~Previously On 'Second Place' in Chapter 16~

Y/n, Kayano, and Kanzaki have all been abducted, and are now being held in a secure secondary location. Lucky for them, Y/n remembers she has a pocket knife in her skirt pocket. She develops a plan and sets it into motion. She frees herself, and works on Kanzaki's ropes but they almost get caught. Kayano says something that sets one of the guys up and he picks her up. Y/n has enough and decides to stand her ground. And that's what you missed in the previous chapter of Second Place...

||Y/n's P.o.v||

"Put her down!" I shouted, "You scum!"

Another guy grabbed me by my collar and pulled me onto my feet. His face was inches from mine,

    "What are you gonna do about it?" He teased.

I felt something inside of me almost snap. Before I knew it I switched the blade from my left hand to my right hand and I headbutted the guy in the nose. I didn't even get a chance to use the knife on him because I hit him so hard that he passed out on the floor, and he was bleeding all over the place. The guys looked me in shock for a second, even the guy holding up Kayano looked at me in surprise,

    "Let us go!" I exclaimed revealing the knife from behind my back.

The guy tossed Kayano back onto the ground by Kanzaki. I looked back at them made eye contact with Kanzaki,

"Kanzaki you have to escape with Kayano! I was almost done with yours!" I told her.

"No, you can't just expect us to leave you-" Kayano said.

    "Oh so you're the fighter of the group..." the leader said, "If I break you then I break them too~"

He stared approaching me, but I swung my knife at him causing him to stay back,

    "Stay away from me, or I'll kill you!" I exclaimed.

He put his hands up in defense, catching me slightly off guard, but I stood my ground, and backed up a bit, so I was standing in front of Kanzaki and Kayano,

    "We were just having some fun singing Karaoke." The leader said making me confused, "Say that and no one else gets hurt..."

I loosened my stance, 'Was he letting us go?' I questioned.

    "Let's get together once we're all back in Tokyo, eh? Maybe while we reminisce over out fun vacation photo..." he said menacingly approaching me once again.

I swung my blade and it cut his shirt, causing the guy to stop.

    "How about this...you let us go, and I don't cut you and your friends into bits..." I threatened.

He looked surprised but then he grinned at me,

    "Do you really think you can take us all on?" He asked.

What he said unnerved me. Could I really take all of these guys on by myself? He laughed a bit, I think he could tell I was loosing my composure. I jumped when I heard the door behind us open,

    "Oh that's them." The leader said.

I stiffened, 'There's more of them?!?!' I panicked. It was like I was two different people, on the inside I was scared shitless, and I wanted to pass out, but on the outside...I was ready to take them all on. I felt myself get back into my fighting stance that Mr. Karasuma taught us. 'Is this...bloodlust?' I wondered.

    "Our photographers have arri-"

I perked up a bit, when the guy didn't finish his sentence. I leaned over, and saw it too. One of their guys was beaten to a pulp, and was being held up, by none other than...Karma. He dropped the unconscious guy on the ground, Nagisa and the others were with him as well!

    "School trip Guidebook, page 1243..." I heard Nagisa say,"What to do when a group member has been abducted."

I practically beamed and with my newfound confidence I felt like I could take anyone on, inside and out! I chuckled a bit, one of the guys looked at me,

    "Now that backup's here, I think I'll be just fine..." I commented

    "You're here!" Kayano exclaimed standing up.

The leader guy stepped infront of us,

    "I-it's you! How'd you know we were here?!" The guy asked.

I walked up to him and tapped him on the back of the neck with my blade, causing him to jump back away from me,

    "The guidebook silly!" I told him. I then reached into my pocket and pulled out a cellphone, "And of course this never hurts either!" I said happily.

    "H-how did you-"

    "I guess you never accounted for a spare phone did you?" I asked happily, "I took Karma's when you guys were surrounding us! And I sent them the location after I freed myself!" I admitted happily. Nagisa smiled and kept reading from the guide book, "The perp can't go too far after the abduction, but will choose a secluded spot nearby. If this is the case see page 134." Nagisa read.

The guys were all looking at the rest of our group and I went to Kanzaki and cut the rest of her rope, freeing her. Then I got back up and walked over to Kayano and freed her as well,

    "I can't believe your plan actually worked..." Kayano told me.

I sighed a bit in relief as well,

    "Honestly, I wasn't sure if this plan was going to work either! Karma's cell died right as I sent our location, and I wasn't sure if they would get it or not..." I admitted.

