Chapter 5

Third POV

Sasha ran upstairs to grab her backpack and capsule. Both in hand, Sasha ran out the back door and tossed the latter onto the ground, jumping in hiljet and starting it up.

Once the engine was purring, Sasha flew her hiljet.

Downtown was usually a mess of crime, so she tended to start her patrols over in that area and work her way outwards through the city. She was considering stopping at a coffee place down not too far from her house on her way to patrol when a flash of color distracted her. She blinked as she traced a familiar green and red object streaking through the air.

"Saiyawoman!"

Sasha pressed down on the gas and chased Saiyawoman. She never found Saiyawoman in the air while she was flying to school or crime scenes, she wasn't going to let the opportunity go to waste.

The city below her became unfocused as she chased the masked crimefighter. She smirked as she began to see Saiyawoman drawing closer. She floored it, giving it all she had. Then Saiyawoman turned around.

One moment, Saiyawoman was barely fifty feet in front of her, and the next moment, she vanished!

Sasha slowed to a stop, almost fast enough to give her whiplash.

"No way!" Sasha said, a hint of anger in her voice, "People can't just do that!" She knew Saiyawoman was fast and could fly, but she didn't have any sort of cloaking powers to her knowledge. So how did she just vanish?

She wheeled around in the air, doing a 360 to check the skies. No sign of anyone, Saiyawoman.

Sasha huffed, "That girl good at getting away, I'll give her that." Sasha admitted. She then smirked. "But your real identity can't stay hidden forever. I'll see you at school, Sasha."

Rooftop

"Close one, next time I should arrive at school earlier. Don't want a repeat of Sasha seeing me again."

Bayley arrives at San Jose High School. She lands on the rooftop, then looks around to see if there is anyone around. Upon making sure she's alone, she transforms back to her normal clothes. She leaves the rooftop and walks to the lockers to put her things

Classroom

Bayley walks into the classroom.

"Hey Bayley! You're here early today." Mojo said, "Yeah woke up early, I guess." Bayley answers.

"Did you hear about that the same superhero who been helping the city appeared again and helped put out the flames of the building. I think she's called Great something." Chad said trying to remember the superhero name.

"Great Saiyawoman! She's called the Great Saiyawoman."

Bayley was getting tired of people getting her superhero name wrong.

"Okay! You don't have to yell." Chad said taken back by Bayley yelling at him and Mojo.

"Sorry..." Bayley apologizes realizes what she's done.

"You look as if you know that Great Saiyawoman so well." Chad noted how defensive Bayley was for the hero, " Eh... I... I know someone who saw her."

Sasha suddenly arrives, surprising Bayley, Chad, and Mojo.

"And who is that someone, Bayley?" Sasha asks joining the conversation. Bayley almost jumps in surprise, "You saw her last Saturday during that incident with the fire." Bayley reminds her.

"I don't remember telling you that only Becky and Charlotte know." Sasha said narrowing her eyes at her making Bayley laugh nervously.

"I'll... go sit in my seat."

Bayley leaves the three.

"I think Bayley is a secret fan of the Great Saiyawoman." Chad said as Mojo nods in agreement.

"That, or..."

Sasha does not finish her sentence as she looks suspiciously at Bayley

Lunch

The next two classes went about as well as they did normally, and then it was lunch time.

The group of now four made their way through the cafeteria, and out the doors to the yard, picking a nice table that was sitting in the sunlight. Each of them picking a corner, they sat down and sat down their lunches, except Bayley, who was fiddling with the capsule in her hand.

Sasha noticed that Bayley was the only one without food in front of her.

"Forgot your lunch today?" She asked wanting to know if so she can offer her food to Bayley. Bayley shook his head, "Nah, I just didn't want to crowd the table."

"Oh, relax, Bayls. It'll be fine." Becky said. Bayley smiled, "Alright then." She said, bringing her capsule up. Clicking the button, she lightly tossed it onto her corner of the table.

A large puff of smoke followed, and as it cleared, the other three's eyes bulged.

