Chapter Three - New Neighbours
-Present Day-
I suppose you'd be surprised that little Sara has lost her virginity, and to be honest even I'm shocked at my behaviour. I haven't had sex since, nor have I seen Taylor Summers, since he was temporarily expelled the day after his weekend bash for serious damage to school property - for Taylor for the ultimate Bad Boy (again, note the capitals Bs) of Evergreen Academy. In fact the whole Summers family had moved away from the area, so that the children could experience life away from a big city. I cannot describe the relief I had after hearing the news of his expulsion - and relocation - and I thought I'd got away with it until Jenna's revelation.
Needless to say I spent the rest of the day sneaking round school in order to make sure I remained away from Mr Summers, which Jenna and Jax found hilarious. The two of them kept pretending to see my virginity-snatcher down the corridors, and each time I'd run for my life into the nearest girl's bathrooms, a hard task for someone who hates most forms of exercise.
Despite my lack of sporting interest I'd managed to maintain a slim figure due to my passion for dance. Since the age of three my mum had taken me to ballet lessons, and I'd continued with them for the rest of my life up until junior year, when my studies took priority. As a result, I had toned legs and stomach, and my arms weren't in bad shape either, and because of our annual holidays to California my skin was a golden brown, which went along with my dark hair.
In contrast, Jenna had hair of the lightest blonde, and striking green/grey eyes to match. Her skin was slightly more pale than mine, yet she still had a healthy tan, and her smile was the best I've ever seen. And not forgetting Jackson, who's complexion was comprised of my dark hair, and Jenna's green eyes. We were the perfect three musketeers.
Thankfully I only had two classes after lunch - Maths and English Literature - and the day passed by otherwise uneventful. As always, I waited for my two main companions in the parking lot and when they finally appeared we all piled into my car and drove to my house for our weekly film spree. Every Thursday night the three of us would have a movie marathon in my living room, and since my mum had night shifts on Thursdays we were free to raid the kitchen as much as we desired. Duvets and blankets would cover the floor and it would serve as the perfect end to a hectic day.
"I'll make the popcorn and you's two can pick out the films," Jackson calls out, making his way into the kitchen.
Jenna quickly picks out a selection, including Skyfall, the latest Hunger Games film and her all time favourite The Notebook.
"Jenna we watch that soppy shizzle every single time you're here," I complain. There's only so much Ryan Gosling I can take, no matter how attractive he may be.
"Hush up Sara, we're watching it," she replies, and sticks the James Bond film into the player just as Jax strolls in again.

6 hours later the three of us are flat out on the floor, with Jenna using a Domino's pizza box as a cushion. She has tears rolling down her cheeks since The Notebook was the last movie we watched.
"It's just so saddd," she sobs, but her cries are met with sarcastic eye rolls from both Jax and I. He too shares my negative view of the over the top romance featured in Jenna's favourite.
Since Jax had left his car at mine this morning after we decided I'd car pool, he was able to drive home, and ten minutes later I waved both he and Jenna bye and quickly cleared up the bowls of food from the living room. I turned off the TV screen and piled all the covers up before hiking my own up the stairs and into my room.
My room is pretty bare compared to Jenna's and I suppose compared to the majority of teenage girls. The walls are of a mocha colour, with white frames in various places containing photos of both friends and family. As an only child I had no goofy photos of my siblings and me, but I had plenty of wacky pictures with Jenna and Jax to make up for it. My bed sits in the middle, with my duvet having swirling patterns on it of the same colour as the paint on the walls. I have a white bedside cabinet on either side of the queen size bed, each of which has a lamp on them. My carpet is white, which means that my white desk and chair blends into the floor slightly. My wardrobe is of average size and the only hint of glamour in my room is the glitzy light shade that hangs in the centre of the ceiling. It's plain, but so am I, and I like it.
I rush to get into the warm comfort of my pyjamas and after brushing my teeth I grab a book off my desk and go to sit outside on the small balcony which hangs off the side of my room.
It was only then that I realised a moving van was driving away from the house next door, a house that had been on the market for about seven months. Most of the lights were on inside the house and since some of the windows were open I could hear many voices mingling within it, one of which in particular sounded oddly familiar. After reading a few more pages I decided to call it a night, but just before I turned to go back into my room, a silhouette appeared in the bedroom opposite mine in the house next door. Whoever the guy was he wasfacing away from me, but seemed to be of the same age. His skin was of a deep tan colour, faintly darker than mine, and wow was their back muscular. His hair was brown, and swept over to one side. Even from the back he was gorgeous.
That was when I sneezed.
That was when my new neighbour decided to turn around and see me looking.
That was when I once more clapped eyes on my virginity snatcher.
A/N
Thank you so much to each and every one of you who has taken the time to get this far into my book. I hope to update fairly regularly, however I'm aware that that is quite a hard statement to stick by!
Question of the day - what are your views on The Notebook? Do you agree with Jenna's love of it?
