Should one pass on by or stop and greet?

When out on the streets of Windsor or Eton
What do I do if I come up behind one?
Should I draw alongside, go about wide
Tuck in behind or just run past em?

What if they're coming the other way?
How do I greet them, what do I say
Do I simply smile and say good day
Or cross the road and be on my way?

Do I risk a smile and chance a wave
Or lower my eyes and be less brave?
How do you think I should behave
Running through a royal enclave?

What about running across the bridge?
There one encounters privilege
I could run into a future PM
Eton's simply crawling with them.

What do I do if I meet a toff?
I don't have a hat or a cap to doff
Is it Ok to swear at them under one's breath
Or should I pick up speed and simply be off?