They knew Bayley ate a lot. They saw several containers around her about a week ago when they found her on the roof. But most of those were empty and scattered. So it didn't really register just how much food Bayley had packed.

"This is like a feast for six people, right here." Charlotte said shocked to see this much food, "What can I say? I eat a lot and have a fast metabolism. That's about all there is to it." Bayley rubbed the back of her head sheepishly

"No need to attribute those two biological factors to being half Saiyan."

"Geez, I guess." Becky muttered.

Bayley grabbed a tupperware container that was close to the top of the stack and opened it up, beginning to eat the food. The food inside was gone in about thirty seconds. This wasn't noticed as much, since the other three had started eating their own meals, but they still saw it, and they still couldn't believe it.

"So..." Sasha started as she neared finishing her meal, "Saiyawoman seems to be nearly taking over the city."

"What do you mean by 'taking over'?" Becky asked, "I mean that there's less and less people out there causing trouble, because they all fear Saiyawoman." Sasha growled. "Um, I might be missing something, but isn't it a good thing that Saiyawoman is causing crime to go down?" Bayley said hoping Sasha will realize that Saiyawoman is helping the city.

"There she is defending Saiyawoman again."

"I agree with Bayley. Great Saiyawoman helped you yesterday by putting out the fire." Becky reminds her, "I don't see that as a threat. She's helping the city just like you do." Becky says smiling. Bayley smiles as well glad that Becky sees her as a hero for the city.

"Yeah, sure, but I'm out there doing things by the book. She's just some vigilante wearing a weird costume that comes swooping in when she feels like it. For all I know, she could be a serious threat to the city."

"I agree with the costume part, who would take her as a serious threat with that costume?" Charlotte asked. "I've seen the pictures of her, and I doubt a criminal mastermind or anything like that would wear something that goofy. But Becky is also right I don't think you need to worry about her."

"Why does everyone hate the costume? It's amazing!"

Bayley frowned annoyed that people are making fun of her costume.

"So far, I've only learned a few things about this Saiyawoman character." Sasha said sharply, "She's a vigilante crime fighter, who uses tricks to fight. I've also noted the she only shows up at crimes that take place before 8 A.M., from 2 P.M. to 4 P.M., and strangely enough, any crime I get called out to during school hours." She shot a sideways looks at Bayley which made her blood run cold.

"Those are some pretty coincidental times. She only knows about crimes that seem to take place right before and right after the school schedule, and she appears at ones that I'm specifically get called out for."

Bayley didn't stop eating her lunch, but she was mentally freaking out.

How in the hell is she so good at connecting the dots like this?! Is she some psychic."

"So you have a better understanding about which crime scenes she'll show up to?" Becky asked. "What do you plan to do?" Charlotte asked. "I'm still working on that. But soon. I promised that I'd unmask this Saiyawoman person." Sasha said.

"Yeah, you promised alright. This is probably the eighth time now."

Bayley discovered a pattern that anytime she showed up in the crime scene to help Sasha it result with Sasha yelling at that she'll unmask her as she flys away.

"And you know, there's something else that I can't shake about Saiyawoman." Sasha noted, "It's weird, that suddenly Levesque city, we get a wannabe superhero hero the day after we get a particular new student." Sasha said this time her glare towards Bayley lasted a bit longer.

"What are you looking at me for?" Bayley said as innocently as ahe could, "It's probably just a coincidence."

Sasha didn't believe one word Bayley said.

"Sooner or later, you're going to slip. Everyone does."

The school bell rings indicating that lunch is over and to head to class.

The four throws away their food in the trash can and walk back to class.

Classroom

"Hold on, guys." Sasha said, bringing her watch up and clicking the button. "What is it, chief?"

"Sasha, we've got a situation here." The police chief said, not surprising her, "We just got told that some guy walking into City Hall, and he's going for the mayor, knocking everyone out who gets in his way. None of our guys are able to stop him. We need your help."

"An entire police force can't stop one guy? This guy must be strong."

"Okay, stay calm I am on my way." Sasha said as she jumped out of her seat and ran toward the door.

