Chapter 40- Marcel And Tyrese Back At It Again
Inspirational quote: It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live.

Kieran and his stepfather were arguing for about twenty odd seconds until the train driver had completely lost it.
For some reason, the train driver had a megaphone right next to him, so what he did, because he was so annoyed, was to yell at them.
"Please can the teenage boy and the teenage boy's father stop arguing! It's driving me crazy! I've lost my will to live!
But they wouldn't listen to him, they were still full on arguing.
Some other people were becoming annoyed too, over all the racket that Kieran and his stepfather were making. Neither of them realised that about fifty percent of the people on the train currently were ringing the police.
The argument ended with Kieran and his stepfather separating, although as the train driver was so frustrated, he lost control of where he was going.
Worst of all, the train was underground so the train driver couldn't see where he was going (plus he was 90) and all of a sudden, well, there was a tremendous sound.
Bang!
"What was that?" Some people yelled at the same time.
No one had remained calm, and after Kieran saw fire, he knew that something atrocious was going on.
"There's been a train crash!" A man with a baby hollered at everyone. "And the train driver is dead!"
People started screaming however no one was wise enough to try and leave. Soon after, much much later in fact, Kieran saw even more fire than last time.
The fire alarm on the train went off making some people irritated as hell. The fire was located towards the back of the train, so the people there had instantaneously died, no matter what.
It then dawned on Kieran that the fire was spreading rapidly all over the place, and they were practically in the middle of nowhere.
Then he thought:
Hang on.
Wait a second.
My stepfather was sitting at the back of the train where the fire was.
He was dead. There was no point checking, Kieran knew it. Was that what he meant when he told Kieran that he didn't have much time left on here anyway?
'I don't have much time left on here'.
Meaning?
'My time here on earth is nearly over. Kieran I'm going to die soon.'
How did his father know when he was going to die?
How did people do that? Did God just speak to them or something? Kieran really didn't understand.
Sometimes it was obvious when one was going to die, without God speaking to them. They just knew to be honest.
But other times were different. Like a twenty five year old knowing when they were going to die before they had actually did. Kinda strange once Kieran had thought about it.
Kieran didn't even bother thinking about it. They were trapped and there was no way out.
Smoke was infesting everywhere by now, and moments later, about ten people were still alive, Kieran included.
Somehow.
It had also turned out that there was a way out after all. Even though the train was underground, right now it wasn't, and it was right next to a train station.
Thank the Lord!
Although there was only one dilemma left.
How the flip was everyone supposed to get out?
Kieran's eyes were practically stinging him by now due to the haywire amount of smoke, so to get out, he thought it would have been a wise idea to press the button that had opened the train doors.
He pressed it frantically.
"Kid," someone tapped him, and he turned around. The same man with the baby, except now without the baby because the baby died.
"Kid. It's not working. Don't even bother trying."
Kieran was fed up by now completely.
"Well, how else are we supposed to get out?"
He practically shouted at him. He might as well have just died than live through the train crash knowing that he was going to die anyway.
By now, Kieran and about three other people were still alive. Seven had died, two had somehow killed themselves because they knew they were going to die anyway.
"You'll have to go through the windows," the man explained. "The emergency exit is blocked. I have the hammer for it."
The man kindly gave Kieran the hammer to break the windows. He did this three times, and the same thing had happened throughout.
First try?
Kieran hit the windows.
Nothing happened.
Second try?
Kieran hit it again.
There was a crack in it, although it didn't shatter.
Third try?
Kieran didn't do anything. Why?
Because he gave up.
"You've got to stop trying. It's going to take you about a million tries to shatter it. Just take this way."
Kieran had heard the man talking, but he just didn't know where he was.
He looked around for him frantically, and eventually found him at the top of the train.
"What? Are you kidding me? I am not going through that way."
The man didn't reply.
"You wanna die, or not?"
Kieran stared at him hard.
Then the hundred dead bodies, his stepfather included.
Then at the fire that was still going on.
He had no choice really. He went up, the stranger helping him.
"Okay. So what now?"
"We're going to jump down from the top of the train."
Kieran's head metaphorically exploded in disbelief.
"Are you crazy? No way!"
The man nodded.
"Yes way. And hey, be grateful. At least the train isn't moving. Both of us would have probably been dead by now."
Kieran shot the man a long, hard look.
"Not that I'm trying to jinx your life or anything. But in all seriousness. You seriously need to jump down kid."
Kieran shook his head vigorously. This was mainly because there was a gap in the train. Even though it was so tiny, Kieran was still petrified of it.
"Okay fine. There's only one solution. We jump down simultaneously. Hold my hand."
Kieran did as he was told, not that the kid had a choice anyway, but when the man jumped and made it out alive, Kieran was still on top of the train with his suitcase, not moving, doing or saying anything.
"What? I thought we made a commitment that we'd jump down simultaneously! Why are you still standing there? You coward."
Kieran was annoyed.
"And I'm going to keep calling you these confrontational names unless or until you do it."
Kieran rolled his eyes in disbelief. It was now or never. He had been insulted way too many times in the past anyway.
Before he knew it, Kieran jumped. Fortunately, he landed on his suitcase, and when he opened his eyes, the stranger was just smiling at him.
"Well, thank you for your help, completely random stranger. And I'm sorry your baby died." Kieran stood up and walked away.
"It's fine. And not your fault. I'll see you around kid."
Then they were off for real.
Kieran's life was actually a mess. He kept on thinking this as he was walking straight to town, not knowing where he was actually supposed to be going.
His real parents were dead.
His adopted parents were dead.
Was there much point getting a new family? They were probably likely to die too.
Plus, who would've taken Kieran? Kieran wouldn't even have taken himself as a kid. He had become seriously depressed nowadays because all of his family members had died and his friends had backstabbed him or he couldn't communicate with them (ie he didn't have their contact details at all) so he had no one to turn to anymore.
Kieran sat on a bench quietly, thinking of maybe committing suicide because he genuinely thought that there was no point to his life.
People kept secrets away from him.
His family kept dying.
He was losing friends more than making friends.
He kept thinking to himself for a very long time, and also mainly on where the hell he was supposed to be going because he seriously didn't know.
And everything was kind of actually going perfectly normal until Agent Marcel and Tyrese sneaked up on Kieran again like they did with Lauriel the other day.
Kieran felt them behind the bench, laughing. But when he turned around, he couldn't see them.
He felt them again, and he turned around a second time. This time, it was too late, before Kieran could turn back, both of them had already kidnapped him.
Why Dr Kozak always had to send his sons to do this, nobody knew or would ever find out. He was impishly smiling to himself at the other side of KOZAHKISTAN HEADQUARTERS whilst watching everything live happen from a CCTV camera screen.
"Who are you guys and what are you doing to me?" Kieran asked. He was originally supposed to shout but as usual, his voice just came out as a tiny whisper.
Marcel replied for him, but soon after they kept on verbally abusing Kieran.
"They're not supposed to be doing that! What the hell!" Dr Kozak screamed to himself behind the computer screen.
The video then died down before going completely black, making Dr Kozak even madder than before.
"They're I'm serious trouble when they arrive. I'll deal with them later!"
He then angrily switched the camera back on, although it kept on saying access denied, meaning that someone else was using it as well.
And there, right in front of him, Dr Kozak caught agent Arista slyly watching videos of cats online.

Moral of chapter: It's better to risk your life trying to save someone else's life than to not try and save anyone's life and feel guilty over it. Would you rather be alive and guilty or dead and innocent?
