Third POV

Two Years Later

Two years have passed and since then Bayley attended San Jose college in a scholarship studying to become a professor while Sasha decided not to go college but open her own martial arts school and it has been successful, Daniel works at the school as well helping Sasha teach the students. As for Becky and Charlotte they left San Jose and now live in Pennsylvania the four still keep in touch and visit whenever they get a chance too.

Bayley couldn't help but hesitate before knocking on the door, she knew this would change her life. Well it wasn't as much as the door as it was the person inside the house that will. The person inside was Triple H, the father of Bayley's girlfriend Sasha.

All different scenarios were running through her mind. But as soon as she thought of her girlfriend's face as she proposed gave her the confidence to knock on the door.

It wasn't that the Triple H didn't like her. The two got along fine. But asking for permission to marry Sasha was asking for death. When Bayley told Daniel that she's scared to ask Triple H blessing to marry Sasha he bursted out laughing that Bayley, the strongest person in the world whose faced various strong opponents and saved the world is scared to ask Triple H permission to marry Sasha was hilarious. Once Daniel was done laughing he encouraged Bayley that theirs nothing to be scared of and assured her that Triple H will give his blessing.

The door opened and Bayley knew this was it. She knew she'll go through this a million more times if it meant getting to be with Sasha for the rest of her life.

"Bayley? What're you doing here? Sasha isn't here." Triple H asked confused and Bayley could feel her palms getting sweating. "I know. She told me she'd be with Nikki and Brie today."

Triple H step aside to let Bayley into the house where she saw that the tv was on. That seemed to be playing some sort of romance show. She didn't bother to question it because she didn't want to get on his bad side before she could ask to marry Sasha.

Triple H seemed to notice it too because he raced towards the remote control and quickly shut the tv off.

He motioned Bayley to sit anywhere, and she chose to sit in the seat farthest away from him.

"So what do I owe this surprise visit?"

"Well I have something very important to ask you, sir." Bayley stopped and took a deep breath, "Sasha and I have been together for three years and I've been thinking that I want to take it to the next-"

"You don't need to say anything else." Triple H interrupted. "You do?" Bayley asked shocked not to see him freaking out maybe Daniel was right, "Yes, I completely understand. You want my permission to ask Sasha out on a date."

Bayley is dumbfounded hearing him say that, did he forget that she and Sasha have been on dates before. She no longer needed his permission to take Sasha on dates. Bayley was unaware that realization had hit Triple H now understanding what Bayley meant.

Before Bayley could clarify what she meant

"If you weren't here before to ask permission to ask her out on a date, what were you here to ask?" Triple H asked wanting to make sure if what he thought was correct. "I was hoping to ask for her hand in marriage?" Bayley nervously answered wishing he'll say yes so she can leave, "What makes you think you're worthy of my daughter?" He continued to question her.

"She means the world to me. I mean when we first met she was scary and I still sometimes find her scary. But I don't know how I'll survived without her being in my life. She accept me for who I am and doesn't view me differently despite knowing what I can do and my family history. And I just know if we were married, I'd cherish everyday with her as if it were my last."

After her rant Bayley looked up to see Triple H staring at her. The emotions behind the look were unreadable. He left the living room resulting in Bayley's heart pounding thousands of times a second. She couldn't take anymore of this. He came back and his hands were behind his back.

"After much consideration, I have decided that you are eligible and have my blessing to ask Sasha to marry you."

Bayley nerves faded from her and a giant smile instead appeared on her face. She got up and hugged him. "Thank you so much, sir." Bayley said pulling away and just as she was about to leave Triple H stopped her.

"Before you leave I want to give you this." He said revealing what he was hiding behind him which was a small black box, Bayley took the box and opened it revealing a ring with a thin silver band, the diamond set in the middle with an intricate pattern, reflecting off light and making it shimmer.

"The ring belonged to her mother." Triple H revealed, "My father gave that ring to my mother and my mother gave the ring to me before I proposed to Stephanie now I want you to have it."

Bayley continued looking at the ring and then looked at Triple H.

"Thank you, sir. I promise I'll make Sasha the happiest woman on the planet and protect her with my life."
