Chapter 58- Kozak Out Of Control!
Inspirational quote: One day or day one. You decide.

Kieran got back up to his feet again, only for Dr Kozak to push him back on the floor, Kieran howling in pain.
"Dude! You just killed your wife! Like, why would you do that?" Kieran asked him, helping himself up again for the second time.
Dr Kozak didn't say anything, just eyed him wickedly, frowning and putting his gun away.
"I kill people that annoy me. I have a right to do that. Would you like to be next on my hit list of people I'm going to kill in the future? Because you will!"
Kieran just watched him on what he was going to do next, as in, if he was really going to get his gun out and shoot him, but he didn't do that.
"Doctor Kozak, you've just killed your wife, and your long lost daughter. What kind of sane person does that! Maybe you really are a villain after all."
Dr Kozak cringed at the word villain, and was so angry that he kind of threw Kieran at the wall opposite him.
"I'm not a villain! I'm just really ticked off. And it's all your fault. Honestly."
Kieran was annoyed, probably even more annoyed than Dr Kozak.
"How is this my fault?" He ranted.
"Why would you tell Astera that I was a mind reader?! No one knows that. No one in my family anyway."
Kieran couldn't take this anymore.
Didn't he realise?
Dr Kozak was becoming a murderer.
"Sorry but why wouldn't I tell her?!" He shouted back. "She is your wife! Well, was your wife before you had to point your gun at her and shoot her, yeah. You shouldn't really be keeping secrets away like this from your wife. Sure she might have kept three away from you but at least you knew about it, because you could read her mind, and-"
"Shut up and stop talking!!!!" Dr Kozak lost it. This was the first ever time that Kieran had seen a totally worse and another side to him.
"Surely there must be some reason on why you told her I was a mind reader, right? Not just because you wanted to humiliate me?"
"Humiliate you?! Dude, I was trying to tell her something you knew that she didn't. Husband and wife don't keep those sort of secrets away from each other. And yes, there is another reason on why I said that."
Dr Kozak came closer to him, stepping on him. Meanwhile Esperanza was just there, watching everything, alive, although in serious pain.
"Which is....?"
"I'm not telling you," Kieran told him, eyeing Dr Kozak and Esperanza, who was completely baffled on what was going on. "Seriously. If I was a mind reader and I had a wife, I would tell her that I was a mind reader straight away, not keep it a secret for a decade!"
Esperanza got up promptly, walking over to both of them casually, an ice pack she so happened to magically find on the floor placed on her head.
"Yeah, sir, I've got to go with Kieran on this one. You shouldn't have killed her."
Dr Kozak and Kieran had just turned to face her, Dr Kozak a bit surprised.
"You're alive?" He said to her, feeling her face, double checking that she wasn't a ghost, because the way Astera had pushed her, before she died, was really painful.
"Oh my gosh, Esperanza. Don't move!"
This was coming from Kieran, Dr Kozak noticed it too. They kept on screaming and staring at Esperanza abhorrently, Esperanza completely perplexed on what they were screaming about.
"Guys. I can't see myself. In all honesty. What's going on?"
No one had said anything, not even Esperanza, until Anastasia kind of felt some sort of liquid run down on her face.
She touched it, and once she realised what colour it was, screamed along with Dr Kozak and Kieran as well.
Red represented blood.
"Esperanza, your head is bleeding like mad!" Dr Kozak warned her, pushing Kieran in front of him. "You two go to the first aid room in room 510."
For once, they were getting sent into a room which number was lower than a thousand!
"Why should I go with her?" Kieran snapped back. "Why can't you go!"
You should go with her, apparently, she's your favourite kid now, after all.
"Because I need keep this place supervised, in case something bad happens," Dr Kozak told them, escorting both of them outside by pushing them.
"Oh and Kieran?"
Kieran turned around, looking at him blankly.
"I'll pretend that I didn't hear what you just thought."
Kieran shook his head, pretended to zip his mouth and walked off with Esperanza into room 510, Dr Kozak's laboratory was way past the twenty thousands.
In the meantime, Dr Kozak shut the door very loudly, sitting on his blue spinning chair, thinking of who he could call to supervise Esperanza and Kieran for the first mission in case he wasn't there.
Agent Valentina, Dr Kozak's sister?
No.. She was too... Vicious.
Nurse Elizabeth, Dr Kozak's other sister?
She seemed too busy nowadays and didn't really care much about Dr Kozak to actually do anything for him.
Agent Sylvester? Dr Kozak's cousin?
No, he was way too obnoxious.
Agent Arista, Dr Kozak's-
"Yes!" Dr Kozak screamed to himself, triumphantly typing Agent Arista's name on his digital and blue holographic watch.
She was bound to pick up.
She always did.
Agent Arista, in the meantime, was half occupied, mainly giving her cats a massage (she bought ten more- can you believe this?) when she saw Dr Kozak's name appear on her holographic watch.
Usually, she would have been over the moon to talk to him, but today she wasn't, and this was mainly as, well, he hated her and vice versa.
She quickly pressed the red button of her watch before changing her mind, Dr Kozak in the meantime screaming his head off in the laboratory.
"That godforsaken stupid woman just declined my hologram chat request!"
Except that Dr Kozak didn't really say the words stupid or woman. Instead he swore, twice. The F word for the word stupid, and the B word for the word woman.
It helplessly seemed like everyone was turning against Dr Kozak recently and he didn't know why.
