*Flashback to the day and day after Valentina and Lauriel had both worked together to kill Dr Kozak's son Tyrese (continued)*

Dr Kozak could not believe that his sister had just lied to him and he was naive and gullible enough to fall for what she had said.

He was really mad at himself for believing Valentina but was even madder at Valentina and Lauriel for killing his son.

"Just why would they do something like that?" He had annoyingly echoed to himself, continuously pressing the rewind button on the monitor that had let him see everything live that had happened via the CCTV cameras that week.

"Who do they think they are? Lying about killing my son, thinking that they can get away with it? Oh hell no! Heck to the no."

Dr Kozak assumed that Tyrese was the person in the sack that Valentina and Lauriel had thrown off the rooftop for no reason, and of course he was right.

"My god this makes me so angry! Valentina and Lauriel are certainly not getting away with this!"

As soon as he said that though, someone just had to be walking past the room Dr Kozak was in at the wrong time.

When they heard Dr Kozak said that, the unknown person walked inside without warning Dr Kozak whatsoever.

"Who's not going to get away with what?" They asked, making Dr Kozak spin his chair and look at the person.

No worries.

It was just Agent Sylvester.

Actually, yes, that was a worry actually.

Sylvester was a hundred percent into everyone's business, he always tried to get Dr Kozak is trouble as much as humanly possible and Dr Kozak pretty much hated him.

Despite the fact that they were related.
Despite the fact that they were cousins.

"Sylvester?" Dr Kozak barked. "What are you doing here?"

Sylvester: I was walking past to get something but then I heard you yell that someone and someone else aren't going to get away with something. Can't remember who you said though.

Dr Kozak: Well yeah I guess I said that. And I said Valentina and Lauriel.

Sylvester: What aren't Valentina and Lauriel going to get away with?

There was absolutely no way that Dr Kozak was going to tell anyone what they had done. He was going to keep it to himself unless or until someone had forced him to tell him what they had done.

Dr Kozak: That, Sylvester, is none of your business.

Sylvester: I'm your cousin. I have a right to know.

Dr Kozak: No you don't. Now get lost. You're not on CCTV camera duty this month. I am.

Sylvester: *smiling helplessly* I am next month though.

Dr Kozak: It's not something to be triumphant about, Sylvester. CCTV camera duty is tedious. And no you're not. *picks up a sheet he magically finds on the table and reads it in his head* Ezekiel is on CCTV camera duty next month.

Sylvester: What about me?

Dr Kozak: You're on it in July.

Sylvester: July? That's ages away!

Dr Kozak: Four months. *stands and walks to the door, attempting to close it* Now bye!

Sylvester: *is just standing there like a clueless neanderthal* But Dr Kozak...

Dr Kozak would never let Sylvester call him by his first name, goodness knew why.

Dr Kozak: Bye! *fully slams the door in his face and rolls his eyes*

As soon as Sylvester had left, Dr Kozak had sat back down again, spinning around in his chair, writing something.

Apparently, according to Professor Florentine who was in charge of everything in KOZAHKISTAN HEADQUARTERS, Dr Kozak had to spend half an hour in here and it had only been about ten minutes.

He was deep in thought about something, mainly on how he was going to get his sister and his long lost daughter back for ganging up and killing his son, when a brilliant plan came to him.

"Hang on a second..." He trailed off, looking for his blue iPad and clicking on something. "Kieran has his last test in a few minutes, The Knife That Killed Me. I need someone to pretend to be a serial killer...."

That was when another beautiful idea came to him. He was going to use Lauriel to pretend to be a serial killer to scare Kieran.

This was when Dr Kozak's ability to predict the future came in really handy. Apparently, according to the future, Lauriel was going to talk to him in private about something...

.....And then they were going to have a massive argument.....

"And at the end of the argument, I can kill Lauriel for killing my son!" He shouted, smiling cunningly to himself.

Perfect....

As quickly as possible, because Kieran really didn't have that much time left until The Knife That Killed Me had started, Dr Kozak found himself typing Lauriel's name in his contact and calling her.

Lauriel in the meantime was at a spy school, yes that existed, when suddenly, yet unexpectedly, her phone rang in the middle of the class, everyone staring at her.

When she picked up her phone, she saw Dr Kozak's name, rolling her eyes, clicking decline.

A text message from him proceeded that instantaneously.

Dr K: Why the hell did you just decline my call, Lauriel?

Lauriel typed something back without even realising it.

