Chapter 13
Third POV
Bayley continues training Sasha. That afternoon, she was able to fly more than what she did yesterday.
"That's great, Sasha! Your progress is amazing." Bayley complimented, "It sure takes a lot of energy." Sasha said as flys down and sits down on the grass. Bayley follows her and sits a few feet away from her.
"Your house is very nice. It's small, but it's so homey. It's so beautiful!" Sasha said looking at the surroundings and lies down the grass and closes her eyes.
"I could stay like this forever." Sasha said as unaware that Bayley is smiling at her as she listens, "I can't remember the last time we went on a picnic together. I mean, me and my dad... I guess it was back when my father is still a nobody. I guess it could have been different if my mother didn't die. At least she's there to take me to picnics and places like this.
Bayley smile faded.
"How long has your mother been dead?" Bayley hesitatingly asked, "She died a few months after I was born. My dad does not want to talk about it, so I don't know a lot about her. All I know is that she enjoyed fighting. And she is beautiful and kind..."
"Maybe she is like you."
Sasha opens her eyes.
Bayley blushes, "I mean... you're kind... you enjoying fighting... and... well... you're... you're beautiful..." Bayley looks away.
Sasha giggles and it made Bayley look back.
"Thanks... well, you're good-looking yourself." Sasha said complimenting Bayley it made both girls blush.
"I saw your father's picture. You kind of look like each other." Sasha said, "Yeah... mom always say that." Bayley replied smiling as she thinks about her dad.
"How come I never met him?" Sasha asked and the smile on Bayley face disappeared, "He died seven years ago."
"I'm sorry." Sasha whispered, biting her lip. She places her hand on Bayley knee in comfort.
Bayley smiles, "It's fine I remember the memories that I had with him and it cheers me up. I know he's watching over me, AJ, and my mom." Bayley said.
What was you're dad like? He seems to be a nice person... just like you." Sasha said, "Yeah he was the nicest, kindest person. He would see the best in people and give them a second chance even when they didn't deserve it... he was the strongest fighter."
Sasha smiles as she stares at Bayley who seemed to sense it, so she looks back. That made Sasha smile fade slowly. Not because something bad is happening, but because her heart suddenly beat faster. She doesn't understand what's happening.
Bayley continues to stare, quite enjoying the view that Sasha's beautiful face is giving her. Bayley starts to notice every feature of Sasha face. Her brown eyes, her cute nose, her pink lips. That's where Bayley eyes landed last. It seems they do not want to leave that spot.
"Bayley!"
Bayley looks away as Sasha turns her head to the other direction. AJ is now in front of them.
"Are you done training already?" AJ asked, "Ah... we're... w-we're just resting. Right, Sasha?" Bayley asks as she nervously laughs.
"Yeah. You know, it's airy and comfy here. I just thought I might lay down for a while." Sasha said as she stands up.
"I think it's hot in here. Your faces are both red." AJ said Bayley and Sasha look at each other, and upon seeing each other's faces they blush some more.
"I guess... it is... a little warm, yeah..." Sasha stutters, "Let's head back to the house to drink some water. That might cool us off a little." Bayley said and the two leave while AJ watches confused.
"Grownups are so complicated."
After a few more days of private lessons Sasha was able to float higher than a tree while Bayley stood below and watched her.
"Look Bayls I'm higher than the tress!" Sasha said as Bayley smiled, "Yeah you soaked this stuff up like a sponge." Bayley said as Sasha laughed with joy.
"Now we can work on the harder moves." Bayley said just as AJ came flying fast past Sasha as she moved around fast threw the skies making flying look easy.
"So how long does it take to fly around like that?" Sasha asked Bayley rubbed the back of her neck and nervously grinned knowing we're this question is heading, "Um, well it just depends on the person really." Bayley replied and Sasha looked down at her.
"I won't stop till I fly like him." Sasha said causing Bayley to gasped, "Just a second." Bayley said and flew up in front of AJ stopping her from flying away.