"May I be excused, sir... thank you!" Sasha said as she ran out the door.

"Well actually... never mind..." The teacher said since it was too late to try and make her stay.

Bayley watched her go, and tried to relax. After hearing Sasha figure out the pattern of when Saiyawoman appears Bayley thought it be best to sit this one out.

Bayley made sure to keep track on Sasha's energy.

"She was moving fast towards the center of the city, "Sasha's pretty good for a human that doesn't know about Ki. Sasha can defeat him easily. But the chief did tell Sasha that the entire police force couldn't stop one guy... screw it I can't risk Sasha safety."

Bayley got up from her seat.

"And where might you be going..." The teacher asked but was quickly cut off by Bayley, "Ah, bathroom..." Bayley answered as she ran out of the classroom.

"Hero time!" Bayley said as she ran up onto the roof top of the school and transformed into her Great Saiyawoman costume and blasting off from the top of the building, and went to city hall to help Sasha.

City Hall

Surround the mayor's building were dozens of cop cars tactically positioned. There was a metal fence surrounding the government building except for an opening meant as a walkway about twenty feet in length. There were at least twenty cops taking position behind their cars, where the police captain could be seen trying to negotiate with the gang members.

"We want Triple H to get over here now, or the mayor gets it."

"Why do you want to see Triple H?" The mayor asked terrified as he was currently being held at gunpoint.

"Because our boss wants to challenge him to a fight, that's why."

"Are you crazy, Triple H is the strongest fighter in the world. You're boss can't possibly defeat him." The mayor says.

Suddenly a very large man bald man with a mustache wearing a black singlet, and knee pads. He stood nearly eight feet tall and looked to be skilled in the ways of martial arts.

"You worship him because you think he is strong. Well after I destroy him you will see what true strength really is. Then your people will worship me as a hero, instead of that fraud." The large man said, "You're crazy; you're no hero, just some nut job who's going to get himself killed when Triple H comes." The mayor shot back making the large man growl angrily.

"You better watch yourself fat man. We're running the show here." One of the thugs.

Sasha arrives to the crime scene.

"What's going on here?" Sasha asks the captain, "The big guy is the leader of the gang, he says he won't release the mayor unless your father comes here and fights him." The captain informs Sasha.

Sasha scoffs, "He wants to fight my father. That guy must be dumber than he looks. Well if he's looking for a fight, I guess I better give him one."

Sasha then proceeded to walk through the gate and up to the boss of the Gang.

"What do you think you are doing little girl?" The boss asks, "I'm here to take you out, that's what." Sasha calmly replied.

One of the goons, somewhat frightened, turned to speak to his boss, "Hey boss, I think that's Sasha Levesque, Triple H daughter." The thug informs the boss.

"So the great Triple H can't fight his own battles anymore. He sends his puny daughter out to fight the bad guys. He is even more pathetic than I thought." The boss said laughing, "My dad is an important man; he doesn't have time to take on every dimwitted criminal who challenges him." Sasha retorts smirking at the boss angry face.

"You sure have a mouth on you little girl. Let's see if you're still talking after I break you in half." The boss said.

"Bring it on you overgrown circus reject."

Sasha jumped in the air and kicked the man in the face, but to her surprise it didn't even faze the man.

She landed and looked up at him, "You may look vicious but I bet you don't have a lot of brains." Sasha said smirking as she got ready to attack again.

"And you are supposed to be some genius don't make me laugh I will put a stop to you Sasha Levesque." The man said as he approached her.

The gang leader threw a punch at Sasha but she quickly dodged it and retaliated.

All of a sudden some of the gang members began to fire their guns at Sasha.

Sasha began to dodge the bullets as fast as she could. Seeing an opening the gang leader attacked her knocking her down to the ground with a mighty punch.

"Hey you back off!"

The gang leader turned around to see The Great Saiyawoman standing there.

"You back off chump!" One of the gang members said holding his gun up to Bayley's head. Bayley nonchalantly took two of her fingers and bent the end of the gun, preventing it from firing.