Lauriel: Why were you even calling me in the first place?

Although before she could even read what Dr Kozak had sent back, the teacher (aka Dr Kozak's sister Nurse Elizabeth) came up to her.

"Who do you think you're texting in my lesson, Lauriel?"

Everyone's eyes were on Lauriel now, waiting for her to say something back.

"Your brother.... Dr Kozak.... Keeps on texting me..."

Elizabeth: Well stop texting him!

Lauriel: Or else what?

Elizabeth: Listen, it's either you give me your phone or you stop texting him, your choice Lauriel. Choose carefully.

Elizabeth was staring at Lauriel non stop now, Lauriel just rolling her eyes in return.

Lauriel: Or... I continue texting Dr Kozak and you don't teach.

Elizabeth: *scoffs* And how are you going to do that, huh?

Lauriel didn't even reply. She just did jujitsu on Elizabeth, and the next minute Elizabeth was lying unconscious on the floor, everyone still staring at Lauriel.

Lauriel: What, you imbeciles? Stop staring at me and do you work! Jeez!

Everyone listened to Lauriel immediately. Mainly because Lauriel was the oldest person in the class and no one wanted to get on her bad side.

As hard as that was.

In the meantime Lauriel continued texting Dr Kozak again, who she left hanging for like three entire minutes.

Dr Kozak: I need to talk to you privately ASAP.

Lauriel: Why privately?

Dr Kozak: Because it can't be done publicly.

Lauriel: Why though?

Dr Kozak: Stop asking me questions, Lauriel. Where are you?

Lauriel: Spy school.... Why?

Dr Kozak: Well. Leave spy school and come to my laboratory.

Lauriel: Which laboratory though? You've got like seventy.

Dr Kozak: Room 20,000 and something. I'll be waiting for you.

Lauriel: What so you're just going to let me leave school early so that you can talk to me?

Dr Kozak: Yes. If you want the truth.

Silence. Then...

Lauriel: I love you so much! Thanks!

Dr Kozak was currently mad at her so therefore did not love her back. Lauriel didn't know this of course.

Dr Kozak: Yeah.... Don't push your luck, kid....

End of conversation.

Lauriel soon found herself leaving the classroom, cursing to herself when she realised something.

"Crud.... Elizabeth's spy school just had to be on room 40,000 didn't it? I absolutely hate the stairs!"

On second thought, Lauirel hated everything...

She left the school and arrived at Dr Kozak's laboratory in about ten minutes, because she didn't have a teleporter on her at all and she got completely lost along the way.

Why she was scared to knock on the door, nobody knew. When she knocked, it was the quietest knock ever, although Dr Kozak still heard it anyway.

"Who is it?!" He yelled from the other side of the laboratory.

"Lauriel.... Lauriel Wilson!" Lauriel shouted back. In the meantime Dr Kozak smiled evilly to himself mainly because he knew something Lauriel didn't.

"Come in...." The doctor commanded, and as soon as Lauriel had heard that, she opened the door.

Dr Kozak was just staring at her as she headed inside, forcing her to close the door behind her when she arrived.

Dr Kozak: Oh hello.... Lauriel....

Lauriel: Hi? You said you wanted to talk to me about something?

Dr Kozak nodded vigorously.

Dr Kozak: Yes yes. Now sit down... Make yourself feel at home.

Lauriel very nervously brought out a pink high chair and sat down on it, Dr Kozak not taking his eyes off of hers throughout their entire conversation.

Lauriel: Okay. So what did you want to talk to me about?

Dr Kozak: I need you, Lauriel... To do me a favour.......

And as he said the word favour, he elongated it for a long long time.

Lauriel: A favour?

Dr Kozak: Yes.

Lauriel: What's the favour?

Dr Kozak: *frowns at her* A favour.

Lauriel: But what is it?

Dr Kozak: I need you to pretend to be a serial killer for Kieran's next test...

Lauriel: Okay but why'd you get me to pretend to be a serial killer?

Dr Kozak: Lauriel... Because you're worth it.

Lauriel: Yeah but why a serial killer though?

Dr Kozak: *shouts at her angrily* Because you're kind of already one anyway! Okay?

Lauriel: *eyes him weirdly* What's that supposed to mean?

Dr Kozak: I cannot tell you because you have no right to know. Anyway... *nonchalantly shows her something* Whether you like it or not you need to try on this costume.

Dr Kozak showed her a costume that looked like what a widow would wear. It was purple and red, with spidered laces embroidered over it.