"Hey sis, try and slow it down while Sasha here, could you." Bayley quietly asked, "But how come?" AJ asked slightly annoyed that she needs to hold back, "Just do it for me okay." Bayley said and flew back down before AJ could respond back.
"Problem?" Sasha asked still in the air, "No just gave her a little advice." Bayley lied as Sasha flew back down to the ground and wiped sweat from her forehead.
"It's break time." Sasha said sitting down on the ground, "Bayley I would rather have you not tell my dad about these lessons I want it to be a surprise at the tournament, okay."
"Sure, don't worry, I'll never run into him." Bayley said assuring Sasha, "That's good because if he knew I was hanging out at someone house that isn't Becky or Charlotte he'll be mad and rant." Sasha said and told Bayley about her dad dating rule.
"Really? They have to be stronger than him?" Bayley asked knowing she'll have no trouble defeating Triple H if she was interested in Sasha, "Yep he says it because there isn't an person in this world that can defeat him I mean he saved the whole world with his strength." Sasha said and looked up at Bayley smiling at her.
"You are pretty tough." Sasha said Bayley blushes at the compliment, "Sasha has your dad ever let you have practice matches with him?" Bayley asked.
"Come one are you kidding? He's the world champion he would tear me apart, dad doesn't even let me watch him train now it's all a secret." Sasha revealed.
"So um, in the extremely unlike chance that someone say beats you father, you think you would freak out?" Bayley asked mentally hoping Sasha will be fine with her dad losing. Sasha made a fist and had an unfriendly look on her face.
"I wished he'd lose! This fame has gone to dad head! If he got beat his ego will disappear." Sasha said bitterly.
Perfect! Now I can beat her dad without feeling guilty!"
"But unfortunately, that will never happen, my dad too strong for his own good, now I got a question, who thought you two your martial arts?" Sasha asked as she got up and stretched.
Bayley snapped out of her thoughts and looked at Sasha.
"Huh? Well first someone named Austin and then my dad." Bayley said with a small smile as she looked up at the sky.
"It would've been awesome if I got to meet you're dad." Sasha said Bayley chuckles, "The two of you would've gotten along." Bayley said.
As the days went on Sasha training season finally paid off and she was flying just as fast as AJ.
"I can't believe she's flying that fast after only ten days of practice. She's something really special." Bayley said as she stood and watched Sasha land in front of her Kento chuckled as Videl landed in front of them, "I guess that does it Sasha, you graduated flying school." Bayley said.
"I guess I'll continue my training then... at home. I'll miss this. This is a great training place, you know. I will miss this." Sasha said as she looks around and looks back at Bayley, "And your mom's cooking."
Bayley laughed.
"You can go here anytime you want. I mean, after the tournament when we're both not busy anymore." Bayley said Sasha nodded and the two of them look at each other eye to eye. It was Sasha who broke eye contact.
"I will miss you too, AJ." Sasha said as she looks at AJ who is now beside Bayley, "Thanks a lot you guys, now I can go home and finish off my training in time for the tournament." Sasha said smiling.
"Yeah us too." Bayley said, "Goodbye see you guys at the tournament." Sasha said before she flew off.
"Goodbye Sasha." Bayley said as they waved at her as she flew off.
"Now we can train together." AJ said, "Oh come on! She's not that bad." Bayley replied defending Sasha.
LI think you kind of like her here. You seem kinda happy and excited when she comes every morning." AJ said as Bayley blushes, "Well, because... because if I teach her fast then the soonest she can leave us alone training." Bayley lies.
"Really?" AJ asked, "Let's just train!" Bayley said not answering AJ question and instead transforms into Super Saiyan.
"Now that's what I call training!" AJ said as she also transforms into Super Saiyan and the two of them start sparring.
Next Morning
"Bye mom." Bayley and AJ said in unison and took off flying.
"Bayley were are we heading?" AJ asked, "It's a special training place that dad and I trained seven years ago." Bayley replied.
