Dr Kozak was back.

Well, the serial killer version of Dr Kozak was back.

The nice version? Not so much.

There really wasn't much time left for Dr K, Kieran and Esperanza to get the trophy back. The "seventeen" seconds remaining soon became sixteen, and Kieran found himself frantically hyperventilating as the timer went down.

It turned out, he could freeze the timer twice. But that was it. He had therefore told Dr Kozak this, who had pretty much just yelled but then smiled at him, before freezing it when it had hit fifteen seconds.

Dr Kozak and Kieran had walked closer to where Alastair and Victor had been killed, coming closer to Esperanza who was screaming and practically crying in pain due to how painful everything was.

"Esperanza!" Both Kieran and Kozak had yelled simultaneously.

"Crud. She doesn't look okay," Kieran told Dr Kozak, staring at a rather unconscious Esperanza then left her to look at Dr Kozak's face, who was staring at Kieran non stop.

It probably would have been better had Esperanza not nearly died three times on her godforsaken birthday, but considering that it was her birthday today had only really made everything twice as worse.

"You get her left hand, I get her right," Dr Kozak ordered, and as soon as Kieran had heard that sentence, they both pulled Esperanza's hand, helping her up, which was when Esperanza fainted, Dr Kozak catching her.

"Well we've done that... Now what?"

"You get the keys to the trophy from Alastair's tuxedo pocket," Dr Kozak commanded, Kieran nodding and getting right to doing that.

"What about Esperanza?"

"I'll try and see if she's still alive," Dr Kozak replied, placing her on a table and checking to see if she was breathing and that her pulse rate was still okay.

Kieran and Kozak had departed after that. Kieran took the keys from Alastair's tuxedo pocket, trying to unlock the trophy cupboard, whilst Dr Kozak was dealing with Esperanza in the meantime.

He had barely even checked if Esperanza was properly alive before Dr Kozak suddenly noticed that both of his hands were bleeding like mad.

He stared at both of his palms in disbelief.

"Crud. Victor and Alastair must have thrown me across the room real hard," he muttered to himself, pressing hard on Esperanza's stomach.

She grunted in return, not saying anything. When she had opened her eyes fully, she stared straight ahead but then slowly turned her head so that she was facing Dr Kozak.

Dr Kozak couldn't have been more jubilant. Not just for saving Esperanza's life, for actually knowing that she was still alive.

Dr Kozak: *looks at her in the eyes* Esperanza... *long, melodramatic pause* Esperanza...

Esperanza muttered something in gibberish in return. She got up from where she was, still sitting on the table, her legs continuously dangling underneath it.

Dr Kozak: *says this in his deepest voice ever* You okay?

Esperanza placed an ice pack on her head which she had managed to find underneath the sofa in which they were hiding from.

Esperanza: *says this really slowly, is screaming in pain when she places the ice pack on her head and it really hurts* Yeah.. I'm fine.. Although one question though... What happened to me?

Dr Kozak: *says this without pausing* Alastair basically beat you up to death. Luckily I killed him and saved you.

Esperanza had no idea what that meant. She had felt as though she had short term amnesia (she didn't though), although she still smiled anyway.

Esperanza: Thank you sir...*hugs Dr Kozak*

Dr Kozak: *hugs her back and smiles to himself secretly* It's a shame all of this had happened on your birthday though.

Esperanza: It's fine. I deserved it.

Dr Kozak didn't say anything. He didn't want to tell her she was right but... She was right.

Well, except:

"I hate to say I told you so, but, I told you so..."

Esperanza shrugged, then left sitting on the table, standing up, only for her to kind of collapse again, Dr Kozak catching her.

"Where's Kieran?" She muttered.

"Over there trying to steal the trophy."

They both watched Kieran as he struggled to open the trophy cupboard.

And yes, it was the right key, Kieran just couldn't open it for some reason.

Dr Kozak was about to say something to Kieran but then stifled it when they had heard a sort of beeping sound going on in the background.

"What was that?" Esperanza wanted to know eagerly.

Nobody replied. Even though the sound was coming from Dr Kozak's phone, the whole place was making a really deafening loud sound and the room was flashing red.

"Crud. The timer unfroze. We've only got fifteen seconds left to get that trophy and leave DIE ANNA INCORPORATED, and I can't freeze the timer anymore."

Then proceeding that came the words:

Fifteen.

Dr Kozak said the F word really loudly under his breath, Esperanza hearing him.

"Dr Kozak!"

"I'm sorry." He told her, moving out of the way and helping Kieran open the trophy cupboard. "I swear under pressure."

Fourteen.

"No time for talking! We've got to open this thing."

This was coming from Kieran of course.

They really didn't have much time left.

They had to leave. No joke.

Thirteen.

Dr Kozak said the S word really loudly about ten consecutive times, both Esperanza and Kieran hearing him.

"Stop swearing, Dr Kozak," Kieran told him. Although before he said the word swearing he said the F word himself.

"Hypocrite," Dr Kozak answered.

Twelve.

Dr Kozak and Kieran had given up completely. Diana was good.

Even though she was dead, she still pretty much knew every trick in the book.