Well, he did know why, because he kept on killing everyone, although he didn't truly know how he had felt about it.
Just as Dr Kozak was about to rant sgain, an Unknown Agent popped his head around the doorway, shaking his head at Dr Kozak.
"You shouldn't really be swearing, sir," they told him, coming inside even more.
Dr Kozak looked up at him in anger, although his angry face turned into a half smile once he saw who it was.
"Agent Ezekiel? What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be on that 11:30PM mission, like me and uh, everybody else?"
Agent Ezekiel was a handsome, tall Jamaican agent with the same hair colour as Dr Kozak, so black, and with the same complexion as Diana Valentine, so mixed race again.
He was very nice, although sometimes a bit too colloquial for Dr Kozak's liking, and often acted liked he was from in a world where all they talked was slang, slang, slang 24/7, getting on Dr Kozak's nerves.
Unlike about 70% of the people at KOZAHKISTAN HEADQUARTERS, Ezekiel and Demetrius were not related, although they were best friends in primary school.
"Uh no, I've already done my mission. In the morning remember? I'm going on a working night shift." Ezekiel told him.
Dr Kozak didn't reply, until he watched Agent Ezekiel shake his head again.
"Oh. And not cool man. Not cool. At all."
Dr Kozak had no idea what he was talking about.
"What are you talking about?"
"You killed your wife, bro. Like, why would you do that? That's just messed up, man. You're lucky your cousin Agent Sylvester took her to the mortuary before anyone else found out and killed you. Oh, and I also heard you killed your long lost daughter, Lauriel. Like why? That's tight, man. Why would you kill any of them?"
"I am not at liberty to discuss that matter," Dr Kozak told him, shooing Agent Ezekiel away. "And never ever again come into my godforsaken laboratory without my permission, Ezekiel!"
Remembering that Agent Arista had for some reason, declined Dr Kozak's hologram chat request, he tried calling her again, this time texting something as well.
How dare you decline my hologram chat request! Pick up, immediately!
-DDK
Agent Arista replied back instantaneously, annoyed as well.
Why should I, sir? You hate me!
-AA
Then the rest of the conversation pretty much went like this:
Dr K: I need to speak to you, whether you like it or not. And you better like it.
Agent A: Why? Just to scream at me? Honestly, Dr Kozak! I'm so fed up of you, you know? You're always so rude to me.
Dr K: I'll buy you a cat and/or give you money if you show up, Arista. And I've never been rude to you. I don't know what you're talking about, Arista.
Agent A: Bribery doesn't work sir. And you've always been rude to me. Honestly. Ever since you first met me, you've always screamed and shouted at me, never appreciating me for who I truly am.
The reason I have and cause so many problems is because of you, because I'm so stressed out over what you say and it just bugs me so much I cause everyone trouble.
And ever since I've been here at KOZAHKISTAN HEADQUARTERS, you've always treated me unfairly, like not letting me eat with anyone else and giving me practically one of the worst rooms in here.
I would rant about how you've malevolently mistreated me since I first met you, but I won't. I'm not like that. You see why everyone hates you now. You're egotistical, sir.
Dr Kozak read what she had typed three times, becoming more hurt each time.
Dr K: Okay.. I'm sorry for being rude to you. I promise I'll be nice to you from now on. Just please, do me a massive favour, Arista. I'll buy you an eighty third cat!
Agent A: Didn't you just hear me? Bribery doesn't work on me.
Dr K: Okay, well, either way, Arista, I need you to supervise some kids for me...
Agent A: Ooh I love working with kids! How old are they and where are you? I'm literally on my way there.
Dr K: Boy, fifteen, Girl, twenty, literally turning twenty one tomorrow. And I'm in my laboratory across my sister's room (Agent Valentina not Elizabeth).
Agent A: On my way there once again! Bye sir!
Dr K: Bye.
Agent Arista stormed in immediately, Dr Kozak guessing that she must have been walking and texting him at the same time, or teleported herself to Dr Kozak's immense blue laboratory, but either way Agent Arista was 100% and definitely here.
And unlike just a few seconds ago on the phone, she was absolutely infuriated, and it was like her personality had changed from sweet and charming to about to kill everyone in literally two seconds.
"What have you done to mum, dad, what happened to mum, dad, why have you killed mum, dad?!" Agent Arista practically shouted at him.
"Oh hello, my beloved daughter, you finally showed up," Dr Kozak said to her. "And how do you know your mother is dead?"
Agent Arista just blinked at Dr Kozak in disbelief, before screaming her head off.
Kinda.
"I saw her dead body before on the floor, at least before Agent Sylvester took her to the mortuary, duh brain," she said to Dr Kozak. "Anyway where's my cat?"
"Don't have one," Dr Kozak replied, shrugging his shoulders and looking away from his daughter instantaneously.
"Fine then. I'm leaving. Bye."
Agent Arista was about to leave until her now revealed father Dr Kozak surprisingly held her back.
"Wait, agent Arista!"
Agent Arista just turned to him, a bit annoyed.
"What? And where are the kids you said I'd be working with?"
"They're not here yet," Dr Kozak murmured again, where his daughter turned to leave.
"Did you not hear me!" He snapped at her. "I said yet." He then checked his watch briefly.
"And by the looks of it... Kieran and Esperanza should be here..."
Dramatic pause.
"Any..."
Pause.
"Minute..."
Pause.
"...Now."
