It was finally settled that Lauriel was going to stay at her friend from primary school's house, although she had forgotten the name of her friend completely.

Sleeping on the bus was not a very good idea.

By the time that Lauriel had woken up, bam! She missed her stop.

It took her a while to realise that she was an hour away from where she was actually supposed to be.

By the time she found out, she did more than just 'scream'.

Firstly, she got up and kicked the chair she was currently sitting on.

Secondly, she made a three year old baby cry by bursting their blue and pink balloon.

Thirdly, she literally cut someone's hair with scissors, although they were asleep so they didn't realise this.

And fourthly, well, she screamed.

Grabbing her suitcase along with her, she went to the front of the bus, totally obstructing the bus driver's vision.

"Excuse me," she hollered at him, waving her hands right in front of him. The bus driver nearly hit a car because of her.

He became annoyed immediately.

"Excuse me, uhm..."

"Kid. Do you mind? I'm in the middle of driving here and you're like, seriously distracting me-"

Lauriel didn't care.

Of course she didn't, she was the walking definition of someone who didn't give a damn about anything.

She had missed her godforsaken bus stop, and what she was trying to do now was to convince the bus driver to go back, just for her.

"I missed my stop. Can you go back?"

"No," the bus driver hissed. "You've missed it. That's your fault. Not mine. Now shut up and go away."

Lauriel didn't listen to him of course. How dare anyone told her to shut up.

"It's your fault as well you know." But before the bus driver could ask how she yelled "For driving pretty dementedly."

The bus driver couldn't take Lauriel's behaviour anymore.

"Kid, I swear, annoy me one more time and I'm calling the police on you. Plus, people are staring at you."

Lauriel, who also lost it as well, shouted at the bus driver.

"So what? I'm staring at you. Do you care? No. Now, please drive back to my bus stop, insane little bus driver, before I completely lose it."

The bus driver skidded to a halt and stopped halfway along a bridge.
He got out, looking at Lauriel, taking her away.

"Okay, kid, that's it- I'm calling the police on you."

Weird thing was, Lauriel was still on the bus.

One would have thought that the bus driver would kick her out completely but he didn't, just moved her away from him.

That was all he said. Then he started driving again, way faster than last time.

Lauriel had given up. There was only one way to get out, despite it being too perilous, despite her possibly dying if all went wrong.

Either way, she did it.
There was no other solution to this. This was the only solution.

A life or death solution.

Lauriel probably shouldn't have done it when the bus was rapidly moving but she still did it anyway.

As the bus driver was driving the bus really quickly, Lauriel did it: she pressed the emergency stop button, and jumped out of the bus whilst it was still moving.

And the most surprising thing was, she was still alive!

Whilst she had done that, the bus itself had stopped, hitting a van in front of it, causing a fire for the van, though not the bus.

Either way, everybody got out immediately, including the bus driver.

Lauriel was far from earshot, although the bus driver could still kind of see her.

When no one was looking, he walked over to her, shouting at her.

"What the hell kid!" The bus driver retorted tremendously at her. "Why would you even think of pressing the emergency stop button whilst the bus is still moving? Have you no shame at all? You really could have died."

Lauriel didn't feel shameful, so she didn't say anything.

Well except, "You could have also made people die due to your demented and reckless driving!"

And that was it.

Although, just then the police came.
They were swarming around her, making the bus driver smile at her.

"What? You actually called the police on me? Why the hell would you do that!"

The bus driver just smirked at her, before going away.

Lauriel lost it.
Like, physically and mentally lost it.

As the police came towards her, Lauriel did something crazy.

Actually. No. Not just crazy.
Crazier than crazy.

She kicked the police hard, before doing crazy jujitsu on them. Same thing for the bus driver.

Fighting like this went on for about five minutes, and it finished when Lauriel thought it would have been "wise" to murder the police and the bus driver when they weren't looking.

How?

One of the policemen unsurprisingly had a gun. They always did around here. Specifically when the policeman wasn't paying attention, Lauriel swerved behind him, picking the gun up and assassinated both of them.

"Just because I'm 14 doesn't mean I'm not tough you know," She informed the lifeless policemen and also the dead bus driver.

She dropped the gun in her hands, sashaying down the pathway with her suitcase, leaving all three of them behind.

Luckily, for some reason nobody was watching, so Lauriel got away with doing something illegitimate, once again.

To get to the place that she needed to be, Lauriel also had to get a train, not just a bus there.

She had unfortunately missed the first train plus the second one wasn't coming for another half an hour or so.

Laurel waited.
And waited.

And as she waited, she realised that maybe running away wasn't so good after all.

She double checked the text in which her friend from primary school had sent her, not noticing that she was kind of nearly there after all.

36 Rosemary Lane.
Blah blah blah.
Blah blah blah blah blah.

It didn't really say that. Lauriel was lazy. She wasn't a hundred percent bothered to read the rest.

Except maybe:

By the way Lauriel. Since you're staying here for five days, that's five pounds you need to give me. If you forget to pay me a fiver by the time you enter my house then I'm sorry but we're kicking you out, Lauriel.

Lauriel lowered her phone down, then checked the nearest lane that she was currently at.

Rosemary Lane.

Smiling impishly to herself, she got up, along with her suitcase handbag, walking slower than the speed of sound.

Maybe she hadn't really missed her stop after all.

Lauriel's happiness didn't really last for long though. As she was walking down the street, desperately trying to find number 36, she was in for one of the worst shock-surprises of her life.

She was currently at number 30, walking to the left because the even numbers of doors increased as she went to the left.

But... As soon as she reached number 36, it just simply wasn't there.

The flip! Lauriel thought, looking up at the Starbucks Coffee restaurant that was right opposite her.

She had to go inside.
She was ticked off by now completely.

Heading over inside, Lauriel shape shifted her suitcase into a handbag again as she slammed her right hand on the counter.

"Excuse me," she hollered, making the Starbucks Coffee manager look at her sort of horrifically.

"...but what the hell happened to the owners of house number 36?"

The manager rolled her eyes, looking back at Lauriel malevolently.

"Oh. They moved." She told Lauriel half heartedly.

"Are you kidding me?" Lauriel screamed at her. "Where do they live now?"

"Nope. I wish I was but I'm not. And for your second question... They live like 2 hours away from here, by coach or train."

Lauriel collapsed, before getting back up again once remembering that this was a public place.

She might as well have used her time here wisely. So as a result of that, she asked to buy something.

She was frantically looking for her purse everywhere although couldn't find it, and once she went into retrospect and noticed that she had left her purse at the train stop, she screamed.

She didn't bother getting it back though, because she already knew that someone had taken it anyway.

After constant bickering and arguing with the Starbucks assistants, Lauriel headed outside lividly.

She then stopped to do her shoelaces at a bench, and everything was actually sort of going quite fine...

Until.....
