The moment the Mikaelsons got to the school they put the plan into mission, using josie and Lizzie to syphon of Freya and then Freya using her own magic they managed to overpower the monster, long enough for it to be killed at least.

So they celebrated, throwing a small party, just the Mikaelson's, Saltzman's and their friends.
