Part 34

Khushi shifted her things to Nani's room who welcomed her. She made place for her things in the cupboard.

"Bitiya. Don't hesitate. Feel free" said Nani.

"Naniji. Can you open the lock to this door ??"asked Khushi indicating the door which is locked.

Now Naniji understood why she choose to stay in her room. Sighing, she gave the keys to her. Khushi happily took the keys and opened the lock. She opened the door and stepped into the poolside.

Only Nani's room have an interconnection to poolside of Arnav's room. But the door is always closed as Nani won't prefer to ruin the loneliness of her chote. He loves to spend time there and didn't like if anyone intrudes his space.

Arnav who is talking over the phone, saw Khushi stepping into the poolside through Nani's room. He looked at her wide eye.

This is why she wants to stay in Nani's room thought Arnav.

Khushi approached him smiling. He disconnected the call.

"Arnavji. By now you must have understood why I stayed in Nani's room ?? it is because it have an interconnection with poolside. Now you can call me at anytime for anything." Said Khushi.

"What work I will have with you ??"asked Arnav.

"Any work Arnavji which you want me to do as wife" said Khushi with a naughty glint.

"Why are you doing all this ??'asked Arnav.

"Because I am your wife and it is my right" said Khushi.

Arnav rolled off his eyes and left from there.

In the night, Khushi entered into Arnav's room. She saw Arnav who is sleeping on the bed. She slowly went and slept beside him.

Arnav who is not fully asleep woke up feeling a movement in the bed. He got up and looked at Khushi who is sleeping beside him.

"What the.. What are you doing here ??"asked Arnav.

" I am supposed to be here Arnavji" said Khushi covering herself with quilt.

"You should be nani's room" said Arnav.

"I will sleep in Nani's room from tomorrow" said Khushi and closed her eyes.

'You can sleep there tonight too. Go from here " said Arnav little irritated..

"Uffo Arnavji. Your brother still din't came from hospital. And you don't have any right to say me to go from here. I am your wife and it is my right to sleep beside my husband. No one can snatch my right from me" said Khushi still closing her eyes.

Arnav is now hell irritated with her behaviour.. Cursing his fate, he sighing went and slept on the recliner.

Next morning:

Arnav came downstairs in his three piece suit. Anjali who is at the sofa rushed to him seeing him.

"Chote. Shall we leave for the hospital ??"asked Anjali.

"No Di. Me and mama are going. Akash is already there. You just stay here. We will bring him" said Arnav.

"But I want to come with you Chote ??"asked Anjali.

Mamaji who is coming downstairs too said" Anjali Bitiya. Arnav is saying right. You don't take stress. We will bring him soon"

"But Mamaji..."Anjali is going to say something but Mama said' Listen to us Beta. Why are you being stubborn ??"

Anjali nodding her head said "Haan. Even you people are right.. I need to prepare for welcoming Dhruv. Bring him carefully "

After Arnav and mama left for hospital, Anjali is making a hustle bustle in the house.

"Di. you just sit. We are here naa. We will take care of preparations" said Payal.

"No No Payalji. How can I sit when my Dhruv is coming back. devimayya listened to me and send him back to me" said Anjali.

Shyam who is watching this is pissed off seeing Anjali's concern for Dhruv. He can't understand how can anyone be soo foolish ?? It is all because of her pampering, he is spoiled now. Sometimes he feel to slap Anjali for her foolishness and sometimes gets worried how can she take it after knowing truth about Dhruv.

Dhruv is brought back to home by Arnav, Akash and Mama. They were astonished to see the decorations made by Anjali to welcome him. when they were at the door, Anjali stopped them and went inside to bring aarti thaali. Dhruv is in the wheel chair which is holding by Akash. NK too came along with them. Anjali did his aarti and asked him to come in.

"How are you Dhruv ??"asked Anjali cupping his face.

"I am fine Di" said Dhruv. She hugged him to which he reciprocated.

"Di. let him take rest" said Arnav.

Anjali nodded her head " I cleaned your room. Come. I will take you" then turning to Nk said "NKji. I have asked HP to clean the guest room. He will show you the room. You can stay there."

"NK Beta. Feel free. Think it as your home. Don't hesitate to ask for anything" said Nani.

Nk nodded his head. Then Nani asked HP to show Nk his room to which he did.

Dhruv is taken into his room. Akash made him sit on the bed.

"Di. Everything is just like as it was before" said Dhruv.

"Haan Dhruv. I know your every like and dislike. " said Anjali.

"Dhruv beta. Now you take rest. " said Nani then turning to Anjali" Anjali Bitiya. Let's move from here"

All are leaving when Dhruv called Anjali.

"Di. Where is Khushi ?? I didn't see her when the time I returned" asked Dhruv suspiciously.

"She went to temple to pray for you" said Anjali. Dhruv nodded his head and all left from there.

After sometime, in the kitchen:

Anjali came into the kitchen where Khushi and Payal are preparing lunch.

"Khushiji. Dhruv came" said Anjali.

'Ok Di." said Khushi continuing her work.

" You only should answer him why you are staying in Nani's room. It is your decision. So you answer him" said Anjali rudely.

"Fine then. I will answer I am no more his wife. Now I am Arnavji's wife" said Khushi.

"What ?? NO. You can't do that" said Anjali panicked.

"I can very well Di. So you better take care of your little brother and answer him. If I will answer, then he will be shattered" said Khushi.