"Why didn't you take Sasha and I there when you were teaching us how to fly?" AJ curiously asked, "Sasha wouldn't have lasted a second to the place were we're going. Only I, dad, and Edge have been able to last the full time." Bayley explained.
"Huh how come?" AJ asked feeling more curious about the special training place, "I'll tell you more about the place once we get there." Bayley replied.
The two continue flying in silence. As they continue flying AJ realizes that their flying were Austin lives.
"I've been here before and I never noticed any special training place."
Bayley and AJ land on the ground.
"Cmon AJ?" Bayley says and AJ follows, "Does Austin know we're here?" AJ asked.
"Yeah I called him yesterday and asked if we can use it and he said yes." Bayley replied as she opened the door and walked inside AJ closed the door behind her the two walked downstairs to the basement and stood in front of a shelf bin organizer. Bayley pushes the shelf bin organizer aside and reveals a brown door.
"You ready, AJ?" Bayley asks her hand on the door knock AJ nervously nods and Bayley opens the door the two walk in Bayley closes the door.
"Alright AJ, here we are the hyperbolic time chamber isn't this exciting?!" Bayley said in excitement, "Yes." AJ said and sees two side wings with housing, food supplies, bathing quarters and sleeping quarters.
"Why is it so hot, my body feels heavy. Is this why Bayley said Sasha wouldn't have been able to last a second here and why Bayley, dad, and Edge are the only to last the full time.
"It's just you and me now for the next year so get used to this." Bayley said, "Wait a year? But the tournament is this week! Why do we have to train here for a year?" AJ asked bewildered by the sudden news.
Bayley sheepishly smiles, "I forgot to mention that in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber one year inside the chamber is the equivalent to one day on the outside." Bayley explains and AJ eyes widened, "Wow really." AJ said shocked as Bayley nods.
"So do you think you are ready to train in here?" Bayley asked wanting to make sure that AJ is positive she wants to train here, "Yeah I definitely am, especially if I want to stand a chance against you and the others." AJ replied determined.
Bayley nods.
"I have a question." AJ said, "Whats the question?" Bayley replied.
"Are you going to ask Sasha to be you're girlfriend?" AJ asked resulting in Bayley to blush, "I overheard mom tell Beth mom that you and Sasha are going to date and eventually get married." AJ said.
"WHAT! I'm not going to ask Sasha to be my girlfriend nor are we getting married. She is just my friend and that's all." Bayley replied and takes a deep breath and placed her hand on AJ shoulder, "Sasha is a nice girl but I don't see her that way and... even if I did like her I'm sure Sasha wouldn't feel the same way." Bayley said sounding disappointed.
"Bayley I'm seven years old but I am sure that she likes you back too." AJ reassures her earning a small smile from Bayley.
"So which bed do you want?" Bayley asked changing the topic, "I pick the right bed." AJ said.
"Now let me give you the tour. To your left you have the bathroom fully equip with a shower and toilet to your right you have the most important room of all the kitchen! In here there is enough food to last us for a whole year!" Bayley said as they kept walking, "I don't know Bayley with the way the two of us eat the food won't last long." AJ said laughing.
"Ha, ha yeah well I'll make sure that we don't starve!" Bayley said laughing.
All of a sudden they came upon where the training grounds began.
"What, there...is nothing...how is this possible? How can this room be floating out here in the middle of nowhere?" AJ said in shock, "See what I mean; now you know why I said Sasha couldn't last more than a second. In fact the first time dad was here he was a teenager and only lasted a month. I managed to last a full year but that was because I was with dad. This place stretches for an eternity it can be quite overwhelming at times." Bayley said in a soft voice.
"Wow." AJ said still shocked.
"Listen, the temperature can change from hot to cold drastically and the air gets denser the deeper you go and the gravity is ten times the earths normal gravity so until you get used to this new environment we stick close together I don't want you to get lost." Bayley said, "Yeah, good idea." AJ agreed as they walked toward the training grounds.