    "So?" I heard Karma say from behind me, "What's it going to be, fellows? You've already done so much! You'll be spending the rest of you trip...in the hospital."

I got chills. Karma is so menacing sometimes. The leader guy looked like he was about to back down but then someone came up from behind where Nagisa and the others had entered from,

    "Hmph! You junior high brats, actin' all tough..." A guy from the shadows said.

    "Those'll be the buddies I called." The leader remarked.

I got scared again and instantly got back into my fighting stance even though I was about ready to pass out from fear...

    "They're the worst badasses you Goody two Shows have ever-"

And yea, Koro Sensei had taken care of them. I instantly got out of my stance and took anoter sigh of relief,

    "Oh thank gosh! Koro Sensei you came!" I exclaimed.

The leader practically freaked out as Koro Sesnsei made his way out of the shadows. I would have laughed if I still wan't so terrified,

    "No badasses here. I took care of them all." Koro Sensei announced.

The rest of our group beamed as well,

    "Sorry I'm late. I was letting you handle this, While I searched elsewhere with a fine tooth comb."

Koro Sensei praised Nagisa for bringing the book along with him on the trip, then handed out Karma, Okuda, and Sugino books too.

    "Th-this is your teacher? Bullshit!" The leader exclaimed, "Who does he think he is, lookin' like that?!"

He had a bottle in his hand. I jumped a bit when he whipped it out. They all started charging at Koro Sensei, but obviously they were no match for his super abilities, and they were all quickly over powered. He slapped all of them in the face at once, this time I literally almost laughed. They all looked so foolish,

    "Don't be touching my students with your filthy hands, slow enough for a fly to land on them." Koro Sensei warned.

All the guys scattered minus the leader of the group, he still had more to say,

    "So even the teachers are special at elite schools...You're lookin' down on us 'cause of your rank, aren't you?"

I had to refrain from rolling my eyes. This guy was so simple, is that really what he thought was going on right now?? And why did that give him the right to kidnap me and the others?!?!?

    "Makin' fun of me for bein' a stupid highschooler!" He exclaimed pulling out his own knife

The guys I thought had scurried off before actually hadn't and they charged at Koro Sensei with Knives along with the leader.

    "We're not elite." Koro Sensei said as he upercutted some of the guys with ease.

While Koro Sensei was fighting he lectured the guys, saying things like,

    "They're students at a famous school, that's true. But they're considered the school outcasts. Their class name is the object of discrimination"

He knocked more and more of the guys out,

    "And yet," Koro Sensei continued, "they take on so many things with a positive attitude."

The leader tried to stab Koro Sensei, but Koro Sensi grabbed him by the arm,

    "They wouldn't drag other down with them, not like you." Koro Sensei told the guy before knocking him out as well.

    "It has nothing to do with our school title, or my title. Be they in clear stream or muddy river, the fish who swim forward turn out the finest." Koro Sensei added.

Koro Sense lifted up a...finger? And said, "Now then, students, let's take care of them. We'll teach them a physical lesson on the fundamentals of school trips." he pointed at the guys still awake.

Our rescuers quickly hit them on the heads with heavy items, rendering them shocked and useless pretty much. Turns out those heavy objects were those heavy ass books that Koro Sensei had given them when he first showed up. It's amazing how much those books have come in handy for the day...They all passed out. As soon as they did my legs finally gave out and I fell onto my knees. Everyone was caught off guard by this,

    "Y/n, are you alright?!?!" Kayano exclaimed.

    "Yea I'm fine...it's just that my legs finally gave out from fear...those guys were so scary!" I pointed out weakly.

    "Oh no! You're bleeding!" Okuda said hoping over the guys bodies. She inspected my head.

Everyone kind of crowded around me a bit,

    "Oh, this isn't my blood." I told everyone, "It's that guy's!" I pointed over to the guy who had been unconscious since Nagisa and the other showed up.

    "He kind of grabbed me, so I headbutted him and I guess he bled on me..." I said awkwardly.

They all stared at me for a second before they all beamed,

    "That's so cool!" Sugino said, "You took out that guy, all by yourself??? He's like twice your size!!!!" He exclaimed

I blushed a bit,

    "I don't really know how to explain it...I got so scared that my adrenaline just took over...I'm just glad I didn't have to stab him or anything" I tell him.

    "That's what I'm talking about Y/n!" Karma exclaimed proudly, "You must have gotten so scared and threatened that you started running on pure bloodlust! I'm impressed, you didn't seem like the type to have something like that!"

My face heated up and I shook my head,

"That's not it!" I exclaimed embarrassed.
