Hope and Josie are sat in history, except they were learning about useless magic that Hope was taught while a child. The teacher rambles endlessly about how this spell can't be used offensively because of the use it is intended for caring and friendly reasons.

Then the door opens and a note floats in, the teacher grabs it and raises his eyebrow in surprise, everyone is looking curiously waiting to learn what's got the teacher so surprised before turning towards the girlfriends sat at the back, talking softly to each other.

"Hope Mikaelson and Josie Saltzman, Dr Saltzman is requesting your presence, Hope turns to Josie and Josie looks at her, they have an inkling about why they are being called out of class "does it say why?" Josie asks, packing her stuff up.

"Yeah. Something about the fire last night, the burning of many vampire history books" the teacher informs them, Josie falters in her putting away of stuff.

Then they make their way to Josie's dads office, whispering animatedly to each other and when they enter the big office they are surprised to see Hope's family in the room, however they don't look please and Hope turns to Josie looking her in the eye and mouthing 'shit'.

"hey aunt Frey-" Hope is cut off "Don't you Aunt Freya me. What is it that I'm hearing about? you set a fire last night" Freya says furiously. Hope goes to answer but Josie speaks up "actually, I was me that started the fire, and it was my idea too. I don't want to explain why because it doesn't really matter so please don't blame it mostly on Hope as she agreed with me but was more than content to go upstairs and cuddle" Josie blurts out.

The adults in the room look at her with surprise "well, either way their will be punishment. But if you can at least explain the reasoning the punishment will be fair" Ric tries to reason with the teen. Josie stays silent, turning towards her girlfriend who is reaching out to grab Josie's hand.

"Jo. It's okay" Hope assures before facing the adults in the room.

"I was in the library and some kids were saying stuff about dad. And Josie asked me what I wanted to do, and because I was frustrated I said that I wanted to burn all of the stupid books and so Josie said that we would do it. I said that you would be pissed and she didn't care because she wanted to make me feel better. I'm sorry Mr Saltzman" Hope says, moving her gaze from his and turning towards her family "I'm sorry guys.." Hope mutters.

"Okay. thank you for telling us but a punishment is still in place so, your punishment is..."