"Remember we didn't come here for a vacation, we came here to train not to play! I want you to know that before we start I am going to be training much harder." Bayley said, "Right don't worry Bay-" AJ was cut off as she stepped out onto the ground and went crashing down to the ground.
"Oops sorry forgot to tell you that the first step out here is a dozy but don't worry you will get used to this kind of gravity pretty quickly it's only here to help you and don't transform into Super Saiyan I want you to get used to this kind of gravity in your natural form." Bayley said reassuringly.
"Right...thanks....for...the...warning..." AJ said as she struggled to get up.
"Bayley was able to last a whole year in the Hyperoblic Time Chamber then so can I especially if I want to have a chance at beating Bayley in the tournament."
"Now then let's work on the Kamehameha Wave." Bayley said as AJ now stood up, "Right!" AJ said.
Copeland House
Before Bayley and Sasha left to train
Kaitlyn lay on her bed worn out from a training session with her father. Lately her father had been training harder for the upcoming tournament.
"Dad really wants to prove that he's stronger than Bayley. That he has had less time to train with me."
Just then the phone in Kaitlyn room rang.
He picked up the phone. "Yeah?"
"Hey Kaitlyn, I've got something to tell you." AJ said and Kaitlyn heard the excitement in her voice.
"Oh hey, what is it?" Kaitlyn asked wondering why AJ sounded excited, "Well, my mom's gonna let me fight in the tournament! Bayley training me." AJ excitedly told Kaitlyn.
"What?! You're going to fighting the tournament?!" Kaitlyn said shocked, "Yeah! You should compete in it too, Kaitlyn." AJ suggested.
"I did tell my mom that I wanted to compete when Bayley came over to tell us she's competing." Kaitlyn said, "Well hopefully you're mom lets you. I gotta go Bayley and I are going to train at a special training place. Bye Kaitlyn I'll see you at the tournament." AJ said.
"Yeah, okay bye." Kaitlyn said and hung up the phone and left her room to go looking for her mom.
Kaitlyn found her mom in the lab.
"Hey honey." Beth said once she noticed Kaitlyn entering the room, "AJ called me and said that she's competing in the tournament!" Kaitlyn informs her.
"Really? That's surprising. I didn't expect Vickie to let AJ compete in the tournament as well." Beth said, "So.... I was wondering.... if I could join too?..."
"Well I'm fine with you joining but you need to ask you're dad . Though I'm positive positive he'll be okay with you joining as well." Beth replied, "Thanks mom." Kaitlyn happily said and runs to the gravity room and opens the door and sees her dad training.
"You're late. VERY late." Edge said, "I'm sorry I didn't know if you wanted me to train with you because you busy training for the tournament by yourself." Kaitlyn explained as she closed the door.
Edge was slightly irritated but let it slide this time. He didn't have the time nor the desire to argue with his child.
Once Edge was done with his warm up. He walked to the dashboard and turned the gravity up, and turned Super Sayian. Edge began punching and kicking the air. A couple minutes later he noticed his daughter having trouble with the gravity, "What are you even doing in here? 150g is a MAN'S training level and you are apparently still a child. The gravity is to much for you, so go play somewhere else for the time being." Edge said but Kaitlyn didn't listen to him.
"I can't... I got a phone call from AJ.... and she said that Bayley training her to compete in the tournament too.... now I want to compete in the tournament." Kaitlyn said as she forced herself to walk and not collapse, Edge smirked, "Looks like EVERYONE'S getting in on the action. So what are you going to do about it then, Kaitlyn?"
Kaitlyn huffed, "Guess I'll go Super!"
Edge looked back at Kaitlyn and gasped when she transformed into a Super Saiyan.
"Oh yeah. Ha ha! Take that you stupid gravity! All right!" Kaitlyn began jumping around and laughing.
Edge stared at her completely shocked seeing Kaitlyn as a Super Saiyan a transformation that was incredibly difficult for Edge to achieve.
