Ezekiel was searching high and low for his best friend Dr Kozak, and had been doing this for approximately ten to fifteen minutes. He couldn't find him anywhere.

It probably wouldn't have helped if KOZAHKISTAN HEADQUARTERS was such a gargantuan place, what with over fifty thousand rooms, seven thousand stairs, three thousand elevators and thirty seven thousand people.

The chances of Ezekiel finding Dr Kozak was about ten to a million.

Or one to a hundred thousand.

Or just one to fifty thousand because of the amount of rooms at the headquarters.

"Demetrius!" Ezekiel echoed, walking all over the place. Dang, was Dr Kozak good at hiding or what? "Demetrius!"

Ezekiel had cupped his hands to his mouth so that Dr Kozak would have been able to hear him properly but Dr Kozak didn't hear him at all.

Or he did, and he was just pretending that he didn't. It was rather difficult to tell in this particular scenario.

Ezekiel was about to give up on looking for Dr Kozak completely, that was until he happened to see Agent Sylvester walking by, not doing anything.

"Agent Sylvester!" Ezekiel screamed, which was when Sylvester turned back, not really saying anything. "The guy that has miraculously been raised from the dead!"

Sylvester came up to him instantly, smiling faintly all the way.

Sylvester: Oh hey, Ezekiel. *beams* What do you want?

Ezekiel didn't say anything.

Sylvester: And I didn't get raised from the dead. When Kozak shot me, I didn't actually die. I was just in a serious coma for a few hours.

Ezekiel: *confused* But Maria Grace's brother aka Agent White said that Dr Kozak's brother Laurence-

Sylvester: Oh. That wasn't me. That was with someone else. Valentina I think. Or one of her friends that look like her, I honestly can't remember! And yeah, Laurence stole Kozak's resurrecting machine.

Ezekiel: *blinks at him* You're Demetrius' cousin right?

Sylvester: Well yeah, but he doesn't ever let me call him by his first name. Why?

Ezekiel: Do you have any idea where he is?

Sylvester: Yeah kinda. If you want the truth, I saw him earlier. Although he seemed really angry and upset over something.

Kieran...

Sylvester: *finishing off his sentence* The poor guy was crying his heart out. I felt so sorry for him. He won't tell anyone why he's crying though because when I asked him why, he just gave me a dirty look.

Ezekiel: Yeah he does that quite a lot. I've noticed. It's nothing personal. It means he's just annoyed with you sometimes.

Sylvester: Either way, he said that he doesn't want to talk to anyone right now and wants to be left alone for as long as possible.

Ezekiel: Wait. Did you say you know where he is?

Sylvester: *nods vigorously* Yeah, I did. *frowns slightly* But he told me 'Sylvester if anyone asks you where I am, do not tell them!'

Ezekiel: Not even me?

Sylvester: Nope. Not even you.

Ezekiel: *through gritted teeth* Well... That's nice....

Sylvester: Plus why would you be an exception?

Ezekiel: Because I'm Dr Kozak's best friend.

Sylvester: Oh yeah. Yeah you are. He can't and never stops talking about you.

Ezekiel smiled.

Ezekiel: Really?

He never really talked about Dr Kozak before, mainly because there were too many nice things to say about him although Ezekiel thought that that would have been talking about his best friend behind his back.

Sylvester: Well yeah. Of course. But honestly. Dr Kozak wants to be left alone and doesn't want anyone's company.

Ezekiel: You've got to be kidding me.

That was when the conversation had ended, both of them going separate ways. Even though Sylvester clearly said that Dr Kozak didn't want to talk to anyone, Ezekiel still went to go and find him anyway.

He was not going to leave his best friend like this at all.

"Demetrius!" Ezekiel called, still looking around for him everywhere. He eventually found him somewhere where everybody least expected it.

"For goodness sake, Demetrius," Ezekiel told Dr Kozak quite angrily.

Dr Kozak was seriously annoyed and frustrated. He was hiding in some crazy place, all right.

"What the heck do you think you're doing hiding behind a vending machine located right opposite the ice hockey rink?"