"I give up!" Kieran yelled. In the meantime, Dr Kozak just released the trophy cupboard and completely let go of the silver and luminous handle that you had to open it.

"Guys. Don't give up," Esperanza told them. Both of them had replied 'why' which was when Esperanza grinned at both of them, showing them a hammer she found in Diana's black wardrobe of multi coloured "guns".

No one could have been more happy.

No really. They couldn't.

Eleven.

Snatching the hammer off of Esperanza's hand, Dr Kozak smashed the trophy cupboard, only making the red alarm sound even louder, much to everyone's irritation.

Kieran grabbed the trophy that they needed, although when they were about to leave, more security guards had arrived.

"What's going on?"

Ten.

"Crud." This was coming both from Dr Kozak and Esperanza as well, as they had turned to face the security guards to see where they were coming from.

Their right.

"Jesus Christ. For goodness sake, how many security guards has Diana got?" Kieran asked, holding the trophy, which was when Dr Kozak just stared at him spitefully then looked away, holding a turquoise coloured gun from Diana's black wardrobe of multi coloured guns.

"Doesn't matter," Dr Kozak answered, killing all of them. "Guys, we need to leave."

They then left the place which was when the timer went even quicker, making Kieran even more annoyed.

Nine.

Eight.

Seven.

"Wait a second. How do we get out of here?!" Kieran shouted, turning to Dr Kozak.

"I texted my sister Nurse Elizabeth and my bestest friend ever Ezekiel to bring me my teleporter before handing my phone to you for the timer. See? It's right there. Get inside, guys."

He escorted them inside of the teleporter, closing it, but didn't say anything.

"Hang on a second, I thought you lost your teleportation when your daughter destroyed your gun."

This was coming from Esperanza. Dr Kozak didn't say anything. Nobody knew how but Kieran dropped the trophy, and the next minute it was out of the teleporter, on the floor.

Six.

"Kieran! You need to get that trophy!" Esperanza and Dr Kozak hollered in his face at the same time.

So hearing that, Kieran left, picking up the 125th golden trophy.

Although someone was stopping him.

As soon as Kieran had picked up the trophy, someone was also touching it as well.

Steadily, Kieran looked up. Even though everyone thought he was dead, Kieran was a bit surprised when he saw...

"Alastair?" He echoed really loudly for everyone in DIE ANNA INCORPORATED to hear. "I thought Dr Kozak killed you!"

"I'm not Alastair. I'm his twin brother, Alexander. And there's absolutely no sure fire way that you're going to leave here with Diana's trophy."

Kieran and Alexander were struggling with the trophy, Dr Kozak and Esperanza still in the teleporter, watching him.

Esperanza: Dr Kozak, Kieran needs help, really badly it seems. We've only got six seconds left.

Five.

Dr Kozak: Five now.

Esperanza: *slaps him gently* You're not helping!

Dr Kozak: *brings out a purple gun from Diana's black wardrobe of multi coloured guns and then casually leaves the teleporter* Stay here, Esperanza. I will be right back. Promise. *faintly smiles at her, Esperanza notices and smiles. But her smile isn't faint. It's real. It's genuine."

Well, Esperanza smiled for about two seconds anyway.

Esperanza: *is frantically panicking* Why though? What's going on?

Dr Kozak didn't reply.

Esperanza: *is hyperventilating uncontrollably, this is because they really haven't got much time left before they fail the mission and die* What are you doing, Dr Kozak?

Dr Kozak: *is walking away from Esperanza and the teleporter, coming closer to Kieran* Well, someone needs to be killed, right?

Esperanza didn't say anything. She couldn't really say anything anyway because by the time Dr Kozak had finished his sentence, he headed outside.

He tried killing Alexander but it backfired.

"Crud. The gun stopped working! The gun stopped working!"

Four.

"We've only got four seconds left, Dr Kozak!"

"I know that, Kieran!"

Kieran couldn't take this anymore. And the next bit had happened in slow motion. He kicked, punched, and then did some karate on Alexander, and the next minute, he was dead.

Dr Kozak was surprised as he watched Kieran pick up the trophy and head back to the teleporter.

"Nice karate moves, kid."

Kieran smiled.

"Thanks."

Three.

"Guys! Hurry up! You're wasting time!"

As soon as Esperanza had said this, that was when Dr Kozak and Kieran had entered the teleporter, Dr Kozak holding the 125th golden trophy this time in case the same thing had happened again.

Two.

Dr Kozak kept pressing the buttons continuously, realising something.

"I've lost my teleportation! It's not working!!"

Kieran and Esperanza both did a face palm.

"Unless you two have got some other way that we can get out of here, then please suggest it to me right now because we've literally only got two seconds left, and I'm not joking about that!"

Kieran and Esperanza just stared blankly at each other. And by the looks of it, they were both whispering the same thing because they were helplessly smiling at each other.

"So you've got a plan then, by the look on your faces and by me reading both of your minds?"

Esperanza and Kieran both nodded at the same time.

"What is it then?"

"Press every button in this teleporter until we're completely out of DIE ANNA INCORPORATED!"

So they all frantically did just that.

One.

They were still there. Nothing happened.

And...

Zero!