Anjali looked at Khushi angrily and said "Seems like my Dhruv did a big mistake by marrying a mean girl like you who din't even have concern for him. He loves you a lot and you..."

She left from there stamping her foot. Khushi too chopped the vegetables angrily for the words of Anjali. Payal who is watching this is astonished. She din't understand What is happening so she remained silent.

During Lunch, Anjali and Nani took Dhruv's lunch to his room. Anjali started to feed him.

"Di. Where is Khushi ?? Didn't she came back from temple ?"asked Dhruv.

Anjali is pissed off by this but covering a smile said "She has returned long ago. She came to see you but you were sleeping. So she went out. Now she is in the kitchen helping Payal in cooking"

"Call her now Di" said Dhruv.

Anjali reluctantly called HP and asked him to bring Khushi. HP informed Khushi who is arranging dishes on dining table. Rolling off her eyes, She came to Dhruv's room.

Dhruv smiled seeing her to which she reciprocated with the fake smile.

"How are you feeling Dhruv ??"asked Khushi.

"Very Fine after seeing you" flirted Dhruv openly to which Khushi felt uncomfortable.

"Have your lunch ??" said Khushi then turning to Nani said "Naniji. I have prepared lunch and arranged them on the table. Payal went to call everyone. You people too come after feeding him"

That is when Mamiji called her from outside.

"I will see what she needs" said Khushi and left from there thanking mami underneath.

At the lunch time, everyone are having lunch. Anjali came there after giving Dhruv his medicines. NK is also present with them.

When everyone are having lunch, Arnav's mobile rang. He lifted the call.

"Haan Aman. Good. When is the flight ??"asked Arnav.

Hearing what Aman said, Arnav "Ok. I will be at the airport by that time"

All looked at him questioningly.

"Chote. Are you going somewhere ??"asked Anjali.

"Haan Di. I am leaving for London tonight" said Arnav.

"Then when you are thinking to say us. After you left ??" mocked Anjali.

Arnav remained silent. Khushi is shocked to hear this. Arnavji is leaving for London, now how can I pacify him thought Khushi.

"Chote. How can you leave like this ??"asked Anjali. Arnav and others looked at her confused.

" Chote. Dhruv is in this condition and how can you leave like this" said Anjali almost in the verge of crying.

"Di. We are all here to take care of Dhruv. Me, papa, Jiju and Nk is also there naa. Let Bhai go. London deal is important for AR" said Akash.

"Haan Anjali Bitiya. Akash is right. We are all there naa" said Mamaji too.

Anjali din't say anything.

"How many days you are going to stay there ??"asked Khushi surprising Arnav.

"May be a week" said Arnav.

Khushi sighed in disappointment. How could she even pacify him if he goes away ? She has to say Arnav everything and seek apology from him thought Khushi.

After lunch when Khushi entered into the room, she saw Arnav packing his clothes and talking over the phone. She went to help him but he showed his hand to stop her. He disconnected the call.

"What are you doing ?? What do you want ??"asked irritated Arnav.

"I am helping you for packing" said Khushi.

"No Need. I can take care of myself" said Arnav.

"I know but still now I am your wife and it is my duty" said Khushi.

That's it. Arnav is now really pissed off hearing this thing from the past two days. He grabbed Khushi's shoulder tightly. He turned into a total ASR now.

"What the hell is this dammit ?? Kya pati pati lagake raka hai do din se. Where did this dutiful wife gone from the first day of marriage ?? If you forgot, let me remind you that it is you who denied to accept me as your husband. What did you say that day ?? You are wearing this mangalsutra and sindoor on the name of Dhruv. Isn't it ?? Seems like your sindoor and mangalsutra are worked, see your love of life Dhruv Singh Raizada is back to you. I am a womanizer who destroyed many innocent girls lives for you..You are even disgusted to see my face. You din't even want to breathe in the same room where I am..you felt that it would be better if I die. Isn't it ?? Now what happened suddenly, soo much change in two days ?? what is going on your mind ??" Shouted Arnav angrily gripping his hands tightly.

Khushi hissed in pain. She was frightened by his anger. She has seen ASR's wrath many times but never felt it for herself. Tears made their way through her cheeks for his accusations. She felt the taste of her own medicine accusing innocent person.

Seeing her tears, Arnav left her, closed his eyes controlling his anger then again came dangerously near to her, then he said "Listen carefully, just stay away from me. you are free to do whatever you want. Even if you want to go back to Dhruv, you can go. It doesn't make a difference to me. No need to bother about what family or society will think"

Khushi looked at him Shocked for his words. Now she came to know how Arnav must have felt when she blamed him without his fault. The pain caused when the person whom we loves gives us is unbearable when we were not at fault.

Khushi then gaining courage said" I know Arnavji. I hurted you a lot with my actions and words. Sorry is very small word for which the deeds I did. That time, I am unaware of the truth... Now I know the truth. I know that you are innocent. The real culprit is Dhruv and he framed you in my eyes as culprit. I am very sorry."

She turned only to look at the empty room. Arnav had already left. She saw Payal at the door who is standing with the clothes. She had a shock written all over her face. It is evident from her face that she heard everything.

Khushi wiped off her tears and smiled to her. Payal simply came inside and placed the clothes on the bed.

"These are Arnavji's clothes. They were mixed up with Akash's" said Payal.

Khushi nodded her head and Payal left from there. Khushi closed the door and sat down crying over her fate.
