozak talk about him and Esperanza behind their backs.

"Say... Who are those kids back there? Do you know them?"

Dr Kozak rolled his eyes in disbelief.

"Nah, Ezekiel, they're just strangers I just so happened to magically find on the way and kidnap them, taking them to this car. Of course I know both of them!" Dr Kozak snarled, pressing the honk of his car for no reason again.

"Jeez, Demetrius, I was just asking you a question. No need to get so sarcastic about it," Ezekiel muttered, looking away from Dr Kozak and resting his hand on the window.

"Plus I wouldn't have known. How do you know them?"

"Kieran, I was his doctor when he was eight and Jesus, his mother was crazy like mad. Esperanza, well I'm not really supposed to know her but she has a cousin called Maria Grace and I was one of her science teachers at her primary school and Esperanza went to the same primary school as Maria Grace and they were in the same class for everything so... Yeah. That covers it."

Maria Grace had two cousins: Anastasia and Esperanza. They just so happened to all magically end up here and know Dr Kozak at the same time.

Ezekiel didn't reply, before thinking of something else to say before Dr Kozak beat him to it.

"Okay. So.. Have you got any facts about Kieran and Esperanza that I need to know in case I see them again?"

Kieran was half asleep during the whole conversation, but opened one of his eyes once he had heard agent Ezekiel say his name.

He then watched Dr Kozak nod his head in agreement.

"I'll start with Kieran. Really nice. Sometimes annoying. Can also sometimes eavesdrop on other people's conversations which I know he is doing right now because I can read this mind. Oh. And he has got the neatest handwriting in the world!"

Ezekiel scoffed.

"Yours is neat too, Dr Kozak."

"Yes, I know, but Kieran's handwriting is like ten times more neater than mine."

Dr Kozak didn't say anything else as he got out his phone handing it to Agent Ezekiel.

"Pfft, yeah right," Ezekiel replied, but then saw Dr Kozak's phone and gasped. "Oh my gosh, Kieran's handwriting looks like an angel wrote it!"

"I know right!" Dr Kozak agreed putting his phone away, although once Agent Ezekiel told Dr Kozak if he had a fact about Esperanza, Dr Kozak's face fell.

"Uh.. There's no fact about Esperanza that I'd personally like to discuss." He trailed off, where Kieran just rolled his eyes and thought something.

Thought she was your favourite child here, for some reason.

Dr Kozak just shot Kieran an annoyed look as he read his mind before turning back to Agent Ezekiel again.

"May I ask, why do you want to know a fact about these two?"

"In case I see them again... I told you, Demetrius. I need to know facts about people before I get to meet them. So I need a fact about Esperanza. I don't like judging people without knowing any information about them first."

Dr Kozak turned red, looking away, Kieran just watching him in frustration and boredom.

"There's nothing about Esperanza that you need to know," Dr Kozak lied.

For goodness sake...

Kieran wanted to tell Agent Ezekiel. He couldn't take this anymore. He blurted his next sentence without even thinking about it, which just drove Dr Kozak absolutely crazy.

"Esperanza is his favourite child here."

Dr Kozak gasped as Agent Ezekiel did the same thing and then kind of laughed at him.

"Why would you do that! I hate you! I'm going to kill you, Kieran!" He mouthed to Kieran, really angrily.

Kieran just thought things, never actually said them.

I tried to warn you, what did I say? I had to tell someone eventually, you know. Plus you're lucky she's a really really really really really deep sleeper and she can't hear any of this.

Dr Kozak just gave Kieran the cut throat gesture as he turned to face Agent Ezekiel again.

"Dude, why do you have favourites? That's not fair." He wanted to know.

"They has a conversation about this, and I heard everything." Kieran blurted out loud but stopped once Dr Kozak was shooting him yet another look of death. "I always knew he hated me more than Esperanza."

"I don't. Honestly." Dr Kozak replied, blushing, smacking Kieran's hand and really Chinese burning it when Agent Ezekiel wasn't properly looking.

"Yes you do!"

"No, Kieran, I don't!" Dr Kozak shouted back, accidentally on purpose shooting Kieran's arm with his gun but Kieran was luckily still alive.

"I've known Esperanza for longer, to be fair, so that's probably why she's my favourite child here. But I genuinely don't have any favourites, I try not to have them anyway. I guess I'm just nicer to people I've known for a longer amount of time. Sorry, Kieran."

Agent Ezekiel clicked his fingers at the thought of it all, Kieran's smile falling in the meantime.

"Oh. I didn't know that. Sorry."

Dr Kozak nodded with a solemn look on his face.

"No problem. But Esperanza is a wonderful person, you can't lie. Although that was what I said to Lauriel before I killed her..."

Moral of chapter: It's simple really. Just never ever trust Diana Valentine.
