Blast from the Past

Garmadon was certainly...interesting. He brushed his teeth with a saw, he ate weird grub for dinner (low in fat!), he sunbathed in the middle of a storm, the list goes on. The ninja were certainly getting tired of it.

Kai especially wanted him to leave. He had been keeping no an eye on him. Even when they were discussing their plan to get Lloyd back from the serpentine. Grace had never met him, but according to the others, he was Garmadon's son, and ran away from his school to cause trouble, until the ninja took him in. Along with that, the ninja had still been subtly competing for the place of the legendary green ninja. But back to the plan.

Everyone was gathered in the bridge. "Any luck finding the Serpentines' whereabouts?" Sensei asked Zane. "No, but the falcon is programmed to alert us if he sees any suspicious activity." "Good. If we find them we find Lloyd and the fang blade. Kai, Nya, prepare the deck and double check the anchor. We need to be ready when we first get word of activity." They bowed and started towards the door. On the way out, Kai turned to Garmadon. "I've got my on you." He walked backwards, still staring at Garmadon, when he hit his head on the doorway. Nya pulled him through.

"Did you say the falcon was 'programmed'?" asked Sensei. "Oh, I don't know where to start!" Jay exclaimed. Grace only paid attention up to the parts she knew. Then she made her way to the room she shared with Nya. She started pacing around the room, many thoughts making their way in her head. There was one thing she couldn't figure out. Why had the Serpentine captured her several days earlier? Surely it couldn't be because of her gift could it? She didn't even know she had it at that time!

And where did she even get the powers of a seer? Maybe someone in her family had it, and it was passed down to her. As she paced back and forth, she bumped into the desk beside her bed, knocking over a photo album she kept on it. As it fell onto the floor, she saw a photo taken about 5 years back. She smiled. It was her 8th birthday. Her brother had smushed a plate of cake in her face, while she dumped a cup of water on his head. Their dad was laughing, and their mom...

Grace was interrupted from her memories by the call for dinner. She put the album back onto the table and rushed out the door.