"What? The ultimate warrior, the Super Saiyan, of only legends has been reduced to a child's play thing? What in the hell is going on here?"
Edge regained his composure.
"Kaitlyn, come here!" Edge ordered Kaitlyn stopped running around and went to her father. "What?"
"Bayley younger sister, AJ can she also acheive Super Sayian as you can?" Edge asked, "Yeah."
"What is going on here? It's like a Super Sayian bargain basement sale." Edge mumbles angry that once again Eddie children unlocked the transformation at a young age. First Bayley and now AJ.
"Hit me." Edge ordered, "Huh? You want me to hit you?" Kaitlyn asked making sure she heard her dad correctly.
"I told you to come and try to hit me. Don't make me say it again." Edge said, "But, dad. There is NO WAY I could hit you. You're so much stronger than me." Kaitlyn argued.
"Obey your father and attack me." Edge demanded, "And if you can land even ONE punch on me I'll take you to that amusement park for one hour." Edge said.
"Oh yeah! It is ON now!" Kaitlyn said as she got into her fighting stance, "Come at me with everything you've got." Edge ordered as he got into his fighting stance.
Kaitlyn began to throw kicks and punches like crazy.
Edge was beginning to get pushed back. When Kaitlyn managed to scrape Edge cheek surprising him and he then threw a hard puch at Kaitlyn face.
Edge stood for a second in shock. He hadn't meant to punch her so hard, Edge had gone into blind rage and now Kaitlyn was lying on the floor.
Kaitlyn sat up, "You never said you would hit back.... that hurt..." Kaitlyn said tears forming in her eyes.
"And I never said I WOULDN'T, now did I, Kaitlyn!" Edge stated, "Besides, you should never let down your guard in a battle!"
"No fair...." Kaitlyn began to cry, "Stop that crying! I'll take you to the stupid park. But if you don't stop that whining we won't be going at all!" Edge said.
"Really?!" Kaitlyn asked as she wiped the tears away, "Yes, but before we go you must tell me whose stronger you or Eddie youngest daughter?" Edge asked.
"I am a little bit stronger than her. But only because AJ a year younger than I am and she hasn't learned to fly yet." Kaitlyn answered Edge growled and then remembered what Kaitlyn told him earlier.
"You said that Bayley is training AJ for the tournament, correct?" Edge asked Kaitlyn nodded, "Yeah AJ said that Bayley is taking her to train in a special training place." AJ replied.
"Special training place. The only place I could think of is the..." Edge chuckles, "If Bayley thinks training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber will help her defeat me in the tournament then she absolutely is wrong."
Hyperbolic Time Chamber
"Alright AJ I think that was enough training for today." Bayley said, "Yeah I am beat!" AJ said panting as they walked back to where their beds were.
"So, how do you like the training so far? Is it challenging enough for you?" Bayley curiously asked wondering if it was challenging for AJ just like how it was for her seven years ago, "Yeah, it is definitely challenging especially the gravity." AJ replied.
"Don't worry you'll get used to it. I had trouble too when it came to the gravity. " Bayley said, "But we only have a few months left!" AJ said worried.
Bayley smiles at AJ "Don't worry AJ, you have made a huge progress in here more than I did and I was eleven! You're stronger than I was at you're age."
"Really, you think so?" AJ asked as she and Bayley got ready for bed.
"Yup, you're fighting technique has changed dramatically and you're much faster." Bayley said trying to cheer AJ up.
AJ gave a slight smile showing that she wasn't as worried anymore "Thanks Bayls."
"No problem AJ that's what I am here for!" Bayley said with a grin.
"But I thought we were also here to train?" AJ asked confused, "Well that too." Bayley said as she and AJ laughed.
"I think we better hit the hay we have a full day of training tomorrow and I don't plan on slowing down the pace okay." Bayley said, "Right, night Bayley!" AJ said as Bayley tucked her into bed.
"Night sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite." Bayley said and walks away.
"Time to continue my training." Bayley said and flys away we're she won't wake up AJ from sleeping.