Lauriel loved spiders but she didn't like the costume. It was disturbing.

Lauriel: You know I don't wear dresses, sir.

Dr Kozak: *shouts at her again, deafeningly slamming the table with his right hand as well* Yeah well you can't always get what you want in life, Lauriel, can you?!

Lauriel: I don't like that costume.

Dr Kozak: And I don't like you. But you don't see me complaining do you? Exactly.

Lauriel just stared at him cholerically, not saying anything.

Lauriel: Okay. What's up with you? You're never this rude to me.

Dr Kozak: Yeah well people change. Get used to it.

That was when Lauriel stood up, coming closer to Dr Kozak, Dr Kozak just staring at her.

Lauriel: I don't like your attitude, Dr Kozak.

Dr Kozak just slapped her in return.

Dr Kozak: Shut up.

Lauriel: No.

Dr Kozak: *slaps her again, even harder than last time* Shut up!

Lauriel: *is half crying* Fine!

Dr Kozak: Good. Now remain silent.

Lauriel: You're not the boss of me.

Dr Kozak just flashed her a warning look, not saying anything else for a long long time.

Dr Kozak: *is calmer now although is still really really mad at Lauriel on the inside* Technically I am. I am your father, Lauriel.

Lauriel: No you're not!

Dr Kozak: *shouts back at her exasperatingly* Yeah well, I was supposed to be!

Lauriel didn't say anything because by then Dr Kozak had forced her to try on the costume.

Lauriel: Okay but is there anywhere I can go to try this on?

Dr Kozak: Yeah. *points to the back of his laboratory* There's a dressing room over there.

Lauriel left him, and walked to the dressing room, with the purple and red spider webbed and lacy dress, just staring at him.

Lauriel: Why the hell is there a dressing room in your laboratory?

Dr Kozak: Stop asking me questions and get a move on Lauriel!

After hearing that, Lauriel rolled her eyes one more time, then got dressed into the costume. It took her about ten minutes to do that, because it was hard to put on and even harder to zip up all by herself.

When she headed back outside after the ten minutes, Dr Kozak just stared at her, smiling.

Lauriel: *stares at the dress and frowns* How do I look?

Dr Kozak: If only you could see yourself through my eyes because you look like solid gold, Lauriel.

Lauriel: What do you mean?

Dr Kozak: You look great.

Lauriel: *beams* Really?

Dr Kozak: *frowns* No.

That was when Lauriel shot him a dirty look, Dr Kozak giving her the same thing when he realised that Lauriel was giving him one.

Lauriel: I don't like this dress.

Dr Kozak: *changes subject completely* Your eyelashes seem longer and darker than usual. Are you wearing mascara?

Lauriel: Yeah, why?

Dr Kozak: Remove it.

Lauriel: Why?

Dr Kozak: I said remove it!

Lauriel: Okay!

And saying that, Lauriel removed all the make up on her face.

Dr Kozak insisted that the reason he wanted her make up to be removed was because he was going to give her a new makeover.

Lauriel: You? Give me a makeover? I'd like to see you try.

Dr Kozak: I'm better than you think at doing make up so shut up!

Dr Kozak then fixed new make up on Lauriel's face, a little bit too much though, smiling to himself and showing her a mirror.

Lauriel: *stares at her face* I look horrible!

Dr Kozak: So nothing's changed much then.

Lauriel: Why do I look like I've just been resurrected from the dead?

Dr Kozak: Because you're supposed to pretend to be a serial killer you imbecile. Don't worry. I'll remove it when the test is over.

Lauriel didn't say anything, she just left the laboratory, then came back.

Lauriel: Dr Kozak?

Dr Kozak: Yeah?

Lauriel: Do I get a reward for pretending to be a serial killer?

Dr Kozak didn't say anything, just smiled to himself.

Dr Kozak: That's for me to know and for you to wish you did. Now run along to the knife that killed me now, Kieran's test starts in just a few minutes.

Lauriel then left the room, Dr Kozak accidentally slamming the door on himself.

Then remembering what Lauriel had asked him, he brought it back to memory.

Lauriel: Dr Kozak?

Dr Kozak: Yeah?

Lauriel: Do I get a reward for pretending to be a serial killer?

"Oh trust me, Lauriel, you have no idea the type of 'reward' I'm going to give you."

Moral of chapter: It's a shame no one is clairvoyant like Dr Kozak is. Seeing into the future would have been really useful!