Dr Kozak didn't say anything. Just sat there crying his heart out.

Dr Kozak: Go away, Ezekiel.

Ezekiel: But why?

Dr Kozak: I don't want to talk to you. Or anyone else. Please. Just leave.

Ezekiel: No. I'm staying here whether you like it or not.

Dr Kozak: Don't make me scream at you. get lost, Ezekiel, for flip sake!

Ezekiel: Look I know you're upset and very angry over what Kieran said and did but please just let me talk to you.

Dr Kozak then threw an empty Vimto can at Agent Ezekiel's feet. He presumably drank it before, hence why it was empty. Ezekiel in the meantime was very annoyed before kind of yelling at Kozak for what he did.

Dr Kozak: *is crying* Yeah well talking to you or anyone else won't make me feel any better!

Ezekiel just stared at him, thinking about whether he should go or leave.

Ezekiel: Is this really our first argument in twenty seven years?

Dr Kozak: Might as well be!

Ezekiel: *irritated over Dr Kozak's behaviour but then again no one could really blame him* Well fine then. If you want me to go then I'll go. *turns to leave* Guess we're no longer best friends anymore.

That was when Dr Kozak was pouring his heart out even though Ezekiel had barely taken one step.

Dr Kozak: Wait. No. Ezekiel!!! *is sobbing* Come back!!

Ezekiel just turned to look at him, kind of frowning and not saying anything.

Dr Kozak: Please stay. I didn't mean anything I just said. I was just really annoyed and I let all my annoyance out on you and I'm so sorry! You know I love you! Don't leave. Please.

Ezekiel just stared at him, thinking something, but then smiled.

Ezekiel: I knew you'd come crying back to me. Literally. Do you still want to talk?

Dr Kozak: Yes! And when I said that I didn't want to talk to anyone, I meant that I didn't want to talk to anyone except you!

Ezekiel: *confused* Well, gee, Demetrius.. if you meant that then why did you say-

Dr Kozak: I don't know! I'm just emotionally unstable and I almost never control what I have to say!

Ezekiel smiled at that for some reason.

Ezekiel: *pretty much watches his best friend cry and gasps* Aw bless. Kieran must have upset you real bad.

Dr Kozak: Well yeah. That stupid idiot killed Christabelle. And Christabelle was my favourite niece, believe it or not.

Ezekiel didn't reply. This was because a lot people were walking past, looking at both of them as if they were crazy.

Ezekiel: Demetrius, people are staring. Why don't we go and talk somewhere else?

Dr Kozak: Sure thing.

That was when Dr Kozak stood up, Ezekiel and Dr Kozak placing their arms around each other as they walked somewhere.

Sylvester: *just casually walking past minding his own business* Wow... So much for not talking to anyone, Doctor K.

Dr Kozak rolled his eyes in indignation as Ezekiel took him somewhere else privately, location unknown although it seemed like a currently very occupied bowling alley.

Ezekiel: *as soon as they went inside he locked the door and stared at Dr Kozak* You okay?

Dr Kozak: Yeah... You?

Ezekiel: Yeah... Why wouldn't I be okay?

Dr Kozak: I don't know. I guess I kinda shouted at you pretty badly. Kept on thinking that I hurt your feelings.

Ezekiel: *smiles again* Nah. Don't worry. You didn't. And yes, I'm fine.

They both sat somewhere, a lot of noise going on in the background from people who thought that it wasn't a crazy idea to go bowling at nearly seven thirty am in the morning.

Ezekiel: Not going to lie, Demetrius, I'm kind of really worried about you...

Dr Kozak: *is smiling really but face and eyes are very red* You honestly don't need to be. I promise you, Ezekiel, I'm fine.

Ezekiel: Honestly. If you need me, just remember and know that I'm only one call away.

Dr Kozak smiled.

Dr Kozak: Thank you so much, Ezekiel....

Dr Kozak felt a bit better know, especially when Ezekiel and Dr Kozak hugged each other for a relatively long amount of time.

Ezekiel: No problem, Demetrius.