"Mister, you and your men had better get out of this city while you still can." Bayley said approaching the gang leader, "Who are you?" The boss asked.

"Who am I? SAIYAWOMAN!"

Sasha got up from the ground and saw Saiyawoman posing in front of the gang leader.

"Great, this idiot just keeps trying to steal my thunder!"

"Hey go home!" Sasha yelled at her throwing Bayley off balance, "Oh hi there fancy meeting you here." Bayley joked in her Saiyawoman voice.

"Look, no one asked you to come here so stop interfering in my business, jerk!" Sasha yelled at her.

Bayley looked at her blankly.

"You heard me, I can handle this!" She responded to Bayley still angry.

"But I just..." Bayley started but then Sasha cut her off.

"You just want to get in my way, just like that Gold Fighter; I can handle this ON MY OWN! Now leave get out of here!" Sasha yelled at her, "If this is about earlier this morning..." She began.

"Enough! I can't take it anymore, boys shut this girl up!" The boss ordered pointing at Bayley.

Two of the gang members ran up behind her and started to fire off their guns. Bayley quickly dodged them and knocked them out.

"Are you ok there sir?" Bayley asked the mayor as she untied him, "Yes, thanks to you." The mayor said relieved to be free.

All of a sudden out of nowhere one of the gang members fired a rocket at Bayley and the mayor. Bayley quickly got up and stopped the rocket with a wave of energy, guiding the rocket slowly back to the gang member where it blew up.

All of a sudden Bayley looked over to see the gang leader with Sasha in a head lock. Bayley angrily ran towards him but before she got there Sasha jabbed the gang leader in his stomach knock the wind out of him thus causing him to let her go. Sasha then jumped and kicked him in the back of the head knocking him down to the ground.

"What a girl she decked him right in the head. Wow I have never seen a girl do that before...well other than my little sister but she doesn't count. She really didn't need my help after all.

Bayley looked at Sasha in amazement.

"Charlotte is right, Sasha is a great fighter."

Afterwards the cops were arresting the gang members and answering questions from police so Bayley decided it was time for him to leave.

"Well, goodbye Miss Sasha!" Bayley said as she began to fly off.

"Hey, Saiyawoman wait a minuet! Thank you." Sasha said to Bayley sincerely.

"Sure, no prob." Bayley said back to her smiling, "Hey that doesn't mean that I still don't want to know who you really are. I will find out!" Sasha said to her smirking.

The final bell rings signaling school is now over.

"Alright Sash spill it, what is going on between you and you know who." Becky asked her friend as they walked of the school building.

Sasha stared at her friend blankly, "What are you talking about? Wait do you you mean Bayley?"

Bayley walking behind them stopped in her tracks shocked.

"That's exactly who I am talking about she just disappeared from class right after you did." Becky said, "You're kidding, darn her! Hey where did she go?" Sasha said as she turned around to look for Bayley.

"She was just behind us that's weird." Becky said looking around.

Bayley was hiding behind a trash can as they walked by.

"Listen you guys when a geek disappears you should be glad." Charlotte said cockily.

"Bayley's not a geek; she's a heck of a lot cooler than you are, Flair." Sasha said snapping back at her.

"WHAT?!"

"You heard me." Sasha threatened her.

"I never seen Sasha act like this for anyone besides Charlotte and I. Does Sasha maybe like Bayley."

Becky thinks back to the way Sasha acted during the amusement park and her eyes widen realizing that Sasha wasn't flushing cause of the fire but because of Bayley being close to her and then what Sasha said when Charlotte called Bayley weird.

"I can't assume things maybe I'm overthinking."

"Yeah and she's cuter too!" Becky said and glances at Sasha and sees her cheeks faintly red.

"Yeah, if your type is scrawny and weak." Charlotte said back to her smirking, "Sasha doesn't need a girl; she can kick your butt all by herself!" Becky said proudly.

"No she can't!" Charlotte said getting angry, "Yes she can!" Becky said getting frustrated with Charlotte.

"Yes I can!" Sasha pronounced happily.

"Whatever..." Charlotte said in defeat.