Dr Kozak then rested his head on Ezekiel's shoulder before sort of interlocking his hand through Ezekiel's.

Dr Kozak: I'm so glad I have you...

Ezekiel: We'd both be lost in life if you didn't.

Dr Kozak: You seriously mean the world to me, Ezekiel.

Ezekiel: And you mean so much more, Demetrius.

Dr Kozak: I love you as a best friend.

Ezekiel: I love you too.

Then they hugged again, obviously.

Dr Kozak: *sort of frowns, Ezekiel notices this instantaneously* But the thing is... I sort of feel like...

Ezekiel: You sort of feel like what?

Dr Kozak: I feel like you've always been there for me but I've never really returned the favour.

Ezekiel gasped.

Ezekiel: Demetrius, are you kidding? You've always been there for me.

Dr Kozak: But I'm starting to feel bad because it just doesn't feel like it...

Ezekiel: Okay. I'll give you an example. You know when we were like ten years old and my father died and I was crying non stop about it?

Dr Kozak nodded, frowning at the devastating event.

Ezekiel: Then you secretly got everyone in your family to make me that massive turquoise 'Sorry for your loss' card?

Dr Kozak: Oh yeah I remember that! Then I showed you at school and everyone was like 'Oh my gosh Demetrius and Ezekiel have like the cutest friendship!'

Ezekiel: And they wouldn't stop talking about us for days! Anyway that was one of the sweetest things you've ever done for me.

Dr Kozak: *confused* One of?

Ezekiel: Yeah.

Dr Kozak: What's the sweetest?

Ezekiel: You know when you got me for Secret Santa at university and the teacher said 'don't spend more than five pounds'?

Dr Kozak: Yeah, and then I spent 2000.

Ezekiel: Because you got me that really cute Yorkshire Terrier. That's the sweetest thing anyone's ever done for me, Demetrius.

Dr Kozak: It was the nicest thing that I could have done for an amazing best friend like you.

But then Dr Kozak was crying again, claiming that the reason he was crying was because he kept on thinking about Christabelle and how Kieran malevolently killed her.

Ezekiel stood up to go and hug him, Dr Kozak hugging back, still standing up, and once he started crying he couldn't stop.

Dr Kozak's sister Nurse Elizabeth was silently walking past, although when she saw Ezekiel she couldn't really help but to say hi to him.

Elizabeth: Hey Ezekiel.

Ezekiel: Hey Elizabeth.

Elizabeth then made circles around Ezekiel wondering who he was hugging then gasped once she realised something.

Elizabeth: Oh my god! *she is intently staring at a crying Dr Kozak* Is that... *squints* My brother?

Ezekiel: Yes. Believe it or not.

Ezekiel then stopped hugging Dr Kozak so that Dr Kozak could see Elizabeth for himself.

Elizabeth: Oh my god my poor baby! *hugs Dr Kozak* What happened to you?

Dr Kozak: *through tears* Kieran... *sobs* Killed.... *sobs louder* Christabelle....*sobs even louder than last time*

Elizabeth: *really infuriated* Why would Kieran do something like that?

Dr Kozak: I don't know!

Then they stopped hugging.

Elizabeth: *to Dr Kozak* Don't worry loves. Your little sister is here for you.

Ezekiel: I thought you two hated each other.

Dr Kozak: Yeah I know we did but then we made up after Valentina died.

Ezekiel: Should I leave you two alone for a second?

Elizabeth: I think that would be preferable... Thanks.

That was when Ezekiel smiled and left, leaving Dr Kozak and his sister Elizabeth there alone.

Elizabeth: *hugs him tightly* Demmy Cakes don't cry....

Dr Kozak: *hugs her back* Thank you so much...

Elizabeth: And I know that I may not have been the nicest sister to you in the past but I promise that that's all changed know.

Dr Kozak: Me too.... Thank you sis...

Elizabeth: I'll always be here for you if you need me, okay?

Dr Kozak: Okay....

Another hug.

Elizabeth: Words cannot describe how much I love you.

And hearing that, Dr Kozak remained silent, before uttering the words:

Dr Kozak: I love you too, sis.
